This is the second time I used Robert Wood Plumbing. The first time was for a sewer clog at a rental. Another company had come out before and told me all the sewer lines needed to be replaced for big bucks. I called Robert for a second opinion. He quickly found the problem , tree roots at a coupling, and was on it the next day replacing the coupling for a very reasonable price.

This time it was an under ground water leak issue at my home. He sent Chris out who politely listened to my story and explained my options. Once we agreed on the best course of action, he gave me a very reasonable quote.

Although I originally used Robert for a second opinion, he's the first I'll call from now on!

I found Robert Wood Plumbing thru our home warranty for a clogged shower drain. Robert and his employee came out the next day and promptly fixed it.
They were both polite and took care of the job.
Both took off their shoes before entering our home and wore face masks the entire time.

Robert Jr and his counterpart stopped by today to take care of our kitchen sink as it was not draining properly-- they were scheduled through our home warranty HWA. They were both kind, took care of the issue and left the kitchen clean. Would definitely recommend for any plumbing needs.

Dishonest. Not happy wit the service. I told him on the phone that the toilet needs to be taken out and I have tried the basic things myself. He used auger and nothing happened and said I do not have my camera with me so I will come back later!! He charged me $100 for the work that had no use. He knew he ripped me off so even did not bother to call me.

My water heater started leaking and I looked up a local plumber. Saw Robert Wood Plumbing come up with good reviews so I gave him a call. He came out the same day, installed the water heater, and took away the old one.

Because there was some water damage, he did not hook up the pressure relief valve, stating that he would come back to do it once I had cleaned up the water damage. I agreed that was reasonable and he left. At this point I have already paid him.

Part of the cleanup process required the removal of the water heater and a temporary hookup so I wasn't without hot water, which Robert Wood agreed to do. This is where the trouble begins. He states he is going to show up at noon that day and then crickets. He stops responding to my texts and call. I go without hot water for a few days. Fortunately these were some of the the hottest days of this summer.

Fast forward a few days later and the cleanup is completed and everything has dried out fully. I reinstall the water heater with a little outside help. My phone rings that day. It's Robert Wood with a great excuse as to why he hasn't been responding. He apologizes and I accept his circumstance. He agrees to come over a few days later and finish hooking up the pressure relief valve.

The day arrives and again he is ghosting me. I text, call, and leave a voicemail once a day for the following week, all very politely asking when I can expect him to finish the work. At this point I've given up on him being professional and actually doing what I paid him for. The job is incomplete and he's avoiding me. Avoid Robert Wood Plumbing to avoid an experience like this.

TLDR; Paid for water heater installation, did not complete the work, then ghosted me.

Robert answered my call, I made an appointment, and he showed up early. He gave me a very fair price (I got 2 other estimates) and did the plumbing work in a very timely manner. He is honest, professional, & provided me with a professional invoice. He also wore a mask when he walked up to the house. I will definitely be using him again and I will be providing him with some referrals.

Excellent customer service. I was very happy they showed up with masks on, consideration of health and safety of customers is hard to find with all the misinformation floating around about COVID-19. I would recommend Robert to anyone in a heartbeat.

Robert has done multiple project at my home in the last year. He installed a salon sink and fixed a slab leak when we moved into the house. Today he installed a new kitchen sink and garage disposal. Everything works great and looks amazing! Great work and quality service!

Robert is an excellent plumber. He is very experienced and knows what he is doing as his dad and grandfather we're both plumbers. He is very conscientious and a good listener and is fair priced. He leaves the job cleaner than he found it and it's very respectful of our home. I have used him several times over the last 10 years and he has never let me down, I've never had him to call him back to fix a job he always gets it right the first time. I highly recommend this plumber as an upstanding citizen of the community, a kind and conscientious person. He is extremely responsive to phone calls and has great communication skills. Robert shows up on time and is fair priced. If you hire this plumber you'll find yourself calling him again and again because you will build a trust with him as I did!

I am a renter. I rent a condo. in Dana Point. I had been having issues with my kitchen sink clogging. I have been renting for the last 10 years, and never had this issue. So, I knew it was time to call a plumber. I Yelped Plumber and one of the first names to pop up was Robert Wood. I just decided to call Robert. He answered immediately and I explained to him my issue with my kitchen sink. It was midday. Robert offered to stop by that day, even though he had such a busy schedule. I explained the next day was fine but really appreciated his drive to want to help me out, same day. We exchanged a few texts to set for the following day and Robert arrived exactly when he said he would. I answered my door my door to Robert with a mask on. I did too. I led him to my kitchen and he said he had an apprentice he was training and asked if it would ok if he could help. I'm already so impressed! No worries at all. So, Robert and his apprentice got to work. Robert turned on the kitchen faucet and literally raised his right hand to confirm that that the he knew where the pipe clog was coming from, simply by listening to the water running from the sink. At that point, I knew I was in great hands. Robert went to work. He even spoke to my neighbors (Condo, shared walls and pipes), to make sure their pipes were clean and he was not accidentally snaking their pipes. Robert was able to access their kitchen to make sure. Above and beyond! I'm stoked to say, my kitchen sink is fixed! Robert and his apprentice did an amazing job! Also, getting to know Robert a little, his father is a plumber. He's a really good guy, and friendly and kind, above and beyond how amazing he is as a plumber.
