Just had Steve and Joel in our home installing a Train Heating and A/C unit. They did a great job, showed us the problems with our current set up, and were very sensitive to what we wanted in our new system. They were efficient and clean, respectful of our dogs, our grand daughter and our time. They were in our home three days and did an excellent job. We had used Rivers before to do small repairs on our heater and A/C, I'm hoping with this new system we won't need to use them for that purpose I would recommend them w/o hesitation.

We have had Rivers come out for a couple of issues.

They have done preseason updates on our heater. When the motor went out after 12 years, Steve came to check it out. He was able to replace the motor and other parts which had also given up the ghost. The heater was like new and about 1/4 the cost of a new heater. He came at the end of a busy day and stayed until 8.

We have had them come out for drain issues. They come when the promise and clean up after they are done.

We would highly recommend Rivers for plumbing issues and will call them if we have future needs.

I can't say enough about Rivers! From the initial phone scheduling to the finished product. Steve & Co have been our go-to's for anything plumbing, heating or AC related for years. They will provide whatever best suits your needs, whether it be a temporary fix (because a big project may not be your the current budget) or an entire replacement (and still their prices are competitive and reasonable). We do not even waste our time contacting anyone else for service or quotes.

BAD BUSINESS. Valley Plumbing is the company we usually use and we made the very costly mistake of going with this company. Our tenants had a garbage disposal problem and when the tech from Rivers Plumbing came out, the disposal was merely jammed and so it just needed resetting as they often do. Our tenants verified the tech was there 5 or so minutes and we got a ridiculous bill of $200. And to add insult to injury, when we attempted to negotiate the bill, we got a lecture on Workman's Comp expense for businesses in CA!! We will never do business with Rivers Plumbing again. We learned out lesson. Stick with the sure thing that you know.

Thank goodness for Steve Rivers! We discovered a leak in the water main under our house that had apparently been going on for quite some time. The area was accessible by only the tiniest of crawl spaces yet Steve was able to get in there and replace the damaged section of pipe. He had to work in wet cold mud but got the job done quickly with aid of his helper, and they left not a drop of mud in the house. They were totally professional and worked together to get the job done as quickly as possible. We'll certainly call them again next time we need help with plumbing problems.

Our air conditioning unit quit blowing cold air late one evening during a heatwave. I called Rivers the next morning and scheduled the next available appointment which was a day and a half away. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to receive a call later that same day asking if it would be okay if one of their a/c experts came by in about an hour. When he arrived he was courteous and very knowledgeable. Quickly diagnosing the problem, he replaced a failed part with a new one (which he had on his truck) and our a/c worked like new!

Excellent service, follow through, and a very fair price. Good old-fashioned service!!

My house was a scorching 88 degrees and something needed to be done. I called rivers plumbing and AC and they made it out the next day. The actual business owner came himself and fixed my problem within a half hour at a very respectable cost. Unfortunately, my dog ate the wires the following day and I found myself in the same situation as the day before. I called Steve and sure enough he came over, at 7pm, and fixed my issue for free. EXCELLENT customer service with affordable work. Thank you Steve for all your help, especially on short notice. I will recommend ALL my friends and family to Rivers plumbing and AC from here on out. 5 stars without a doubt.

Couple days ago they replaced our water heater, and after that both I and my husband noticed gas smell. We checked with soap and saw a leak, so they came and that this time when they were checking it seemed like there is no leak. He says everything is OK, but I can replace the pipe where you think the leak was, if you pay for that ($50 or something). This kind of thing should be included in the warranty, I believe. I'm not happy at all.

We called Rivers Plumbing Heating Air on the recommendation of our contractor. We had a leaking faucet in the garage that was frozen and could not be turned off necessitating turning off the water to the entire house.

The woman answering the phone was efficient and pleasant and scheduled us an appointment quickly. Later she called back to offer us an earlier appointment. Great.

Steve Halverson and Mr. Rivers arrived early, fixed the leak and installed new faucets. They were knowledgeable,efficient, pleasant and swept up the garage before leaving.

The office was a pleasure to work with..a real person answering the phone and scheduling an appointment ..not an answering machine with a promise to call back.

We would highly recommend Rivers Plumbing Heat Air to anyone with service needs.

We hired Steve Rivers for replacement of a Trane Heat/AC/Duct project on our house. Excellent work and price! Steve was able to start the job right away, and finished it over the weekend. We were not charged for this time period. I called several other companies and Steve was the first to call back. He has done plumbing work in the past and that also was top notch.

Ignore some of the other posts. This company and Steve are the best for both HVAC and plumbing . We are calling him next week for a tankless water heater and are looking forward to this needed improvement from Rivers Plumbing, Heating!
