I made an appointment on Tuesday for Renstrom Plumbing to come between 8-9am on Friday.They didn't arrive between 8-9am, and still hadn't arrived by 10am. I called at 10, but no one answered so I left a message. I had taken part of the morning off to meet them and had to take even longer off. After repeated attempts to call and leave messages, they still hadn't arrived or called me back by 12, or 2 or 5 or 7pm!! I ended up taking the entire day off from work and they NEVER ARRIVED THE ENTIRE DAY, AND NEVER CALLED ME BACK. Don't waste you time!

It was a complex problem that got more difficult as they found the leak and planned the fix. Chris and his crew were great about communicating the challenges as the happened, providing me with the available options, estimating the costs and benefits of each option, and taking action quickly once I made the decision. They managed my expectations well throughout the repair, which showed their professionalism and respect for the customer.

I had a problem with running water in the tank of my toilet. It would not stop. I called Renstrom Plumbing and Chris actually asked me a couple of questions to determine what the problem was. He diagnosed it and told me to try one of two things before he made the service call. I did what he said and it worked! I was very impressed with his willingness to ask a couple of questions to see if a service call was really necessary. I think most plumbers would have come out and charged me to fix a minor problem. I will definitely keep their number handy!!

After complaining about Renstrom Plumbing in this review last month, I wanted to update our service history with them as they stepped up and completed the job. We are now completely satisfied even though the project took much longer than anticipated, and communications was not always the best. To refresh, these guys had been working on a hot water shower problem for three-four months, resulting in the replacement of our hot water heater, shower cartridges and in-wall plumbing. Everything now is working fine and we have hot water galore!

Very, very good experience. Responsive, experienced and solved a big problem. It took some detective work to discover the problem in the labyrinth of external buried pipes, but toilets and showers are clear and major, muddy back up in external drains is gone. Renstrom Plumbing is the first place I will call for any future problems.

Highly not recommend. The hot water in my apartment shower is not working. My building manager said I might have problem with the mixing valve. He referred 3 plumbers to me and I picked Renstrom cause Chris answered my phone. I told him the problem and he said the charge will be around $260 plus parts. He send someone over in next 2 days, came around 9am, removed the mixing valve, said he need to go buy the part, came back replaced it and somehow said my whole shower unit has failed. Even damaged the new part ($160). He forgot a tool and called another plumber to bring it over and help work on the job. Conclusion: Charged me 4.5 hr work ($605 labor) plus $160 part (they damaged it), total $765 for NOTHING done, not able to fix anything!! At that time, the plumber said they charge $750 to change a new shower unit, but minus $200 if I have them come back and do the job. I talked to Chris again and he quoted me $1150 (labor only) not $550 his plumber told me. I researched on Yelp and found another plumber, Aquastar. They came with 2 people and replaced a new unit (I bought the unit myself) for $600 in less than 3 hours. So I will not work with Renstrom again or refer them to any of friends. Not reliable and very expensive!!

Don't waste your time with other plumbers. Great work, reasonable prices, no joke!
Responded immediately and took care of problem immediately. Combination of old school experience and modern tools. Feel fortunate to have found these guys!
