I called yesterday to get an estimate. They came at 2 today. The owner was really nice. It was a newly done kitchen and we had a leak. He told me he would charge $160 for the call. THERE is the problem. I made the mistake of not calling a second plumber right then. But no one should charge that kind of fee when they are bidding on a job. Yes that fee does apply to the job if you hire them BUT then you are locked into following your money. They bid the job at $395.
Lesson learned - I called a second plumber. Roto rooter came 1.5 hours later for no charge. $305 with parts out the door. Job complete. Thank you roto rooter.

Jose Cabrales/Real Plumbers, Inc. responded within 30 minutes of my call.

He was professional, pleasant, efficient, and accommodating. He came in and fixed the problem fast. He also took the time to talk to me about a project that I am lining up that requires the assistance of a plumber.

I called Jose and immediately found a professional I could have confidence in. Jose is the owner, manager and leader who ensures you receive quality trustworthy service. Freddy did the inspect and was thorough, considerate and took his time to be sure everything is in working order. It was clear from my experience that Real Plumbing takes pride in their work.

My window was between 8:30-9am because Jose was squeezing me into an already tight workflow which I appreciated. At 9:07am no one had arrived so I called Jose and learned his team was running a little behind. Jose was gracious, apologized which was not necessary from my view because we all run late and over. He shared that he was already in contact with Freddy who was on his way. I mention this because I see negative reviews below about being late. I get that waiting on appointments is frustrating. So is traffic and unexpected plumbing issues so it's good to kindly call and inquire about delays and when I did I was met with more great customer service.

When Freddy arrived he was very respectful. Had shoe coverings, asked before moving things and took very great care of the space and left it clean as if he was never there. I do appreciated how aware he was.

I highly recommend Real Plumbing and am grateful they were my first call! Thank you Jose and Freddy for the peace of mind! If I ever need a plumber again I am coming to you!

Horrible service. We had an appointment between 10-12. The van parked outside our house for about ten minutes and then drove away. They claimed they called and yelled to get our attention (front door was open), but neither me nor my wife ever received a call or heard them. I noticed the van as it drove away, and I tried to wave down and yell to the driver, but he just ignored me. I then called shortly thereafter, and the plumber said it ""wasn't going to work out."" When my wife called him a few minutes later, he claimed he had waited outside the house for 90 minutes, which is false and contradicted what he had told me just a few minutes earlier, that he had been parked outside for ten minutes. I don't normally bother leaving bad reviews, but this plumber was extremely rude and unprofessional.

To respond to the comments below, all it would have taken for both parties to ""win"" in this instance would have been to (i) call one of us to let us know you had arrived; (ii) ask one of the workers present in our home to let us know you had arrived; (iii) not ignore me when I tried to wave you down as you drove away; (iv) not be extremely rude and untruthful when my wife and I called to ask why you drove away; or (v) agree to come back at a later time, at your convenience, rather than refusing to provide service entirely merely because you were impatient and failed to try any of the options above. Any of these would have resulted in a win.

What is not to like about these guys. They come right after you call them. They arrive on time. They diagnose complex problems correctly and fix them competently. Their prices are reasonable. They test thoroughly before they leave and tidy things up nicely. Highly recommended!

I have been using Jose for 20 years and he has always done a fantastic job. From water heater replacement, leaking gravity heater, clogged drains and faucet replacement. Our house is 100 yrs old and Jose is able to take care of all our issues. He is very responsive and most importantly, trustworthy. We had to leave town and needed work. We gave him our code and key and came home to the work done and cleaned up. I will never use another plumber. Jose can do anything and do it well.

I feel taken advantage of by this company. My tankless water heater stopped providing hot water when the gas was temporarily cut off for a short interval. When the gas was restored (by me) there was still no hot water. Jose at the company stated that tankless water heaters are supposed to be ""automatic"", but failed to mention that you only have to unplug and replug the water heater cord for the hot water to come back on. Instead of informing/allowing me to try this, he sent out a crew to unplug/replug the water heater cord (that's all it took to make the hot water come back on); to the tune of a charge of $160! It is hard to believe that he had my best interests at heart!

Needed work done on clogged drains. Jose responded quickly and did great work. Already have him booked to do more.
