My visit was for my semi-annual AC check-up. Brahim is a wonderful technician! He explained everything to me, and was very thorough with his job! I am going to always ask for Brahim every time that I need service! Brahim is a wonderful person. C. O'Kelley

After over twenty-five years, two homes, a whole house redo, today I was shocked and dissappointed at the horrible customer service. I used to pay roughly $280 a year for twice yearly maintenance. I was told that by paying $29.99 a month I would get maintenance and lower repair cost. This I did starting last October, I believe. Today, I was informed that was only for one system. Why would I choose to pay more than I was for only one system after 25 yrs? My fault. I trusted them. Should have read the fine print closer. I guess a good lesson for senior citizens and prior service people is not to trust them. Shame too, because I always have liked their techs. I guess anymore we need to hire attorneys so we don't get taken. But as I should have know...buyer beware.

Our technician Kirk is always very reliable, friendly and courteous. I appreciate him not trying to sell me a replacement filter when it was not needed.....honesty goes along way. We have our semi annual maintenance completed. Reliable replaced our entire heating and air system 4-5 years ago with a high efficiency. Best decision we ever made. Our highest electric bill has not topped $180 in the summer and we keep it set on FROSTBITE......beats a $400 - 500 Summer bill. We had a computer board go bad last year, and reliable repaired/replace and stood behind their lifetime warranty because we maintain an annual maintenance contract with them.....no charge!

I am sad to see all of the negative reviews for Reliable. Many people will take the time to write negative reviews but rarely review their positive experiences. Our AC unit went out in August and we had 4 companies come out. The first one was sent through the warranty company and never even gave us a quote- they just told us that our unit was old (prior to the 410 units) and would need to be replaced (or would be very expensive to repair IF we could find someone to do it.) The 2nd company came out and said they would fix it at cost but then said it was old and they could only replace it and it would cost """"around $6000 and they didn't know when they could get to it."""" The 3rd company came out and, after arriving late, the salesman mentioned several times that he was salary and I translated that into """"unmotivated."""" It took a considerable amount of time, in my opinion, for him to come up with a quote, and then when he went over it with me, there was an entire folder of paperwork to review. My patience was already short with the heat and this did not help. Turned out that they wanted to sell us a furnace and an AC for $9000 after I had already been told by the previous 2 companies that our furnace was in good shape, so that was an immediate red flag. When I finally contacted Reliable, they fit me in the same day. We already knew we were going to have to replace the unit since the cost of repairing (and turn-around time) didn't make sense. The salesman (Joe) was on time, very courteous, and did not waste my time. He quoted me for exactly what we needed and also recommended that we get our circuit board replaced due to its age (and potential for failure) but it did not necessarily need to be replaced right now. The price was very reasonable compared to the other companies and the warranty was better. After we decided to go with Reliable, I contacted Joe back directly (which was also nice, considering that many times you can't get a hold of the same person at a company anymore) and he made time to fit me in on a Sunday to sign the paperwork. Then he had us set up the following day (Monday) for service between 9-10. The following day, the tech called at 8a to tell me he was running a few minutes behind, to which I remarked that I wasn't expecting him until 9 anyway, so no problem there. He showed up 20 min later to begin the work, advising me that the reason he was late was due to his assistant not coming in that morning, so he was working by himself. At first, I was a little concerned because he was replacing the entire unit by himself, but he went to work and I returned to my work upstairs. Around 1p, he said he was done. I was amazed! He had completed the work outside (I could already tell because the air was working again), replaced two thermostats, as well as our circuit board in the attic in 5 hours, and this was without easy access to our backyard since we live in a townhouse. We have not had any issues with our new system since it has been installed. I also feel like I need to add that both the salesman and the technician wore boot covers and masks every time they were here. My parents have also used Reliable for years and remain happy with their service. Bottom line is that they did exactly what they said they would do, they showed up on time (even early), accomplished the installation with one technician, and the price was on point with what was expected. These are tough qualities to find in most service companies these days, so I am very glad that we decided to call them.

I called about a unit they previously installed. The reliable employee did a ten minute diagnostic to tell me the motor died and I needed a new unit...then charged me a $89.00 fee for that. When calling to get a quote for a new unit they had by far the highest prices.

This company has repeatedly provided great prices and service for our home. I'll continue to refer Reliable H&A to friends who need heat or air service.

if i could give them no stars at this point i would....we hired them to replace our hvac system 10 months ago. everything with our new trane was perfect until summer hit. we discovered our system was improperly wired areas were not sealed correctly and caused over 12k of damage to our home when the system leaked and the sensors in the pan failed. this was 2 months ago....they will now be coming out tomorrow for the 6th time in 2 months to fix the system when this time the pipe was not connected properly to our system when yet again water leaked from the system less tham half of inch from leaking again in our attic that was just repaired!! we have had fuses blown on the unit and replaced 3 times they dont know why its happening etc. very poor workmanship...as for them coming to service sometimes i have to wait a day but to me....we sld be on a priority im sick of hearing sorry we have no techs in ur area....bull crap again customer service.....than, they promised us our 1k deductible back for all the damage yet still nothing from them after 2 months and get this....they tell me to call their insurance company myself to find out the status of them releasimg 1k funds to me??? seriously??? hello its ur insurance company and ever hear of customer service...just write me the 1k check already wtf!!! i have a report with BBB and hope to get this resolved otherwise im going to talk to trane, get a service contract transferred and possibly get an attorney.

This company cannot be trusted. My thermostat to my downstairs HVAC was not working so I was assuming the thermostat got hit by one of the many power serge's we get through storms. I had lost the one upstairs about 3 years ago and had COOLRay come and they checked everything and it was just the thermostat. Long story short, I called RELIABLE to come and check out the problem. The first thing the guy told me was it would be $199 just replace the Thermostat and he checked the unit up in the attic and let me know a fuse was blown. He told me he replaced the fuse and went outside to check unit outside. He comes back in and told me it was the mother board. He sent a quote to my email which totaled $1560 ($920 was the mother board). I did not go for that and got a second opinion with my old HVAC people DSC Heating & Air Conditioning INC, Bethlehem, GA where I used to live (a small company). Scott came out and checked everything and it was the fuse (there was no fuse in it like the guy from RELIABLE told me he replaced) and a part called a CONTACTER NOT the mother board. Total cost for everything $240. Scott is very honest. DO NOT USE RELIABLE!!! They will try and rip you off. I had to pay a service fee of $89.95 to RELIABLE for just coming out. I want my money back!

Jorge and Alexis from Reliable recently installed a new air conditioner, furnace and zoning system in my house. I can definitely tell the difference in air flow and in the evenness of temperature. The installation also looks much cleaner. Before, there were various wires hanging down from the duct-work and patchy insulation on some of the ducts. Now, all the ducts are sealed, and the wires are routed properly. You can tell that these guys take pride in their work.

I needed a new heating and air-conditioning unit to replace an old one. The installers broke my fence, left dents in the side of the outdoor condenser, and there was trash and several short sheet metal screws left in the driveway. When I later went in the crawlspace there was a whole box of short metals screws strewn between the entrance and the furnace. I contacted the Reliable person who came out and gave me the quotes. He said he'd check on it and get back with me. After a few weeks I'd received no reply and contacted him again. He put me in contact with someone in the officer. They said they would get back in contact with me. It has been over 6 months and I've heard nothing from them.
