My house was built in 1963, the entire sewer system has been over 50 years. Last Sunday it suddenly gave us a big surprise that stopped working. The dirty water came back to the tube if we flushed the toilet. The worse thing was it happened at midnight!!! I tried to call couple of contractors but no one willing to come. Then I found Solution Plumbing at Yelp and dialed their number. It was Edgar taking the phone. After I telling him the situation, he just said "" I will be there in an hour"" without hesitation. I was so grateful when his big van showing up in front of my house. He helped to released the drain pressure, inspected the pipe with video snake, very professional! Then he cleaned the pipe using drain opener, checked the whole system, figure out the leakage pipe to me. Very nice service and fast working. I also decided to hire them replacing the sewer system, of cause I got a pretty good deal from Edgar. Highly recommended Solution plumbing and drain!!

I had a complicated situation for a water heater replacement within a triplex unit and Miguel did the replacement which started on a Saturday and he wrapped up on Monday since the replacement water heater supplier was closed over the weekend. He took care of following up without any intervention needed by me. That was pretty cool!

2-3 weeks later, there was some dampness on the floor in the water heater closet. Without hesitation, Edgar came by and spent a few hours figuring out the issue which was due to some condensation pipe popping loose. I am happy to say that the Solution Plumbing and Drain team stands behind their work and are very dependable. It's great to see people honoring the work they do. Kudos!

I had a minor problem in my bath tube and nobody wanted to deal with it. While iI was waking my dogs in my neighborhood,I saw their truck and ask them to come to my house. They arrived after 15minutes and fix the problem very fast. These two gentlemen are very professional with a great sense of humor. Such a relief To find finally a great Plumber.

We had some minor plumbing issues that we kept putting off and/or trying to fix ourselves (2 dripping sinks and a clogged bathtub.) But it became apparent that we needed a professional. A friend of ours recommended Solution Plumbing, so we gave Edgar a call. He was kind, courteous, and professional. He set an appointment for a few days out to accommodate our schedule. The night before he called to confirm our appointment and location. The day of he was about 10 minutes early! He was efficient, tidy, and explained everything to us. His pricing/fees were quite reasonable and he takes checks as well as credit cards. After he left I realized he not only fixed our problems, but he had also sealed our kitchen sink - something that was needed but we didn't ask him to do. I thought that was a nice touch because it was not necessary for him to do that, but needed nonetheless kwim.

I am a confident, take-care-of-myself woman, but I'm not naive. I made sure that my husband was home with me for both safety and to avoid the ""take advantage of the little woman"" syndrome. I feel confident that I could have been home alone when Edgar and his team showed up. I highly recommend you use this company!

Updated review: since I left this review I was contacted by the owner who noted he was unable to return calls as he was dealing with a family emergency. I generally try and trust what people say unless I have evidence to the contrary, so I will believe him and increase my rating to two stars.

Sunday 1/11/2015, i notice that the main shut off valve coming into the house has sprung a leak. i was really worried since it was a sunday and wasn't sure if there was anyone working. i called a list of plumbers on yelp and came across Solution Plumbing. i decided to go with them because they were very prompt at answering the call. i called at 10:30am and they had someone out at my house within one hour.

Edgar came by to assessed the problem and let me know that one of his guys will be there to do the repair. Miguel was the person who showed up that completed the work.

both edgar and miguel were very friendly and also inform me of all the work details. they did. They also did a nice job of cleaning up after the work was completed. i would highly recommend solution plumbing to anyone.

Last Sunday, we discovered a water leak under our house. Found a list of plumbers on Yelp!, and started calling. After making over a dozen calls and having no luck, I went from, ""I want an outfit with high ratings,"" to, ""I hope I can get someone to show up on a Sunday."" I finally had the good fortune to call Edgar from Solution Plumbing. He was at my door exactly an hour later. He quickly assessed the situation, and repaired the leak.

Our house had been retrofitted with copper pipes before we moved in. But when the pipes were replaced, the installer used the old galvanized brackets to secure them. Edgar explained that copper and galvanized don't get along, and the chemical reaction was the reason our pipe failed.

Fast forward to today (Thursday), and Edgar is here again, changing out the old galvanized brackets. He was five minutes early for our appointment, and as I've come to expect, polite and professional. He also found another leak caused by the copper/galvanized thing. Really glad we didn't put off replacing the brackets.

I would recommend Solution Plumbing to anyone looking for honest, fair, and professional plumbing services. I wish I had called them earlier, but I think I saw that they only had 7 (all 5 star) ratings and decided to keep calling. Don't be fooled like I was. They will be my first call from now on whenever I have a plumbing problem.
