Steven (or Steve) came into my home and took every precaution possible to prevent any spread of COVID. Steven was so personable and kind the entire visit. He snaked my drain a total of 4-5 times, and ensured that it was clear before he began packing up and preparing for payment. He also cleaned the entire area so well!! Thank you so much for the dedication and attention to detail!

I have know idea if this business does good work or not. What I do know is that they call 30 minutes before their scheduled time slot to cancel. I will not be using this company in the future I will not recommend anyone else to use either. Zero stars, the app makes you choose at least one.

I had these people here in less than an hour for half the money than others. Did what they said and were done fast. Thank you Kesa you were professional and a gentleman. I would all you request you personally. Thanks again. Kesa.

Very fast response time, efficient and friendly service. We encountered a plumbing fiasco on Thanksgiving weekend and they were able to address our problem while other plumbers said they were too busy. Tyson was our plumber. He quickly assessed the situation and replaced our bathroom hot/cold intake lines. We couldn't be more grateful for his service. Thank you!!

I live in a charming old building complete with charming old plumbing from 1927.
My hot water pressure in my shower was almost down to a mere trickle. If I didn't do something immediately I would be stuck bathing. I called Rescue Rooter in the afternoon and had a plumber at my place by 3:00 pm. He took a look and told me it was a faulty valve. He told me if I knew how to shut the water off he could fix it immediately. I didn't know how to shut the water off and he left me with an estimate of $400.00. He called me back two days later with a different estimate. This time I was quoted $1200.00 due to the age of my building. I declined his services.
I told my dad about this. My dad happens to be pretty handy and said he would take a look. I had to get permission from the HOA for a water shut off notice. My neighbor was to show my dad how to shut off the water.
We described the problem to my neighbor and he told my dad the problem was as simple as taking off the hot water knob and cleaning it out. The water never needed to be shut off. No valves needed to be replaced. The entire repair took less than 15 minutes and didn't cost me $1200.00.
I would caution anyone in need of plumbing services to steer clear of the shysters at Rescue Rooter.

Not happy with them at all. Booked an appointment a week our, then called them the day of the appointment and they had decided they were too busy and decided not to take the job after all?! They weren't even going to call and cancel, pretty amazing.
Extremely unprofessional business, I'll be boycotting them for life for standing me up.

We were given a window of 8:00 to 12:00 and they finally called at 1:30 to say they'd be to us in an hour. They were here at 2:30. My wife called based on an advertised drain clearing price of less than $100.00 (unbeknownst to me.) When they arrived the price was presented to me as either $598.00 or, $429.00 depending on whether or, not we wanted the clearing of the drain to be guaranteed for 12 months instead of only 3months. To replace the plastic P Trap from the sink to the wall was $239.00. They were in and out in well under an hour. Can't recommend.

We are rural and have a septic tank which backed up on a Saturday. Called our ""regular"" maintenance guy who was unavailable. So, we called this company who came out promptly and fixed the problem. Thank you for that. However...the pipe leading from the house to the tank is ancient and has needed replaced for years, so we figured it was time. They gave us an estimate for $10,000.
In the meantime, we called our regular guy, ""Drain Doctor"", who came out and gave us an estimate of between $3500 and $4500 to do the same job. He has always done very good work over the years.
So get a second opinion, before the Doctor retires. He said that no one except for the Rescue Rooters/big companies are interested in his very lucrative (if unpleasant) business. That much of a discrepancy in estimates is unacceptable.

They wanted to charge me $1800 to repair broken PVC close to where the water meter is. Major ripoff.

Beware! PLEASE READ THIS AND VIEW THE PHOTOS ATTACHED BEFORE USING RESCUE-ROOTER (Specifically the Clackamas Oregon branch). I can't believe the nightmare that Rescue-Rooter put us through. They will walk away from your home leaving you with a FAILED inspection. Please keep reading...unfortunately this review gives you limited characters to use so i cannot fully give all the details of the story.
Beware of Dave and Christopher and pretty much anyone from the Clackamas Oregon branch.
Rescue-Rooter did a pressure test on our new sewer line that they installed while we were at work. When they did this it erupted sewage all over our bathroom. Sewage was all over the sink, walls, ceiling (it was nearly impossible to get the sewage stains off of our ceiling) and sewage water was left to soak into our floors all day. We had to replace our floors, re-paint and replace all towels, mats everything, ourselves. It was like pulling teeth to get Rescue-Rooter to cut us a check for the damages they did. And on top of that Dave and Christopher tried to blame us for everything. It is disturbing the lack of respect they have. And this isn't even the last of it...
6 month later I receive a letter in the mail from the county (picture of letter is attached) stating that the permit that Rescue-Rooter pulled to replace the sewer lines on our property was about to expire and that it has not met all inspection approvals. I contact the county and they confirm that the final inspection was failed, due to the line was installed not to code and that we will be penalized if it is not corrected before the permit expires or we file an extension.
I then speak to the inspector that was on our site and he point blank told me that he informed Rescue-Rooter that he would fail our inspection. Neither Dave or Christopher informed us of any of this. This was their responsibility. I couldn't believe I actually had to speak to these people from Rescue-Rooter again.
I contact the Clackamas Oregon branch of Rescue-Rooter. I was laughed at, hung up on, they refused to speak to me and not one single person helped me. I am disturbed by how heartless these people are. from the receptionist to the General Managers.
I had to contact corporate to actually get them to do anything.
Janice from the Corporate office of Rescue-Rooter was very kind and she was able to calm me down. She was the one that pulled the strings to get our inspection approved.
Long story short. Please i am advising all of you, please take my advice, do not use Rescue-Rooter.
