Stay away from this company! I can not believe this company can still be here after so many bad reviews! Maybe ASH is the problem because most of the case was refereed by them.

Another typical crappy San Diego contractor hired by a horrible home warranty company called American Home Shield (AHS). Do not use either of them. AHS is pretty much a scam (just like most other home warranties) and Rite-A-Way is an incompetent plumbing company ready to strip your money away. Always make sure you look online for reviews like this before you even call a contractor. I've had slightly better luck with Home Depot's Redbeacon.

Don't know why all the bad reviews I was referred to them by my home warranty company. They had a tech Come out the next day. My water heater had stopped working pilot wouldn't light. When Carlos the tech got here within 5 min he determined it was the thermal coupler had one on him. Was done with the job in about 20 min very fast and professional service. Only cost me $60 and now I have hot water again. Would recommend there service.

Warning - stay away from this company! They are absolutely horrible! We have a home warranty, and they sent this company out to our home for a leaking shower faucet. First appointment: they were a no show. 2nd appointment: the guy shows up with out tools and had to use my husbands. Then he says he'll need to order parts. Third appointment: the parts he ordered still do not fix the leak, and he'll need to order a whole new valve system. Fourth appointment: instead of them ordering a new valve system, they went the cheap route and just ordered a valve kit, and STILL the leak is not fixed! On top of that, the water is now not only still leaking into the tub, we discovered it is leaking into the wall and onto the our master bedroom carpet. Bonus: the plumber also got black stains on my off-white carpet. Ugh, what a nightmare!

Exactly the same bad experience as the others one star review. I have an AHS insurance and have an appointment for garbage disposal replacement. They showed up 6 hours late than the schedule. (1pm schedule and showed up around 7pm). Thought about it was still better than not showing up. I drove back home for the appointment since I was already out for dinner. They took a look and told me it wont be covered by the insurance company and would like to install one me for $230. I guess my disposal was also pissed off and back to work. I end up to pay the evaluation fee and 6 hours wait.

Rite-A-Way was called out to detect a basic plumbing leak by our home warranty company because they apparently had specialized ""leak detection equipment"" that other plumbers do not have, meaning less holes cut in the wall to try to find a leak. When Chris, the Rite-A-Way Plumber arrived he said with confidence he did not need to use this leak detection equipment and he knew exactly where the leak was because he could feel the softness in the wall. He ended up cutting multiple holes in our walls and the leak was eventually found in the ceiling. Then he told me the leak would not be covered by our home warranty but he could fix it for $1,200. While I was on the phone with our home warranty company to discuss our coverage, Chris threw down a invoice and walked out of the house. He obviously had other priorities and did not want to do the work. I ended up getting the repair done by a local reputable licensed plumbing company the same day for $150. It took less than a hour.

Join the party. Absolutely worst company encountered. They got dispatched by American Home Shield insurance company. After a quick look, the technician gave me the most outrageous story saying that someone torched up the broken pipe and taped around it. The insurance company won't pay for it and it will cost me $350 in addition to the $100 service fee.

DO NOT use this plumbing service out of Temecula. The technician came to the house and was obviously afraid to go up into the attic. He lied about the findings and told us he was coming back after he got a ""suit"" and never returned! According to the company's secretary, he ""turned"" off his phone. Really!!!! The company is dishonest, offers no customer service, and is highly unreliable. Unfortunately, American Home Shield needs to contract with a reputable company, not this one.

This is a horrible horrible company, please do yourself a favor and look for another company to use. They are unprofessional they are not polite at all and are really a rip off. The technician just left without finishing the job and not even notifying the homeowner that he was leaving, I would not recommend this company to even my worst enemy

If there was a way to pick no stars I would.
This is the worst plumbing service I have ever used. Their plumbers are not professional and their customer service skills do not exist. My home warranty company used them to replace a leaking water heater. All they did was replace it (literally). They did not bleed the water lines before leaving and this, potentially, caused further waterline problems. It has been over a month of trying to talk to someone in charge. When, later, confronting the owner of the company, he said they were just called out to change the water heater. This company is terrible and I do not recommend them to anyone.
