Tried to give them my business twice. They will pick the phone up but man do they charge you for it! Tried to use these guys during a bathroom remodel, but technician told me he had to charge me another trip bc I needed faucet extensions for my granite countertops and he had to go 7 miles to get them. I decline, called a competitor and they came out and set me up ...never mentioned anything about extensions etc. two years later still no issues. Just completed a kitchen remodel and contractor hit a pipe in wall with screw. Saturday morning called and they sent a technician out (after I sent pictures etc) technician said it was going to cost $1800!!!! I declined. He then came back in from his truck said he could do it for $1000. I declined again. He charged me the trip fee of $65. Called a competitor and they came out that evening. Took them 2 hours and $675, I repeat ... $675 later. Issue fixed. This company will answer their phone but be ready to get into your deep deep pocket.

Amazing gentlemen and did a superior job in a very brief time, repairing our main water line! Time, age and a less than standard repair done years ago by unknown person resulted in a huge problem that happened to strike us on a weekend. The response was very quick and they did a fantastic job both with the repair and helping me with a few other items to make my life easier in the future. Very kind, considerate and knowledgeable. I called Rick's on Sunday and they were out on early Monday hooking up my new hot water heater. Randy was unbelievably awesome and was absolutely perfessial and knowledgeable! I had a previous OK experience with Rick's Plumbing but last Saturday they sent over a Plumber that totally ripped us off. I was hooking up a bidet attachment with universal fittings. I had a small leak and am not good with teflon tape. Anyway this guy insisted that my connectors were wrong and he also replaced the flushing system inside the toilet. By the time he left he handed me a $300 invoice and also said that because I still had customer provided pieces that he couldn't guarantee that the toilet wouldn't leak. I complained to the main office but they ignored me

I have used Ricks for both small and larger projects. I had a flange break to the point the pipe bent so they had to remove the concrete foundation to replace it. They se set the foundation more level than is was before so the new toilet would sit more flush to the floor. It was done very quick only taking half a day.
A few months later I had an unrelated blockage during the weekend. The total cost was about 170 which included the non business hours charge and weekend rate. The plumber arrived quickly after the call was placed. And did not take long to remove the roots blocking the line. He then explained the options I had going forward to fix the problem before the roots regrew and blocked the line again.
Both plumbers were quick and knowledgeable. They were respectful of my dog and house. They are not the cheapest but I trust them to get the job done the first time.

Get a quote first even if you have used Rick's for ages and ages.

I have used Rick's for the last 4, almost 5 years in spite of the fact they are typically priced a little higher than other plumbers in town. They have always done a solid job for me and are always available but their prices have gone way up to the point of being ridiculous.

My usual, yearly sewer line clean out rate (never more than $180) doubled this time. They claimed it was because they raised their rates but also cleaned the line to my garage apartment and that was a second line.

They had always cleaned that line before because it's all on the same line and the rate was still under $180.

They did come down on the price after I called the office but it was still way over priced. Main Sewer line clean out is quoted at $250, the branch clean out to my garage apartment is quoted at $175.

The original quote given was
$593 for 90 min of work, sewer line and branch line clean-out and toilet pull & reset.

I will no longer be using Rick's Plumbing Services nor can I recommend them.

This company is wonderful! They answer the phone and come out when they say they will. All employees are friendly and do their job well. Everything was fixed very fast and they help deal with your insurance company. I wont use anyone else.

They came out and give me a free estimate for 2 small gas leaks, both men were polite, quick and professional, price was reasonable! The young lady's who help schedule were helpful.. like any job times can get busy but otherwise they follow up and do their best thank you for your help!!!
