This was the worst plumbing experience ever. All I needed was a simple shut off valve replaced and the tech tried to up sale me for $2400 in additional work that was unnecessary. They charged me a $149 trip charge after I refused the work. I tried to get the matter resolved by phone and email but to date have not received a response. I would not recommend this company for any work. They are just a rip off. I would give them a negative if that was an option.

Worst company ever to work with. Extreme price gouging during the Texas winter storm and you will feel they are taking advantage of you. They mentioned they will be coming in the next 48 hours to look into a pipe damage. Then suddenly show up 3-4 hours later and charge me 349 dollars only for the trip. Extreme pressure to give your credit card before they set a foot in the house. The person who came to check out for the leaks didnt do anything worthwhile as the water was already stopped last night and tried to sell everything apart from fixing the main problem. In either case charging 349 dollar during a winter storm when it was not even an emergency shows that they were only into Fraud. I would not recommend at all.

Plumber Dan Jordan is a scam artist and a fraud. July 23, 2020, he came out for a routine drain cleaning and said I needed to replace the broken sewer pipe underneath my house at a cost of $18,000. He immediately started spraying white paint all over my ivy and pavers. When I called him to complain about the damage to my landscaping, he got really snarky and condescending, so I hung up.

All I really needed was a competent and honest plumber to clean the kitchen drain. Drain is clear and plumbing is fine!

I see that he tried the same SCAM on Shantel M. June 19, 2020. I wish I had read her review before calling the crooks at RC Pros.

The guest bathroom toilet fill valve stopped working and we tried to fix ourselves but Oops we broke off part of the pipe I have a lot of people in the house so it's not great to only have one working toilet (that happens to be in my room) so needless to say I don't want people using that one

This happened late yesterday (around 3:30) and despite it being late in the day Dan came out and reviewed the situation and in order to fix the pipe and the valve it would require taking the toilet out and than reattaching so instead I bought a new throne for almost the same price

He came out the next day and was very professional in spite of my barking dog and a bit of a mess

The old throne was old and actually a weird yellow color so I'm happy to have a brand new white one that flushes great!!!

RC PROS PLUMBING FRAUD.. Please Beware. I received an advertisement in the mail regarding unclogging drains for $69 from RC pros Plumbing. A local and stated reputable company in Irving,Texas. When the gentlemen arrived to my home and tried to unclog the drain he stated he was unable to do so and in order to unclog extensive work would be needed. Something along the lines of going in walls etc. He than advised me to have him place a camera in the plumbing, due to the fact that I may have a bigger issue on my hands. He did not charge me the $69 for the attempt to unclog the drain but up charged me $129 to identify issues with the camera. My diagnoses was that I needed about $12-18k of plumbing work done to the home!!! As a new homeowner that was not in my budget but I thanked him for his time and paid the $129 for his work. Two months later I just couldn't take the clogged shower and tried my luck with another plumber.

Thank you to my great neighbors on Next door I found a reliable plumber and came by today. He not only unclogged by bathroom drain successfully but a sink drain that needed some help as well. All this done for under $200. He than took a look at the plumbing as an act of kindness. Stated my plumbing was in good condition in fact there were some new PVC pipes added to the home recently when purchased.

It is unfortunate that there are contractors out to get homeowners. Please be aware of this company and their false advertisements.

Guess i should have read the reviews before calling this company. So many issues! Save yourself time & money. Call a reputable company.

Background to the job done:
Symptoms: My sink was backing up
Diagnosis: Blocked drain - almost $1,100 to clear front and back (my decision to have both done).
Camera inspection after clearing: Free. Showed a rusted, broken drainpipe to the sewer - an $11,000 fix. Drat. They hooked me up with GreenSky loans - fine, so far so good.

The repair took weeks to do once begun - annoying but understandable due to Covid, minimal staff, etc. The repairs were done great (as far as I can tell) and the guys were friendly, competent, etc.

The problem for me is that, instead of them submitting the bill at the end of the job to GreenSky loans, they submitted it in advance. Right out of the gate I was unknowingly overdue by over $200 with a penalty of $39 added on. Phoned RC Pros to get the whole date mess sorted out, was assured it would be - and of course it wasn't. GreenSky loans wanted their money and by then the 2nd month was about due, so I took an unexpected double-hit this month. Thanks for nothing.

Overall, Rooter Connectionz did a great job on the ground - but those great (and I really do mean awesome) guys were let down by their admin-staff. I'll never use them again or recommend them as I feel screwed-over by their admin-staff submitting the bill early.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Here is a synopsis of my experience, and I am trying to be has honest as possible. I had a toilet that was backing up in my parent's home so I called RC Pros to snake the main sewer line (this is a town-home with a straight and relatively short 40' sewer). Their initial communication and pricing was good, and the plumber, Dan Jordan, arrived promptly to assess my problem. Upon arrival he began "snaking" the main sewer line which he quoted at $129. I use quotes here because the snake he was using, I would come to find out, was simply a small snake run by a cordless drill (not the large cable snake required for a 4" main sewer line). I didn't realize this till I thought about it later, but after this he didn't even go in the house to test the sewer, but came to tell me he would have to run a camera (another $129 extra) to see what the issues was. I should have stopped here, but I gave him the green light. He was able to run the camera down the sewer line without a problem, and after about 3 minutes, despite not being able to show me an actual blockage, tree roots, etc. he said this sewer would need to by hydro-jetted for another $1,150 in order for him to assess what needed to be done and provide a quote to fix. It was here that he told me if I did the hydro-jetting right now he would remove the charge of the camera ($129), but if he had to come back and do it, he couldn't offer the discount (so I am now at $1,279 to only get an estimate). He had been there a total of 20 minutes, and I frankly was getting a strong used car salesman vibe. Every time I asked a question he told me he thought the bottom of the sewer line is most likely troughed (bottom rotted out), and that I would have sewage back up into my house. At this point, I knew it was worth the ~$200 to get a second opinion, so Dan left with $258 (including tax) never having fixed my problem. I could go on about the bad taste he left in my mouth, but what proved my instincts correct was I had another plumber come out and for $400 he snaked the line with the right size snake fixing the problem in 30 min, and ran a camera to show me how it was cleared. I told him about my prior experience and he said there was nothing wrong with my sewer it just need to be cleared.

I later called RC Pros and calmly and nicely expressed my dissatisfaction to see if they could do something, but they, in short, told me too bad you signed off on the work.

If you have an emergency and you don't care about throwing money at an issue RC Pros was prompt and might have the skills or equipment to fix the problem, but they are NOT the friendly neighborhood plumber you would like to hire. My parents were there for this entire interaction, and despite being concerned about not being able to flush their toilet, agreed that I should find someone else.

STAY AWAY from this company!! Will add more ridiculous price after working. You will NOT have proper communication and will be treated like a roach after they know they will be paid.
I asked two different plumbing company to take a look to make sure this is not a scam and found out we were being charged with other things that is working just fine.
