Genesis is wonderful to work with and the technician I usually see, Richard, is knowledgeable about my HVAC equipment and knows right away what needs to be replaced. Here's the SHORT story: I had a problem with my 30 year old Trane furnace. Everybody's busy due to Winter coming on. Most said a week or two to get a tech guy out. The first licensed HVAC plumber was incredibly incompetent and made a mess of things-paid him to stay away forever. After 2 months of additional ""help"" a short circuit was (probably created) and diagnosed. I finally called my trusted basic plumber who recommended a company that came out and offered to fix for $975, saying it needed a new wiring harness and maybe a new circuit board (at add'l cost, of course. They said only 4 wiring harnesses in USA, and going fast--no pressure, right? But of course they could get a city permit and do a complete new install for $6400.00. I should have seen it coming when they put on shoe guards to ""protect my floors"" !!
Luckily and in the nick of time, I found Reliable Energy Management through a manufacturers website. They sent Richard out THE NEXT DAY and he found the short, repairing the existing wiring for $120.00. I was amazed. Very nice person, too. Stress gone and heater now working perfectly. I wish I had found them earlier !

If it was possible to provide a negative star I would. Reliable REFUSES to close out my weatherization paperwork for over 4 MONTHS and counting! WARNING: If you want your work completed timely don't bother with this INCOMPETENT company. My next complaint is going to the BBB.

I quoted around for a few days before coming across Reliable Energy and decided to give them a try. Genesis answered my call and she was very helpful and courteous right off the bat. I got the pleasure of having Richard inspect and repair my AC and Furnace. He was so respectful and knowledgeable and was kind enough to explain, with detail, what the issue was and how to prevent it from happening again. The pricing for the house call and the parts and labor was very reasonable. I will definitely use Reliable again and I recommend this company to anybody needing as HVAC servicing.

The office staff is horrible. Amanda Estrada in particular has no clue. She provided wrong information to the gas company after she told me everything was ok. She neveeer returns calls and now she's got the girl who answers the phone just placing me on hold and hanging up. I really would like to get this straightened out with whoever is in charge, but I can not get past the receptionist answering the phone. Horrible customer service. Techs that came to the house were actually pretty good. Cant see them in business much longer with this kind of office staff.

Renco is a company that has contracts with the gas company to save energy, but they are so irrelevant that, they are doing a bad job, and they do not respond to the complaints that one puts on them, especially they left me with a falling door, and a shower that does not work,
