Saw an ad in newspaper and called them about changing my shower control knob. Had them do it. Price was reasonable $1200.00. Other places wanted to replace my whole shower unit for $9300.00. Works great now and my arthritic hands don't hurt adjusting knob. Thank you

Do not call them out to your house. We had a guy show up and they wanted $750 for two hours worth of work. I am an accountant and I don't charge that much an hour. When I was calling other plumbers, they all said that Red Cap has a bad name. The con man was told to leave by my husband and then offered us $500 to fix the sink. No thank you!!

One would think, and the Customer Experience VP (Jason, I believe his name was) is that at the end of your experience with Red Cap, your problem would be resolved. Unfortunately that was not my experience. I was told I needed a water heater replacement. Simple, right? I mean mine was old, it wasn't leaking, but it was old. So sure, I went with the new heater to be installed the next day. Install day. I get a call when he was supposed to arrive, he's running an hour late. Fine, thank you for calling. Mid-install he takes off. An hour? Two? I don't know I was trying not to hover over the dude. Anyway, the finishes the install and informs me the new unit isn't firing and blames it on the electrical panel. He then proceeds to call his buddy the electrician, and lets him know he has a 'non Red Cap' job and has me schedule time to have this dude do work on my panel. I schedule time just to get rid of this dude. As soon as the Red Cap guy leaves I find my own electrician and then cancel the first. My guy, shows me the wire had been cut. I pay to get this corrected. Remember Jason, the Customer Experience VP? He was supposed to call me back. Did he? Of course not. Did he return any of my calls over the next week? Nope. The next week? Nope. And they have refused to answer any question made by the home warranty company. Total cost of dealing with Red Cap: $2,365.95. And too many days without hot water. Anyways, this was my Red Cap experience. Proceed with caution.

We just bought our home and the AC completely died. They had a technician out to our house the next day and we had the new unit (inside and outside) completely removed and replaced in less than 48 hours. All of the technicians that we had were outstanding and hard working!! We have used Red Cap before and will continue to use them for all of our plumbing and HVAC needs!! Excellent service!!!

I just had another visit from one of my favorite plumbers Adrian h from Red Cap plumbing great service low prices very clean I am very happy they will be coming tomorrow to do cleaning on my air conditioning I highly recommend this company stars. As I stated the plumber that came Adrian h is a more than five star plumber I would recommend him to anyone

Purchased a service contract that included A/C and Plumbing for $199.00 the A/c cleaning was an absolute joke a 5 year old unit and the tech tried to sell me over $6.000.00 dollars in repairs, the salesman/tech didn't even change or inquire about the filter. However on the plumbing side Yes we had a 50 your old pipes and the were clogged. John the owner and his tech gave me 3 estimates 1 it could work. 2 it should work, and 3 over 4.000. And it will work knowing that the system needed flushing after reminding the sales/tech of our 15% discount we went forward with option 3 it will work after discount and 50% down they sent Orlando and his Assistant to clean the pipes, they were professional and mindful of making sure everything was cleaned up, over all these two gentleman did an excellent job. However conversation with a neighbor who has a plumbing company, this was an very high price to pay for this job. Orlando and his Assistant were very very good. As for Red Cap buyer beware, their going to go as far into your pocket as they can.

I used this business several years ago and they came very quickly, the service was reasonably priced, and the gentleman that came out was very pleasant.

It was early October 2020, my sister-in-law Pat asked my wife to hire someone to adjust her toilet for her. It was not leaking on the floor, it was simply running a little bit from time to time. Normally this is not something for which Pat would request help. My wife, who was visiting her at the time (from Dallas), explained this problem was not urgent and she would take care of it shortly. However, Pat insisted it should be fixed immediately because the thought of the toilet running was a great concern for her. My wife honored her request and called Red Cap Plumbing to come by to resolve the problem. She met the repair man at Pat's house during regular hours. The plumber spent 5-10 minutes making some minor adjustments. My wife felt the charge was excessive but she paid the bill. Pat felt better knowing this problem was fixed. This was on October 6, 2020. So far, this is an uninteresting review. Here is the rest of the story... Pat lived in Tampa. My wife and I live in Dallas. My wife drove to Tampa in late September 2020 to attend to Pat who was terminally ill and hospitalized in an ICU. This is why my wife did whatever her sister requested, even though she knew Pat would never return home. The charge for the work was $256.00. It was paid. Pat did not return home and passed on November 23, 2020. (RIP) It is now September 2021, my wife and I just returned home after spending months in Tampa dealing with probate and estate matters. It is only now that I have given any thought to writing this review. I suggest you evaluate your plumbing options. I have found several very good plumbers in the Tampa area. I do not recommend Red Cap Plumbing.

The first part of the A/C installation and communication was ok, but now we are still waiting on the completion of their job after months! After several calls over the past few months asking to schedule and complete the final inspection (needed a second after the first installation failed inspection with the county) and installation of a few air vent covers, we are STILL waiting. Their second batch of technicians left many marks inside the house they have yet to clean up. Do NOT use Red Cap!

I can't believe how bad my service has been. I could write a book and honestly I can't believe I kept using them. The last chapter: Today someone finally came to fix my unit. 1 of 3. It seems that three technicians could not decide what was wrong with it. The tech that came today said I only had clogged drains. 25 minutes after he left. It stopped working again. The scheduler told me someone would come back out today. No one came. When I called the after hours line the lady that said she would call me back no matter what, didn't call me back. The best part is, a second unit that had nothing wrong with it now needs a new compressor. A unit I never asked them to touch. They quoted me $3000 to fix that unit. Then they called me back stating they didn't want to loose my business and brought it down to $1500... the unit was under warranty so that was the real price deduction. Hmm interesting that now I have two units in need of repair when I started with one.
