Highly not recommend. The hot water in my apartment shower is not working. My building manager said I might have problem with the mixing valve. He referred 3 plumbers to me and I picked Renstrom cause Chris answered my phone. I told him the problem and he said the charge will be around $260 plus parts. He send someone over in next 2 days, came around 9am, removed the mixing valve, said he need to go buy the part, came back replaced it and somehow said my whole shower unit has failed. Even damaged the new part ($160). He forgot a tool and called another plumber to bring it over and help work on the job. Conclusion: Charged me 4.5 hr work ($605 labor) plus $160 part (they damaged it), total $765 for NOTHING done, not able to fix anything!! At that time, the plumber said they charge $750 to change a new shower unit, but minus $200 if I have them come back and do the job. I talked to Chris again and he quoted me $1150 (labor only) not $550 his plumber told me. I researched on Yelp and found another plumber, Aquastar. They came with 2 people and replaced a new unit (I bought the unit myself) for $600 in less than 3 hours. So I will not work with Renstrom again or refer them to any of friends. Not reliable and very expensive!!

Don't waste your time with other plumbers. Great work, reasonable prices, no joke!
Responded immediately and took care of problem immediately. Combination of old school experience and modern tools. Feel fortunate to have found these guys!

Got referred to Renstrom through Cole Hardware (fantastic referral service, as well!). Chris actually called me BEFORE I even had a chance to call him! He sent Mark out within only a few hours of our initial phonecall, and even called several times to make sure that Mark had gotten there and that the work was done to my satisfaction. Turns out that I had ordered the wrong part to replace my tub spout/shower diverter, but Mark luckily had the required spout in his truck, along with a new showerhead which he discovered needed replacement as well. He was done in less than an hour (it would have been less than 30 minutes had I not sent him to his truck twice for parts!), was friendly, professional and explained everything he was doing and why. I will certainly be using Renstrom in the future!!!!

First - I love the Cole Hardware referral service. They were the ones who sent me to Renstrom. If you ever need someone to refer you to a great contractor, use Cole.
Second - Renstrom Plumbing rocks. They responded immediately, provided a plumber in less than an hour, and did the work quickly, expeditiously, and at a totally reasonable price. If you ever need plumbing, go with them.

Fantastic plumbing company! Chris Renstrom responded immediately to my call to have an apparently very complicated leak located and diagnosed. He pinpointed the problem immediately and provided me with a realistic timetable and estimate, outlining exactly what needed to be done (scope of work included replacing leaking old pipe behind the ceiling and an upholstered silk wall). In addition, his men tackled other problems around the house that were outside of the project scope, and proved to be honest, efficient and competent. There were no dirty smudges, footprints or any messes left behind and I felt comfortable having his crew in my home. Renstrom Plumbing is my new go-to team for any plumbing issue.

Got a recommendation to use Rengstrom from my contractor. We had 3 plumbers out to diagnose a problem and only these guys were able to identify it successfully. The work they did was professional, great communication, stayed on schedule. They informed me of other potential issues unrelated to the problem they were solving and educated me on how to fix those should they become a problem in the future.

Outstanding service! 2 Other Plumbing companies failed, but Stephen & Ray figured it out. I was facing $4k and they got it done for $550. They were very careful and worked very well as a team and discussed, explained, and came up with several options to try and minimize the cost. I had caused my own problem and actually had wedged my 1/4 inch snake underground in the two inch pipe and it was looking like only a jackhammer would get to it. They got it right. I would highly recommend Renstrom to others!

I live in a 1903 SF house and needed to replace the tankless water heaters in both flats. I contacted Renstrom and contracted to have them install 2 state-of-fhe-art tankless water heaters. The tiny spaces and the minefield of peculiarities in the house seemed to me formidable. I was fortunate enough to have Steve and his sidekick Ray to do the job. Steve supervised the job, and both men worked non-stop with perfectionist attitudes and did a super job, despite the fact that anything that could go wrong because of the old house did go wrong. Steve and Ray were a pleasure to have around, and I felt their workmanship, their punctuality, their dedication to doing everything absolutely to the best of their superlative ability, and the all-around great job made my choice of Renstrom about the best decision I've made in a long time. Their prices are competetive, and I have nothing but praise for my experience with these folks.
