We had a panel go down in April and after that our water softener started regenerating every other day (wasting tons of water and taking up time when we can't drink from the tap). We called them to come back a month later and the techs really had no idea what to do and did something that didn't work. It takes weeks to get an appointment and they don't call you until the day before to give you a time frame so you are expected to just keep your entire day open until the day before. For that reason we delayed calling them back, but finally got around to it several months later. Now they want $150 to come back out. Greedy and lazy company with 0 customer service.

After I posted my review, we were contacted by Rayne and they apologized and explained why there was a miscommunication/delay with getting back to us. So we thought great, problem fixed. Well, that is the last we heard from anyone at Rayne. Multiple phone calls and messages went unanswered. We eventually hired another company to remove our water conditioner from our old house. When the other company did remove the water conditioner, there was a lot of sediment that came out and they commented that the company that installed the tank should have placed a filter before the conditioner and that our conditioner was now useless. When he asked us how long ago we purchased it (~2 years ago) and how much we paid for it (~$2600) he rolled his eyes and let out a sigh. Now Im not sure if what these new guys said was accurate (maybe they were trying to sell me on a new system) and I dont really care, I just know that I wont be doing any more business with Rayne or referring anyone to them (like I have been) anymore.

We moved into a house in Los Gatos recently. We love the house and the area, but the water is very hard. I contacted a few different suppliers for a hard water solution and only Rayne Water Conditioning of San Jose was able to present a final solution that met my needs: whole-house carbon filter, salt-based water softener without a drain (usually required) using portable exchange equipment, UV light filter, and under-sink osmosis drinking water filter.

Don, my sales expert understood my needs perfectly.

I am already working with Don again to install Rayne products for our old house before renting this property. I choose Rayne because of my recent experience with their great service, but also because they have a reasonable support service for long term filter replacement.

Our experience with Rayne has not been very good. Over the last 3 years, we have called them a few times for annual maintenance of our water filtering system and water softener system. There was only once, when an experience technician showed up that we were satisfied with (hence the 2 stars). Unfortunately cant say the same for the other technicians who have helped us out. Recently we asked them to change our broken water filter faucet. We paid $150 for the work + cost of faucet. It lasted 3 months and then fell apart. On contacting them, they expect me to pay full price for them to come to take a look at it? Apparently there labor is only guaranteed for 1 month. Really??
