These guys are only out to rip you off or try to sell you a new unit. They are overpriced with lousy techs. I would call anyone else first.

Bad experience. The owner of the home that we purchased said that he had them come and inspect the furnace and was told the that there was a 6 month warranty. The heater stopped working and I called them and was told it would cost $69 for a service call. After I insisted that I did not want to pay, they said they would waive it since we were 1st time customers. When the technician started working on the furnace, the screws were stripped and he had a difficult time opening the unit. I asked him why the prior technician did not open the furnace and inspect it. He said that it was a ""real estate"" inspection. It makes me wonder what he inspected. They had to put a $200 part that we had to pay for and said there was no warranty from the previous inspection and that they could not guaranty the work. I feel like the previous owner and ourselves were deceived by this company.

Horrible experience with this company.

My name is Michael and I NEVER review anyone, but felt the need here..

I'm a 51 year old man that is dying of bone cancer. I'm a hospice patient and cannot walk or leave my home.. I just got this house a few weeks ago and didn't realize the furnace was bad.. I'm freezing here, so I called right now heating and cooling.. Jeremiah came out very quickly and sat with me and my caregiver and we discussed it all. He checked my furnace, then said it was trashed and hardly working.. But told us they can indeed fix this issue for us with a brand new furnace.

We said ""great"" and were happy at this.. Jeremiah said there was NO WAY his boss would allow a disabled man to freeze to death with no heat like that.. He said we could get financing through their banks they deal with to get the loan for the furnace.. No problem Jeremiah told us.

After all, if we could get a home loan to buy an $85 thousand dollar home like we just did, then a $6,200 furnace would be a breeze.. He stated we would also need Intermountain Gas to come out and install a gas line to our home, and that he would talk to someone there about it and tell them we had no heat and it was an emergency.. (our other furnace is electric) He then left us to go to another persons house.

We then heard nothing the next day.. So we called them two days later, only to get a rude woman on the phone who stated we had been denied credit for some reason, but couldn't say why.. Strange, since we just bought a house and qualified with no problems at all..

She then got rude with us and hung up after I questioned the situation..

I'm a dying hospice patient.. I cannot even walk. And to be treated so badly by these people was horrible.. This woman was so cold, she makes an ice cube look warm by comparison.. There is simply no care at all.. Jeremiah made us tons of promises, then ducked out on us and wouldn't even return my call initially when we hadn't heard back from them. That's when I called the office and got the rude attitude from these people..

I then called two other companies that told me there is NO WAY that a furnace for this house costs $6,200.. The most it would cost is $3,000-$4,000 all day long.. I was being overcharged anyway they said..

The fact remains, that I am freezing to death in my home with no heat.. I'm dying as it is and have very little time left.. Can't I die in a warm home at least and be comfortable? Am I not entitled to that little thing in life? I worked hard all my life and now, I'm left to die like this?

Jeremiah said there was no way they would allow this to happen.. Guess what? It is happening.. I'm freezing to death here with no help from them.. And now I'm stuck with a gas line being installed that we cannot use..

Thank you so much ""Right now heating & cooling"".. You people have so much compassion, it is dripping out of you. But I'm sure you'll have some reason to try to justify your side of it to make yourselves look good..

Stay far away from these people.. They are very dishonest..

They will rip you off if they can. I got a text about an offer 22 point precision tune up for $49 just a couple days prior to noticing my air con was blowing warm air. The thermostat worked fine so I went out to see and the fan was not turning outside. So I texted them and asked if they could waive that fee because I have received mailers if other companies. They agreed to look at it for free. Christian was super nice and took out his machine to test the wires to the capacitor. Meanwhile I was explaining to him how I usually fix all my appliances myself using YouTube and ordering parts online. Without checking anything else he said the motor to the fan was out and had me feel that it was hot (it was just warm probably from the sun) and stayed that with time the whole thing would have to be replaced. He quoted me $1040. I asked what it would be to just replace the whole thing with a new one but couldn't quote me, saying supervisor would come to my home and quote me. I told him I would have to take to my husband and explain it all in Spanish. He was pushy about coming back out later that evening and if my husband was late getting off work his manager would wait at my house until he got home and that he would make sure he had a Spanish speaking tech. I told him to text me before he came out because I had to talk to my husband first. Meanwhile I had called another that a few ppl suggested and he opened up to see the capacitor and cabling. He said the cables have need switched around. I never told him about the tech from RIGHT NOW coming out earlier. So he checked and said his machine was telling him it was the capacitor but since the cables are switched let's connect them that way to show us the difference in the sound it made. So he installed the new capacitor and corrected the cabling and it worked perfectly!! So I got to thinking... the tech from RIGHT NOW switched the cables around so that if I tried to order the part and fix it myself it wouldn't work! Omg I can't believe how dishonest he was and tried to charge me $1040 when the guy from JC Appliance Repair charged me $180!! I wouldn't even give RIGHT NOW one star!!! I posted this on the Tvbs sales site and so many ppl commented on them also being ripped off or over charged quote.

I purchased an HVAC system from them for $17,500. They have been over a month for the installation with them showing up late for appointments or not showing up at all. There is more cold air leaking into my utility room where the main unit is than there is through the vents. The system has failed two state inspections from two different inspectors. They keep taping up the spots they think are leaking with aluminum tape and telling me that it's normal that it leaks. The inspector showed up today but the workers for right now did not. He stated that he has failed 4 of their systems just today. 3 hours after they were supposed to be here someone called me to see if they could come over in 5 minutes when I was on my way to a doctor appointment. I told him that the appointment was from 9-11 not 1:00 in the afternoon. He got snippy with me and said well this is the first I heard we had an appointment. Stay far far away from these people. I have already had to make the first payment for the home equity loan I used for this system and it's not even installed properly. The only positive thing about this company was the salesman Billy. He's a great salesman it's just too bad this company can't live up to what is promised.

I'd avoid these guys... their pricing is opaque and feels like a used car dealer. they charged me $370 for a $50 part & 30 minutes of labor (despite separately paying for a tune up)

Their pricing structure is based on just 7 prices no matter what the parts cost, so it seems like they're easily getting 5x the retail parts cost, never mind the labor cost.

They work hard to push to their review score by asking for good reviews (google doesn't allow asking for only good reviews ""review gating"" anymore, but they do it anyway)

Seems they spend their extra profit on ""reputation management"" to try and suppress negative reviews.

Do yourself a favor and get a SECOND and THIRD opinion... This company prays on people in emergencies with little time to decide.
All of the 5 star ratings with this company come because they pressure you to rate them right after their technician comes. Their technician does not try to sell you anything so they are easy to rate high... Ours was nice.
THEN their salesman comes and gives your a Doom and gloom story and tried to sell you a furnace that costs well over 10 grand.
We had them come and they told us that they were surprised that our furnace was even running and tried to sell is a furnace that cost 13 thousand.
We had 3 different companies come after them that didn't even recommend replacing our furnace. We still got bids from all of them and every single bid COST over 4 thousand less than Right Now Heating and Air. Even after comparing brand names/ furnace specs, making sure we were comparing apples to apples, they were WAY MORE EXPENSIVE than other local companies. We were even given a quote for a furnace that was considered nicer and more high end than the ones right now tried to sell us. That one was 4 thousand less.
The salesman from Right Now called back and I asked why I hadn't called him. He said that he would match our best offer. Sorry that's not the way I do business... The other companies started by giving me their best offer. No thanks Right Now! I will take my business elsewhere!

Always go with your gut, and always get a second opinion.

Sunday our AC went out so we called the sticker that was on the unit for Right Now Heating and Air Conditioning. They came out around 1pm and after looking at the unit for all of 5 minutes we were told our compressor was broken and our entire unit was shot. A new compressor costs around $5,000 so we are better off just getting an entirely new unit for $9,000. Also, it would be better to replace both the heating and ac at once and it would save a ton of money in the long run, so at $12,000 all in we would be good too go.

Needless to say, the tech was very pushy and really good at talking in circles. ""You won't get a better deal, They did not recommend financing it through a bank because their 10% interest rate would be impossible to beat. Other options are adding a solar fan, creating duel zones, bla bla bla... followed by, and this was my favorite..."" hay you need to sign right now, with the trade war these prices could double by tomorrow.

After the tech figured out I was not going to signup for anything he finished our paperwork. But, he threw in, ""I wrote down that we tried this, this and this. I know we did not try any of those things, but they won't work anyway and this is just protocol.

So I got a second opinion and after they did their inspection they figured out the compressor and AC unit was not broken at all. A small inexpensive part needed replacing and we were back up in minutes.

In a span of 2 hours, we went from no AC and a 12,000+ bill - to a fixed AC with no hassle and basically no bill.

If you use this company get a second oponion.

I don't enjoy having to write stuff like this, but I believe honesty is the best policy and that other people will benefit from hearing my experience.... This company has shown that they do not care for their customers and when they make a mistake they are not going to correct things. This company is ridiculous and I feel they are just in the business for another sale, not for providing services they are willing to stand behind. The first technician that came to our house gave a suggestion without explaining the risks that come with his temporary fix. We trusted his advice and as a result our AC unit was destroyed in under 24hrs, and now they want to charge us $2800 in parts. We count on professionals in this industry to give us good advice and this company did not provide that. They sent another tech out the next day who told me he would not have recommended or done what the original tech did. This company is now not willing to do more than refund the original $185 they charged us after advice the original tech they sent out gave us resulted in much more in damages and a completely useless unit.
