11:30 on a Tuesday. I just don't have an hour to wait in line to get help. Please hire more help or at least acknowledge to the contractors and others waiting around that you will get to them as soon as possible.

After reviewing the rest of the reviews, I have experienced the good and the bad.
Pros: The manager Henri and some of their associates, such as Chris, really know their stuff about plumbing. If you're patient with them they'll explain things for you and give you plumbing 101 regarding the specific plumbing situation. So if you're in a bind, and need your parts asap, Rebacks is probably your best bet; but you pay a premium because they do keep a good amount of parts in stock so you don't have to wait for the product to be shipped from the manufacturer to them. These guys are one of the few local distributors of California Faucets, which is the product I was looking for. There are not many distributors for Cal Faucets unfortunately so I couldn't just pick who I wanted to go with when it comes to plumbing stores.
Cons: Their prices are better than ""MSRP"" but they're not going to be the best prices where you can get elsewhere locally at other plumbing stores or online. The other thing is that they charged me tax on for shipping/freight, when that's not a taxable item. Perhaps that was a mistake, but read your invoice in detail. Rebacks can be cocky because they're going to do business with or without you because they cater mostly to contractors in the local area, so they have a steady stream of business; therefore, as a consumer, you're going have to come in with some knowledge or pay more than other places.
Super-Con: There is one sale rep. you have to avoid, and that's Ollie (you can't miss he talks loudly and obnoxious, and sticks out like a sore thumb); he talks a fast talk like a true sales person. As a consumer I want to make sure I am getting the correct part by explaining my plumbing situation, but before I can finish, he tends to think he knows what you're going to say and interrupts you. I also ask follow-up questions. When that happens, you can tell he is stumped and he hides that weakness by being frustrated and he just tries to make you feel dumb making you think you don't know what you're talking about (and makes idiotic comments such as ""are you an engineer""). No, but I have a head on my shoulder with brains and can figure out how things work and if something doesn't sound right, I will ask a question to see if I understood correctly.
Ollie thinks he knows much but he does not. He is one of those people when you ask why, he gets stumped because he truly doesn't know his craft and so he deflects his weakness by putting it on you and says just get this part this is it. And when you don't buy, he is even more annoyed. Sounds similar to a car salesman right? (When it came down it it. He was wrong TWICE when I came in two different times. Therefore, I avoid him and go to the other reps who have more knowledge.)

To owner of Reback: You should watch who you employee. Not sure if the owner sets the tone of the store, but could be. I am sure his founding parents would turn in the grave if they saw how the counter runs now and how certain good clients are treated and taken advantage of. I have bought here off and on for over 20 years for my rental houses. Granted I always had to show the counter what prices things really went for or they would hit me for full retail with a smile. They would work with you on price if they think your in the business.
I Hit my boiling point last weekend and had to share.
Must warn others.
Cons-
1. No reason to go here unless your a sucker and want to over pay.
Most Everything is marked up 30% to 200% higher than other places.
2. Almost everything they sell including cartridges, shower stems, values can be bought on amazon for half price with a full return policy.
3. I was sold 4 of the wrong parts. than hit for a 20% restocking fee. To top it off the little man behind the counter was taken in the back and told to hit me with a restocking fee by manager and did not even tell me he was going to do that consider I called and explained issue right away. He had no back bone to tell the truth to his manager. I was there there to spend another $1,000 on parts and over pay out of convenience. Never again. I should thank them for helping me save money.
4. There is a shaved head vulgar man behind the counter that thinks he knows everything has a attitude from hell. The way you know he is lying is his mouth is moving. You can't miss him.
5. If you don't know better they will over charge you on everything. If you question them they will make up one lie after another. Study them you will see the lies.
6. The shaved head ego man maybe named Henry sets the tone for the whole parts counter. Other employees seems to admire and bow to him. (not sure on name I had to get out of the store before I threw up after spending over $1,500 there in the last few weeks and having them hit me for restocking fee after selling me the wrong parts telling me they would work, and I called the next day to tell them the the parts were wrong and told them I would be returning them and order other parts from them. I had to give them the right part numbers.
7. I watched many elder woman getting taken advantage of while I was there. Each person unknowingly over paying for parts from toilet replacement kits to water filters. Watching all the smiles thinking they were being treated good while being taken advantage of.
8. Make no mistake you can save lots of time and money not going here.
9. If you have had a similar experience at this store please post your experience on yelp with 1 star and send a loud and clear message to the owner that they should not take advantage of more people and sell the wrong parts and then charge a restocking fee and over charge so much to unsuspecting clients.
If you have already made a yelp review and agree with what I am saying please edit your review to one star. send a loud message.
If I was the owner of REBAKS I would immediately get rid of this shaved head man. He is hurting your business. Set him free he probably does not like being there anyways do him a favor. Study him especially on Saturdays when main office is not going WOW he thinks this company is his private play ground or house. Just watch his feet up on the counter and how he chit chats with employees while customers are waiting.
Pros- Have lot of items in stock and open on Saturdays.

I searched all over the greater Los Angeles area for a hard-to-find 12 inch tub filler. Snyder Diamond wanted $1500 and their customer service isn't exactly pro-active unless you roll up in a Bentley. Then, because I have an excellent plumber, I found Herb Ebarra at Reback's Plumbing N' Things. He hooked me up with a gorgeous fixture for a fraction of the price, he knows absolutely everything about plumbing, and he's wonderful to deal with. SD, not so much.
Make the trip to Gardena. Reback's and Herb are worth the trip.

I was at this place, this morning. These guys have the attitude as if there the only plumbing store in town. Poor customer service. I was quoted $80 for a part. I left to go up the road to another plumbing store, same part $40 if you are shopping here you are paying way to much . Check price before you buy here. Never again for me.

It has been a while since i had to find a replacement valve for my sink that I could not find elsewhere. Thinking back, i guess i was like the guy who found town with water after wandering in the desert for months. After all, i was searching for this part for months indeed, during after work hours (since I am not a professional plumber)
So you can imagine how glad and thankful i was to finally find my part.
Well, it has been 3-4 years since that initial visit and i am a different man, a different customer. Also, during that elapsed time, the internet search ability has grown exponentially. I can now actually find my part on line.
In knowing this and having an alternate source, I decided to go for the sake of saving waiting on shipping time.
Well, contrary to my precious experience, the customer service was not what i remember it to be. Also, the price increased 20%. So my little $40 valve is now $50.
Next time i am getting it on line. There was no extra service to justify the high price. There was no research help necessary, as i took in the original packaging that i bought from them.
Anyway, the way that i can justify their enormous price hike is to tell it like it was, and now to ""tell it like it is""'

Wow, is what I walked out saying, and NOT in a good way.
So I walk around looking for what I need (2 water supply lines). I needed the lines fairly quickly so I didn't purchase them from where I usually do, online. After walking around aimlessly for 5 or so minutes I run into where the reps are standing around at the cashier. I patiently wait for the 3 reps to finish with there oh so funny jokes. After, we are all finished up with our laughs, the rep looks at me and says, what can I help you with.
I Tell him I need 2 water supply lines, show him the fitting sizes, and he states, oh sorry we don't carry those, a lot of people ask about them, but we don't have them. (Really, a lot of people ask for them, and you're supposed to be a plumbing supply store, and you don't carry them) well heck, your ordering supply manger must be a genius!!! He then says, but I'll go in the back and take a look again, so I follow him and go to look, oh what a surprise, there is an empty box, and 1 left ""new"" (looked used and abused) and 1, well we both can agree, it's used. So the rep, then tells me you won't believe how much they are, and shows me the box that holds all the lines, which is empty, and says $49 on it, then continues to to tell me, $60 bucks. I say, oh ok, $60 for the box of 10 I'm thinking (no big deal the box has a tag on it that says $49). So we go to the front, and he tell me, so that will be $120.... WHAT!!!! You're kidding me, so this jack, thinks I'm going to pay 120 for 2 water lines, and they both look USED and beatup... Like I said, WOW is what I felt after leaving this place. The rep points at another guy, which either must be the owner or manager of the shop, who knows maybe even the supply ordering genius, and says he sets the price, u'll have to talk to him if you have a problem with the price.... Forget it, I won't even waste my breath.
In the end, it feels like a bunch of monkeys running the place, I even thought to myself, next place I remodel I'll get some over priced faucets and vanities from here, but nope, won't buy a thing from this joke of a plumbing store.
Do yourself a favor, there are a ridiculous amount of stores with better looking display, prices, variety, and service.

While the salespeople are extremely knowledgeable at Reback's, this is your old fashioned, expensive store. I wound up cancelling a $ 2700.00 order after going home and finding the exact same things on line for $800.00 cheaper. While I expect to pay more for service, this was ridiculous.
I called the sales person to tell him about the price discrepancy and he told me that they would match the prices I found on line. I sent him a wriiten list and he did not match the prices. I went into the store to show them that they did not match the prices as promised, and was treated very rudely and disrepectfully by the store manager. So, I cancelled the entire order. I need many more things for my bathroom project but will never go back there and do not recommend the store.

My senior parents purchases a faucet from them that allegedly has a lifetime guarantee. When the faucet failed they got nothing but the run around and a bunch of excuses about why the warranty was invalid. This is after my folks have done business with them for decades. Hmmmm

What a unique experience-- I walked in after unsuccessfully searching for replacement faucet handles all over Long Beach area, and Ray looked at the parts and said, without looking anything up, ""American Standard, Cadet-- discontinued about 10 years ago"". Wow, everybody else tried fitting to forms and came up with all wrong guesses. Ray hit it on the head by sight. And he helped me put together an adapter and available handles that fit and were a reasonable price. He even ground down a screw that would not fit. What classy service. And they carry everything, and have tubs of old replacement parts, so if you can't find it anywhere else, come here.
