I made the call first thing in the morning and got a same day appointment. I was contacted three or four times throughout the day keeping us updated as to where the technician is and what time, he will be at our house. When the technician arrived, he introduced himself as Sendo. He was very professional and gave us three options to repair our plumbing situation. He was done in about an hour and a half. Cleaned up after himself. Very happy with the service.

Red Cap Plumbing made us victims of Senior Price Gouging. They charged us $293.00 to replace a wax seal and calk a toilet. It was a late Friday afternoon, for a tenant, a couple with four children. We were over a barrel and could not deny our tenants the service of a toilet. Had it been for my own residence, I would have asked the technician to leave. When I called to complain, while stating that Lowes charges $129.00 for the same service, I was told """"we are not Lowes"""", I was then """"dismissed"""". My husband and I are both Viet Nam Veterans, and are elderly. When I said that to management, I was also told, """"that does not matter"""". Obviously. Avoid this rip off business at all costs.

I had a main line drain clog, I called Red Cap and they came right out. The plumber who came was the Mike Strippoli. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond on the job. He gave different recommendations on how to handle the drain issue. He worked quickly and was able to clear the drain. He made sure everything was back in place before he left. If you call Red Cap, I recommend to request for Mike.

Red Cap plumbing is fantastic! We hired Red Cap Plumbing to install a new indirect water tank that serves 3 floors in the high rise that I manage. Dave and Hunter were the techs, dressed neatly and very polite! Not only did this job get done quickly, neatly and on time but the price was fabolous. We are commerical not for profit and require 3 bids for any work to be done and Red Cap's pricing beat all the rest! This was our first expereince with Red Cap but it will not be our last. We also had another issue caused by another local commercial plumbing company not doing their job correctly, and Red Cap tech Chris was able to diagnose and make the repair and he even stayed around to make sure all was good and then took the time to talk with me, the customer using langauge and descriptions that I could understand! I have been in the property management business for 20 years and have used alot of plumbers, Red Cap far exceeds the rest!

I recently contacted Red Cap for my hot water heater leak. After efficient and easy scheduling, Anselmo Betancourt arrived to help. He did a remarkable job. He was very professional, conversational, and knowledgable. He clearly, and repeatedly because of my requests, laid out all my options and his recommendations. I ended up replacing my hot water heater and was very satisfied with the whole service experience. Prices were fair, in my opinion, and I plan on using them again for any follow-up plumbing work. The reason for not having a five-star rating is because of the Air technician. During the above service, Red Cap also tuned-up and checked-up my Air Unit. This was done by Marty. I was very underwhelmed and taken aback by his service. In his defense, he did have a lot to live up to compared to Anselmo. However, the jury is still out on my opinion of Red Cap's Air services and technicians.

Had a great experience today! Mike S. fixed a sewer clog, was friendly, courteous, arrived quickly and did a great job at a very reasonable price. He cleared the clog and also snaked out both bathroom shower drains. Would highly recommend- thanks again, Mike!

Faced with a plumbing emergency, I called Red Cap for the first time based on others' reviews. They were able to get a tech to the house within a couple of hours. Sindo was thorough in checking the problem and covering my options. He was quick, friendly, and left our place cleaner than it was when he arrived. We will use Red Cap again.

This is the 2nd time I have used RedCap Plumbing and both times I was very happy with the service. Ashley answered the phone when I called and she was very firendly/helpful. Nick arrived the following day and took care of my issue quickly and efficiently. He was friendly and explained exactly what he as doing step by step. They also honored a coupon I had received in the mail with no questions asked. Nick cleaned up and was every bit a professional. I will definitely be using them again.

Ask for Carl M. He knows what he's doing works quick and it's done right the first time. He tells it like it is and doesn't waste your time!

By and large I'm relatively pleased with Red Cap. However, their excessive attempts to confirm arrival times and communicate changes to their schedules only serves to confuse and annoy. Additionally, I get the impression that their technician are a bit overworked. I called to schedule both a water heater maintenance and a AC maintenance. They scheduled me from 2-6pm on a Monday evening. I got a call from their office mid-day saying the plumber would be late. I then got an additional call a couple hours later saying they wouldn't make it all and would need to reschedule. Fine, I'm then under the impression my evening has opened up. I get an additional call at 3:30 to inform me the AC technician just finished his last job and would be headed my way next. After a bit of back and forth it was explained to me that the water heater maintenance and the AC maintenance were actually two separate appointments with two separate technicians scheduled at the same time. This is all fine, I just wished it were explained to me the first time around. Additionally, I was a little annoyed that I then had to block off a separate chunk of time to deal with the plumber (I'll write a totally separate review for that work.), but still be available for the AC guy. Two hours later (5:30pm) the AC guy still hadn't shown, but I then got a call from Adan saying he was on his way. At 6:30pm he finally knocked on the door. By this point I was particularly perturbed with the late arrival. But, as I answered the door I could see in his face he'd had a long day and I refrained from voicing my annoyance. He wasn't much for conversation, but he was polite and answered all of my questions. Once the job was done he was a bit more conversational and indicated his previous job was in Largo. He was headed from there to my home in Seminole Heights at 5:30pm... explaining his late arrival. Unfortunately, Adan failed to reconnect the pump on my AC unit correctly. This had two consequences. One, since the thermostat's power source was run through the pump, without it being connected properly at pump the thermostat failed to give a reading and just cranked the AC down until it automatically shut off altogether. Two, it failed to pump the water out of the house. After poking around a bit I was able to determine what the problem was and reconnect the power myself. However, when the pump came back on it made and horrific and ear-piercing noise... enough to wake me in the night. I called Red Cap. Adan came back out the following day. He was apologetic about the power source and explained what was wrong with the pump. He then proceeded to fixed it at no additional cost. I did however, have to make myself available for an additional 3 hour block in order for Adan to come back out. That made for three nights in one week devoted to meeting with Red Cap technicians. The only highlight saving this review from a one or two star rating is, that despite his weariness, Adan was polite, responsive, and explained to me everything he was doing.
