Dan from Reddi-Rooter has been my plumber for over 22 years. Over the course of his visits he has snaked out the sewer, replaced garbage disposals as well as kitchen and bathroom faucets, replaced toilets and installed a hand held shower head. Dan can do anything. He is an exceptional plumber who can find solutions for anything a home owner can present him with. He has a relaxed disposition and has never appeared stressed by any project he is presented with. I am extremely grateful that I found him so many years ago and we in the Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill etc. areas are really lucky to have his services available.

He is super honest and very fair in his pricing.

Called around on a Sunday and the nice lady on the phone said one hour. Conway showed up and did a nice job. Done in 30 minutes. Whoops. We tested it and it backed up the other way. Then we worked and worked. I helped with emotional support and towels. After 2.5 hours the clog finally went down. Some guys might have quit and come Back the next day. But Conway stayed until the end. My hats off to the young man

Unfortunately I have to post this because I was unable to work out a positive resolution with the business.

On Sunday called Reddit Rooter based on all the positive reviews here to clear a toilet clog. I didn't call the big companies because I wanted to support local small businesses.

A long story short, the tech was unable to clear it through the outside cleanout. I was told to call a different company and I was charged $91 for the service. I was back to square one at this point and $91 out.

I found another local company also on Yelp and the tech came out within the hour and was able to clear the clog in less than 10 min. of arrival through the SAME outside service cleanout that Raddi Rooter tried without success.

I tried to work out with the owner of Reddi Rooter to reduce the $91 fee because I feel the fee is high for not able to resolve the issue that another company was able to.

I am not saying they should not charge me at all, but $91 is high when I was left to call another company to do the work. Sadly, they would not budge on the fee.

These guys and Kevin at Diablo Rooter will be my go-to plumbers. Kevin didnt think he would be able to get to me in a timely manner and recommended Reddi. I dig honesty and integrity and believe what goes around comes around. They fixed the problem so we thought. But within 24hrs, plumbing was acting up again. Even with a packed schedule, they made it back out to work on it til everything was working properly. Leslie (owner) is super nice friendly and real. (Real is important to me - I can see through BS). They also do pipe work - not just snaking/augering... which means they truly understand plumbing. A+

Wonderful experience here. Called in for quote on 10/26/2020 (Sunday) 10am when most plumbers are closed. One of the owners (Leslie) answered and was nice, friendly and gave me a reasonable quote. Made some small talk with her about life and then Told me the fixed cost for keeping service under an hour and in rare cases it may go over an hour.

Conrad (or Conner) Showed up about 2 hours later and he was nice and professional. He had to check/clear a sewer clog by removing our downstairs toilet because we could not find the outside pipe to the sewer. He fixed the issue and didnt mind me hovering over him and telling him how ""I could do it but I dont wanna"" =)

Great experience - will use again. Now it's good to know of an honest and reputable plumber in Contra Costa County.

We called around a variety of larger shops and got the standard response of "" we can see you next week, and oh by the way, we can can commit to a time of between 08:00am and 3pm..."" Ummmm, no thanks.
So we ended up with Reddi Rooter, nice enough, turned up within 30 mins of scheduled time to fix a plumbing issue that has plagued us for months....
Two guys turned up, the owner of the business was the lead technician and resolved the issue . His assistant however, was not the sort you want to meet down a dark alley ... tattoos to the hilt, pierced ears (all fine by me), EXCEPT the smell was unbearable; he reeked of cigarette smoke and or alcohol... . You know the sort, breathing heavily, poor hygiene and just left a very bad smell in our home after he left.
It is on that note that if you book with these guys, (the lead tech's wife answers the phone to schedule), I would insist that the assistant either cleans himself up and takes a good long hot shower before turning up, or ask that he stay outside your home!!!
Honestly, the smell was AWFUL!

Reddi Rooter is FANTASTIC! We've been using them for ages. Today Derek and Conway went way beyond awesome! Prompt, polite and phenomenal!
.... 4 months later & Derek saved the day again! I told my husband to NEVER THROW AWAY HIS CARD! Great, fantastic job once again!

Just a clog I thought, but old houses have problems new houses don't. The guys were persistent and professional. Problem resolved at the estimate even though an old pipe can create exceptional issues. Good job.

You would be so grateful as I was to have Dan Thompson, Reddi Rooter's owner and plumber, take care of what ails your home plumbing. A plumber since 1973, Dan is an honest hardworking old school plumber. He knows way more than most plumbers today with their corporate logo polo shirts and paper booties. Dan won't try to sell you on getting some fancy camera photos of your plumbing or $10,000 repiping. He goes under the house and fixes it. And it stays fixed. We've had sooo many plumbers and so many disappointments over the past 30 years we've been in our home. Hooray for Dan. The sewage backups are finally over. He also fixed our wonky running toilets and they have stayed fixed which is more than I can say for Letts, CoCoCo and all the others we've paid to fix our toilets. Letts actually told me one of my toilets, a Toto, was ""worn out."" Absurd. Reddi Rooter is reasonably priced, fast, honest and accurate. Highly recommend.
