Called several plumbers today, they either didn't answer or were booked through the weekend.

I received a referral for Rick's by another plumber and quickly found his number online. He answered even though he was on the job and deployed a technician in the time promised.

What was even more impressive was Anthony, who was polite, made sure the issue was resolved by testing several times and then had me confirm to ensure my satisfaction. He made sure not to drip on my floors and remembered a piece of the project was incomplete, really minor, but he made the effort to call to tie up his loose end.

Straightforward, reasonable pricing, excellent service and great workmanship. Personal checks only.

We were having serious water problems. I called and within an hour Rick and his crew were at the house. They identified the problem and fixed it in no time.

They all were very professional, curtious and respected our space, even helped clean up the mess caused by the problem.

The hot water in my bathroom sink would not shut off even after closing the valve under the sink. I called multiple plumbers no one was available. Finally called Rick and he was able to stop by within about 15 min between jobs and he and his assistants were to be able to get it fixed quickly. Thank you!

Called Rick in the morning about my busted water heater. He came over and took a look, gave me a price that was literally half of what some others had quoted, and returned later in the day with the new water heater. By dinner time, we had hot water, the old one was hauled away, and all was right in the world. Will definitely be calling Rick in the future for all my plumbing needs.

My property management company put me in contact with Rick's Plumbing when I heard very loud gurgling noises coming from the toilet in my apartment. The toilet had stopped flushing (plunging didn't help), and neither the sink nor tub were draining. I spoke with Rick on the phone and we scheduled and appointment for the next morning. He was very friendly and considerate enough to offer to make me his first appointment since I needed to get to work in the city.

Later that day the line from the apartment above me broke, and a horrible mess ended up in my bathtub (I'm grateful that's the only place it showed up and nothing was leaking through the ceiling). Rick tried to call me after he got the call from the upstairs tenant. He left a voicemail because I was in a meeting. He then called my property manager and got the key to my place. When I got home, the bathroom was cleaner than it was when I left it that morning. Rick did a spectacular job cleaning up what must have been a very unpleasant mess.

The reason I wanted to be home for the appointment originally was because before I moved into this apartment, I'd read on the Yelp page for my property management company that one of their workman had let a pet out even though tenant specifically asked them to be aware and keep the door shut. Apparently their pet did get out and they didn't know about it until they got home. I was being over cautious because of this. When I learned that Rick was already in my apartment and called him, he couldn't have been more understanding. He may have thought I was a crazy cat lady, but was polite and kind. When I got home my cat was safe and sound.

Great service, friendly person, and kind to little old ladies and their cats. Thank you Rick!

Great service at a competitive price. They were a little late but it was an emergency same day appointment so I don't fault them for it. Highly recommended.

These guy thought it would be okay to throw away their trash in my trash can when they weren't even doing work on my property. They were working on my neighbor's home. I watched them walk over to my trash, stuff my full trash can down(so now it's not going to empty because it's all jammed), and throw their nasty plumbing trash on top. Now I just walked out to my trash to try and fix it so it will empty when the trash truck comes... And maggots were crawling out of their trash... I'm blown away. Absolutely disgusted. I will be telling my property manager who contracts with this company. Hopefully they look into getting a new plumber.

I'm still giving them (Rick's team) a 5 star even though the wre a little late and didn't warn me.

That said, I had a clogged kitchen sink and a difficult setup. They went at it several ways and got it cleaned are running, probably better than it's ever run for many years. The didn't just get it moving, which I've had happen before because of the configuration of my pipes. They did the job right! It took a little over an hour. I definately recommend them.

the most unprofessional service i have ever received, to the point that i now question the veracity of his other yelp reviews. i rarely use yelp but wanted to help inform others who are considering using his services. would not commit to a time to meet and vague about whether he was willing to work on the issue the same day. after arriving, he was unable to identify a simple leak in a sink, and promised to give estimates for other work to be done.

the estimate never came, and when i followed up on it he said he did not have time and to ask again. when i called again, he again did not have an estimate and said he was 'busy', but again promised to give an estimate. throughout the whole ordeal, he was completely unapologetic and made excuses.

in the end, we never got an estimate, and my husband who has NO plumbing knowledge whatsoever was able to identify and fix the leak.
