Our mission is to offer you a complete handyman solution. As a start-up in our region, we saw an opportunity for reliable craftsmanship, and we are eager to meet that demand. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, I have gained experience with top construction firms nationwide, and I am applying that experience to my new company. I look forward to the opportunity to showcase what we can achieve.

I began my journey right after high school in 1990. Thanks to my education, I was able to obtain my first role with a construction business in Greenville, SC, and from that experience, I continued my education and ascended in my career. I later secured a position with a major global construction company, where I held the position of Foreman until the pandemic brought everything to a standstill. I realized this was an opportune moment to explore new paths. Having seen friends face challenges in finding trustworthy workers for their homes, and going through the same challenges, the idea struck me to utilize my skills and launch Rent A Guy Upstate with my daughter and youngest son. As of March 1, 2022, we have been in operation for 10 days. During this brief period, we have completed 5 or 6 successful projects, and we are diligently tackling our biggest challenge yet—advertising.
