These guy thought it would be okay to throw away their trash in my trash can when they weren't even doing work on my property. They were working on my neighbor's home. I watched them walk over to my trash, stuff my full trash can down(so now it's not going to empty because it's all jammed), and throw their nasty plumbing trash on top. Now I just walked out to my trash to try and fix it so it will empty when the trash truck comes... And maggots were crawling out of their trash... I'm blown away. Absolutely disgusted. I will be telling my property manager who contracts with this company. Hopefully they look into getting a new plumber.

I'm still giving them (Rick's team) a 5 star even though the wre a little late and didn't warn me.

That said, I had a clogged kitchen sink and a difficult setup. They went at it several ways and got it cleaned are running, probably better than it's ever run for many years. The didn't just get it moving, which I've had happen before because of the configuration of my pipes. They did the job right! It took a little over an hour. I definately recommend them.

the most unprofessional service i have ever received, to the point that i now question the veracity of his other yelp reviews. i rarely use yelp but wanted to help inform others who are considering using his services. would not commit to a time to meet and vague about whether he was willing to work on the issue the same day. after arriving, he was unable to identify a simple leak in a sink, and promised to give estimates for other work to be done.

the estimate never came, and when i followed up on it he said he did not have time and to ask again. when i called again, he again did not have an estimate and said he was 'busy', but again promised to give an estimate. throughout the whole ordeal, he was completely unapologetic and made excuses.

in the end, we never got an estimate, and my husband who has NO plumbing knowledge whatsoever was able to identify and fix the leak.

We are from out of the area, but are visiting our daughter and son-in-law on Alameda Island. We had a backed-up kitchen drain on Friday morning with a kids' birthday party scheduled for the next day.. HELP! I called Rick and, fortunately, he was able to come do the job right away. His quoted price seemed fair. He and his assistants were very personable and polite. They worked quickly and professionally to clear the drain. He installed a clean-out fitting to make future maintenance less of a problem. He then pointed out some other pipe routing that he had noticed and explained why it may lead to future problems. I had him fix that as well. He ran into unexpected problems (the house is 100 years old) and had to do extra work, but said he would not charge any extra. Neat, tidy, quick and professional quality work. Highly recommended!

Rick and his assistant were able to clear by severely clogged kitchen sink in about an hour. They even updated my old metal pipes to make the plumbing current to today's standards. I was very happy with the work they did. He answered all of my questions and gave me preventative maintenance tips to avoid any future problems. The price was reasonable and less expensive than other plumbers I called. I would call him again if I ever have any trouble.

Just wonderful... I found Rick here on Yelp and I have not been sorry. I have a rental property in Alameda and since I live in San Jose, I really need a good, responsive, and reasonably priced plumber I can trust. Rick is all that and more. Very easy to deal with as he is willing to quickly communicate with the tenant to schedule a visit ASAP and has been very willing to accommodate their schedule, even if it means coming in the evening.

after visiting the site to review the problem, I waited a month and called three times trying to get his estimate. After a month he referred me to another plumber who he said would have to come out and look that the site and review the problem.
