I am actually writing this review just as they are leaving because I am so impressed by them! I needed a plummer because I smelled something damp in my new home. The crew searched everywhere and found a couple of sources. They fixed everything.
Rick brought a team of young men who are just awesome. I thought that they were trainees - and I was cool with that. I am an educator and a mom, so I love that idea. But they all had a job to do and were incredibly efficient and knowledgeable.
He has indeed trained them, but they seemed competent enough to be on their own (maybe? He would know). I appreciate how they have used shoe covers every time they came back into the house (as well as masks). Great work. And bless Rick for the training he does!

Highly recommended! Rick and his crew are knowledgeable and professional. We were desperate after my husband tried to fix our leaky shower pipe. (Lord help me) They showed up within 30 min of calling, caped off the leak so we could continue to have water until they could order the parts and come back to fix the next day. They were quick, clean and so incredibly nice!

For those who live in Alameda, this should be your first call for any plumbing needs. Rick showed up within 30 minutes, figured out the issue and fixed it up one hour later. Extremely responsive and courteous!

Very pleased with the service! They came to the house and fixed our maintenance request. when we threw in some extra requests last minute they were able to fix all our plumbing concerns. I got a call, voicemail and a follow up text to make sure that I was contacted in a convenient way and very promptly. They came in and out in a quick 45 minutes and were very accommodating to our later work schedules. They both had positive attitudes and were very covid safe!

Loved that they showed up in a mask. They were professional and kind. They fixed three drains, a toilet, and a shower quickly. I did not time them but they were sure out in a flash. Hire them! You will be happy you did. Great service.

I have to take a moment to sing the praises of this excellent company. It's not often that you encounter someone in the trades that has the level of honesty, integrity and professionalism that Rick from Rick's plumbing has. In this time of contractors bilking as much as they can get away with for each job, it is refreshing to see a company that has a heart and truly cares about helping their customer. This is a smart way of doing business, that considers the long view rather than the fast buck. As a result, I am certain this business will thrive with repeat customers for years to come. The owner Rick has a strong sense of community with a sincere commitment to helping people in need of plumbing services quickly and efficiently without charging exorbitant rates. In addition his staff is just as amazing. They are respectful, pleasant and kind which makes it a comfortable experience having them in your home. I had a mysterious leak in my upstairs shower that was dripping through the ceiling. I had multiple service calls from other companies and no one could figure out the cause. I had been given estimates as high as 10k to completely tear out the shower, replace the shower pan and re tile. Gary, one of Ricks employees came out and had the patience and determination to spend time doing multiple tests. He even let me take a shower while he watched the ceiling for leaks. After running multiple tests he finally pin pointed the problem which ended up being easily remedied. Alvictor was also extremely helpful in getting this job done at a very minimal cost. I could have easily been taken advantage of in this situation but Rick's plumbing genuinely cared that I had the assistance I needed to keep my home in good repair. I have three tenants in my home that need to share that shower and I had no idea what I was going to do if I continued to have problems with this mysterious leak. I was very stressed about the possibility of loosing tenants and much needed income over all this. In addition to the shower problem my water heater conked out on me. I contacted Rick, in the morning and by that afternoon, I had a new water heater installed! He said "" you gotta have hot water!"". Rick's plumbing most definitely came to the rescue on both occasions. Great people that truly care about their customers and servicing their community. I highly recommend them for both big and small jobs.

I had Rick and his crew over earlier this year for a leaking copper line in my garage. Rick gave me a very great price I could not pass on. Him and his crew completed the work in a very timely manner and the work looked much better than the work that was completed by another plumber years back. Highly recommend calling Rick for an plumbing needs!

Got an appointment within 24 hours. Team (two very polite young men) came on time, worked very hard, did not upsell. I have a very old house and the plumbing is kind of hinky but they fixed everything, even though it required them going to a hardware store to find appropriate fixtures because of the age of the set-up. Very fair rates. Professional services. I will definitely call them again.
