I was very happy with the work they did in my kitchen. They changed the main pipes, which I thought would be a huge project. But they made it look easy and also met the deadline we had. The result turned out to be great. No leaks and no issues with the water pressure anymore. I was really worried before they started but I got really happy with the result. They did a clean job and when they left my house it looked like this issue has never existed. I would definitely hire them again.

First of all, I would say that like most of the low ratings given here, the bad experience was not with the actual re-piping. After five leaks in four years we too bit the bullet and forked out our savings as our house was just outside the statute of limitations to sue the builder, for which I hope all those homes in Ladera Ranch that have recently won their lawsuit will take heed and either select separate contractors that actually specializes in their job or avoid this one altogether.
Once the contract was signed they were quick to get the permit and work started about a week later. The plumbing crew was in at 8am and finished all of their work that day. They had not cleaned up the best as they did not completely protect everything. Inspection was the next day and we had a few days to make the proper corrections. After the work was signed off the drywall crew had come in and patched the stucco, walls and ceilings and began texturing everything. This group was better at protection but still had a bit of cleanup.
I let everything cure and called them back two days later to make the walls better not really paying attention to the ceiling. After looking at the ceilings again, we realize how patchy they were. They did a terrible/horrendous job of trying to blend all of our ceilings. So they sent out their B-team who did the original job to look at it. He agreed with me that it looked like shite and scheduled a day to come out that same week.
The crew came out (two guys) and began taping off the walls with orange tape and plastic. When I returned from work they had left already. The tape had pulled off the paint finish from all around our walls exposing primer. Worse, the ceiling had left a reflective finish so anytime you walk in a room there is light reflecting off each textured area that continually draws your eyes to the ceiling looking even crappier.
I called them up again and they sent their ""A-team"" to look at the job (at least they agreed to do that). This time they had to do a skim coat throughout the whole ceiling in each room. We scheduled a day and time to do it. When that day came no one showed up. I called their office and they said that they were still finishing another job (thanks for notifying me so I wouldn't waste my time!). So we rescheduled the following week. The crew came out (this time about six guys) and spent the day on the job. This time it did look a little better with the finish but the quality was not there.
Repipe 1 is not a drywall contractor, save your headache and have a real professional do that work. Better yet, try Repipe Specialists, everyone that has used them that I spoke to has had very little issues in comparision. There is no 100% satisfaction from this customer.

I used Repipe1 for a more intense job and from start to end, they were awesome. They have competent and very friendly workers and met my schedule very nicely. Everything got fixed, No leaks, no runs, no drips. They did a great job.

Ok, so I am a plumber also but live in the Pacific NW. Needed a re pipe on a home that my aunt owned and she passed away so we could sell it. This company is the best! Especially Greg! Came out quickly gave a very fair price and did the work right away. They also did the sheet rock repairs. I always thought most reviews on Yelp were family members of the company but this one is not! Five Stars!

In the process of having my home re piped right now. During this process the water heater started leaking. The re pipe one tech who was on the property was incredibly helpful and offered to install a new water heater for free. I called re pipe one's office to let them know about the water heater and proceeded to deal with an extremely unhelpful individual who was very defensive and kept repeating that the water heater breaking was not their fault and happens often during a re pipe (I wish someone would have told me). I explained that all I wanted was the install of the water heater and I would purchase a new one. The company rep kept repeating that the water heater breaking was not their fault and was unable to process any sort of additional information other then its not their fault. I am not upset about the water heater breaking, I am upset that they said they would do the install and now have gone back on their word. When everything goes right it is easy to get a five star review but the important thing is how do you treat your customers when things go wrong. In this case they failed completely and I would highly recommend anyone reading this to choose a different company.

These guys know what they are doing... I had another company doing the repiping job at my house and it didn't go well. They caused a lot of damages. Then I called Repipe1 and they finished the job in 4 days and fixed all the issues, and we have not had any issues since then. They worked very professional.

I had two leaks in 3 months. My house was only 25 years old but had thin copper pipes. A plumber told me that Repipe 1 does a lot of repiping in the Torrance/South Bay area. I was given what seemed like a reasonable estimate. They also had decent online reviews so I decided to go with them for a PEX repipe.

The plumbing portion of the repipe job took one day. At the end of the day I inspected their work. I found that a load-bearing stud had been completely cut in half. I noticed another load bearing stud was excessively notched where it met the top plate. On top of that I found that there were dissimilar metals in contact with some of the copper pipes. I asked the plumber in charge about the structural damage and he said it was not problem. I was enraged but didn't say anything.

The house of course failed rough inspection for the things I pointed out. In addition I noticed they ran PEX piping very close to and probably touching recessed light cans...which they shouldn't do based on manufacturer's recommendations. The inspector missed that but I made them fix it.

It took several days before they could send a carpenter out to sister the studs and fix the other plumbing issues.

It finally passed rough inspection. The stucco/drywall people were great and I have no complaints with their work.

I would not recommend repipe 1 to a friend.

They were responsive when I had a complaint, which is the only reason I didn't give them a one star rating. But I can't get over how they damaged my studs and routed my pipes near the recessed light cans. Also, they didn't even bother to cover up the exterior wall openings with anything while waiting for inspection/stucco repair...I had to do it myself!

I will say that they used quality parts...although some were installed inappropriately. They also installed a pressure regulator and an expansion tank. The regulator was set at 50psi. The expansion tank pressure is supposed to be the same as the water pressure...but was only 40 psi. I adjusted it myself.

The best plumbing company I ever worked with. They were very responsive and clean with their work. I haven't had any issues since last month they did the repiping.

Repipe1 did the whole work from repair to restoration for my house.
Everything went great and the price was much cheaper than other price quotes I got from other companies. Customer service was great and the project manager supervised the whole thing from A to Z and they met their deadline for the project, as they should. Thank you for all of your help.
