Don't bother wasting your time. I have never given any business a bad review. I guess there is always a first. River City Plumbing (and whatever the name of the landscaping company is that is on the answering machine) along with Douglas earned this review. Douglas didn' my phone messages return numerous times and his plumbing employee Johnny never did. (But Nico the job estimator was a lovely person!) After getting an estimate from Nico I bought the sink they told me too. They send out Johnny (who SHOULD have known to check the sink before removing the old sink but didn't) and he takes out the old sink, determines the new sink is incorrect and then puts back the old sink and leaves. I am called and told to buy a different sink - which I did and 2 others that are close in size to the original sink to be sure they have a selection - I call to set up the repair and again no immediate return calls. Finally Douglas calls to say they are not doing the repairs because they weren't making enough $$ - really $350.00 to change a small bathroom sink. Ok - I get it - you got bigger jobs ($$$) to do. That said, your customer service stinks. I wish good luck to the other people who ""try"" to use your ""services"".

My family has a seasonal cabin up at Lake Tahoe, and we often find a frozen, burst pipe when we turn the water on in the spring. We always call River City Plumbing to fix the problem, and they always show up on time, and repair the leaks in a professional manner. They are great!

This year we had no problems.

After the job was done they wanted more money to repair the equipment that broke on the job, saying it was in the contract that I signed. If you use them have your atty read the contract. They are not hand shake people.

I booked an appointment this morning for someone to replace my kitchen faucet..With in minutes I got a text from Phil. He said he could be at my house by 8:00 am.. He and Nick showed up on time, following CDC protocol wearing masks. The service was excellent, and professional. I would highly recommend River City Plumbing, and will definitely consider
using them again, should the need arise . Thank you.

My water main broke between my house and the street and we had to turn off the water to the house - in January. I called so many plumbers and most said they were too busy or couldn't come out for days to evaluate the problem. Mike from River City Plumbing came out that night to look around, gave me a quote, and had his crew there the next morning. It was a big job and they even took an entire day to clean up my front yard. Because we were in emergency status I didn't get quotes from other plumbers, but after polling neighbors and friends, the cost was completely in line with others have paid for the same work. I'm so grateful for their fast response and great work.

After 16 years on the same water heater, we finally needed an update. We called many companies and River City Plumbing came back with the most fair quote for a new tank, recirculating pump, and labor. Upon removing the old tank, Mike and his team discovered some significant water damage and mold to the platform that the tank sits on. They were able to put the water heater on an extension that allowed us to have hot water for the week that the mold problem was cleaned and River City also subcontracted with a construction company that fixed all the drywall and rebuilt the platform. Throughout the entire process, Mike was professional, friendly, available to my constant questions and texts, and he even reached out a week after the work was done to make sure we were happy with everything. We were very happy overall with River City Plumbing and Mike. Thank you for everything!

Getting ready for the summer I had to have the irrigation system turned on. A friend came out to help and I was very grateful for his help. But for some reason one of the components sprung a leak that caused a major flood resulting in the need to have the water turned off at the main. That happened at 5:30 p.m. last night.
Early this morning I started calling 1/2 a dozen companies before getting to River City Plumbing. Only one other company even bothered to call back to say they didn't handle such problems.
I spoke with Jill at River City and she could tell I was under duress. She put me in immediate contact with Dustin Dunbar who is the Plumbing Manager for River City. Dustin came out himself, in less than an hour and found the problem turned the water back on to the house and then had me call Jill back to arrange for Rob their irrigation specialist from the partner company Harris Landscape to come out on Monday to check out the whole system.
I can't tell you how relieved I am to have the problem taken care of and can't rave enough about the excellent service I received.

This is an update to a previous review that I wrote on this company. The owner of this company is one of the most unprofessional I've ever come across. After an exchange of emails to try to resolve the situation and a conversation he threatens to put a lien on our house and or take us to court all over $100! He also would not answer some of the questions I asked him to answer in writing and proceeded to lie about the hours spent on the job and other details associated with the charges. My girlfriend and I tried to resolve this matter with him very professionally and before he got involved one of his managers had agreed to reduce the bill by $100 then he reneged on that offer and would only accept full payment or file lien on the house for $466 or take us to court. We don't really have time for this kind of BS so we'll probably end up paying the full amount but everyone out there should know what they're dealing with with this company and the owner of River City Plumbing. My advice would be stay away find another plumbing company there are plenty of them out there that have more integrity.
