I just had 2 HVAC systems installed today. I got a few quotes, but selected Reliable based on their good reviews and comptetitive pricing by Jeff in Sales. The installers, Andrew and Billy, were prompt, professional, and kept a clean workspace in my home. It was very hot in the attic and they carried on without delay or complaint. I also had a chance to meet Daniel, the Install Manager, and he was also very professional. In jest, I was very pleased with their work, happy to have my new Seer 16 A/C systems in, and looking forward to working with them again for my HVAC needs.

A/C unit outside was making a really loud noise so we called Reliable. It was on a Friday so they put us on standby and assured us if they couldn't come that day, then they'd be out Saturday. Saturday morning, a very nice serviceman came out and told us he could fix it for just under $2000 or we could replace our whole outside unit for $3300. We decided to replace it, given it would have a 10 year warranty. The soonest they could replace it would be Monday. We were so tired of sweating in our 86* and Monday seemed like forever away. Thankfully the nice technician offered to bring us window units to get us to Monday. They made a special trip back to our house on Saturday to install 3 window units! Monday's replacement of the unit was quick, clean and they did a great job. Doesn't get much better than that!

I called them to service the AC unit they installed less than a year prior. They found the system to be 1 lb low of refrigerant. I was charged despite the age of the system for $160 for the fill. I gave them a poor review on their survey they emailed and was contacted by a manager. I was told they'd be refunding the $160 because they hadn't been out to service the unit since it was installed and had no proof that it was fully charged when installed. I've never received this refund and customer service has no record of it. And for what it's worth, they were 6 hours late for their appointment window as well.

This is the 3rd review I wrote about Reliable and so far none of them has showed up on their website. It seems that only good reviews show up through Yelp! Two of my toilets plugged up and I could not get them free so since Reliable had installed a water heater for me I called them expecting good service and a good price. When the Plumber showed up on 11/10/14 he ran through several price structures and not being a plumber they did not mean much to me. It took them less than an hour to unplug the toilets by each plumber using a plunger on each toilet. I was charged a $90 service fee and $328 plumbing to clear main line stoppage. I did receive a military discount but still the price seemed very excessive and I will not use Reliable again and have started telling my friends my story and all of them were shocked at the cost. I tried to call the father/son owner but was told they did not handle the plumbing and was referred to the plumbing head John Crumb and was told he would call me back which he never did. I called back and was told John was busy and they referred me to Chris McKinney who obviously had no authority and basically said that was the price and there was nothing they could do. So I ended up paying $368 for less than an hour's service. Guess I was in the wrong career field!! Carey Cole

AC went out on July 2nd.. couldn't get anyone to come out to our house until July 5th. Kinda makes those fancy service contracts if theirs worthless and un""""reliable"""" when that's the best they can offer.

Depending on who you come in contact with, will depend on the service you receive. Not all of the employees are bad apples, but most will make you feel as though you are living a nightmare. I have experienced billing issues and service call issues that started in 2021 and just got resolved. I am waiting now for resolution for damages & an unauthorized charge, and I have had to file complaints with the state and others for resolutions. Best of luck.

I have used Reliable Heating and Air for over 14 years and have bought 3 systems from them. I went online to sign up for my annual maintenance which has cost me around $285 since I have 3 systems. I had to leave before the appt but my husband was here when he needed to pay. Since he has never paid he did not know how much it cost. We were charged over $500 for a yearly maintenance. I tried to called Reliable that day but it was close to 5:00 and the phone went dead at 5:00. So I called first thing in the morning and they have a new plan that charges you monthly for maintenance which is about the same as the old $285 or you can pay up front and it's $500. How does that make sense? I asked them to reverse the $500 and charge me monthly and they refused. They said it was too late. I'm very upset as this was never explained to me. I will never use them again and I will be filing a complaint with American Express. I believe they did a bait and switch without properly explaining their new terms.

Scheduled an appointment to have a tech come out and diagnose my ac problem and hopefully fix it. He the said capacitor had gone bad. He checked his truck to see if he had a spare one to install so I priced it online while he did that. It's like $10-$20 online. He came bk to say he didn't have one and that it would be a $300 fix. Smh. I dismissed em bought a capacitor came 3 days later installed it myself. And my Ac still doesnt work! Waste of time and money calling these people to come out. For $100 they could have diagnosed my shit correctly.

Wish I had read the reviews before using their service. I purchased a high end variable speed Trane HVAC system that comes with a 10 year warranty. """"Reliable"""" came out for a service call for an issue with the new thermostat they installed. The issue was that they used the existing lines when it was installed instead of replacing with what was required. They incorrectly billed me for this. When I called to explain, they agreed and said the charge would be removed. Instead, they sent it off to collections. So whenever I call for service, the person that handles the calls says that I must clear it up with the collection agency and that they cannot even discuss. I'm not 100% sure, but does seem like a scam to get out of servicing the warranty. Any """"Reliable"""" worker that has come to my house has been very professional. But the """"Reliable"""" office and practice seems to be of low integrity. You should avoid.

I bought my house new in 2000. It was never cool enough. 2 units and I was sweating. I kept replacing the units and it was costing a lot of $$$ with no results. I finally decided to replace both units and increase the sizes of each. The guys from Reliable came out gave me the best price and they put in a Trane system with new ducts and returns upstairs. I got the largest systems I could and now I can set my air at 68 and I'm cool even when it's 100 outside. I keep up the maintenance plans and I have technicians in my home 2 times a year and I've never had anything negative to say about any of them. Armando was here this week and he was amazing. He took the time to make my family and my ac units happy. Thanks Reliable.
