We dumped our old water softener and leased from Rayne a number of years ago. Perfect install (the drain was a rather complicated). We've had one failure over the years and they came out and fixed it the next day. They even provide and deliver the salt in the lease cost - you can have a regular delivery schedule or just call when you need more, like I did.
Now we're moving, and Uriel came out to remove the unit today. He was friendly and efficient.

Uriel was the service representative who came to change the water filters for my Rayne Water System and he was excellent! He was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. He was very neat, cleaned up after he changed the filters, douple checked to make sure everything was working properly, clearly explained how to let the water drain and then let the tank refill. Uriel had a positive, energetic, upbeat attitude that showed he enjoyed his work and cared about helping people. Rayne Water is lucky to have him on their team. Thanks!

He's always on time, very nice down to earth guy, and switches out our tanks fairly quick. I am extremely unhappy with this company. For the 2nd time our water softener wasn't working. It took us a while to notice something was wrong so we called for service. 2 weeks ago the technician came & did something, we were not informed what was wrong with our unit. Yesterday, I finally called to get an update and was told they basically had to rebuild the whole thing. I asked if we could get at least a month credit since we hadn't had soft water for months. I was told nope, they would give us only a week credit from the time we called until the technician came. She pretty much told me it's our responsibility to let them know when the machine is not working and that they do not test it to make sure it's functioning ok. This seems so ridiculous to me. We are going to wait a few months since now the unit is actually working & then look for another company.

My husband and I moved into a house and we didn't know how to use the water softener. I called Rayne because there was a sticker on my water softener. I called and asked for a technician to come out and look at our machine. The operator told me that someone was available the same day. They sent out a salesman who within seconds of looking at the machine told me I needed to spend $3,000 for a new machine and a reverse osmosis. I was really put off this because he was being beyond pushy. I also asked him to turn the water softener off and he said that ""he doesn't touch them"". This salesman used every trick in the book to get me to buy one of his new water softeners. He also offered me 2 months of free water softener saying he was doing a favor but I checked online and Rayne is doing a 6 months free promotion. He said that he had children and is a really nice guy. I would be wasting my time calling other companies. And that hard water in Ventura is causing dogs to have stomach cancer and that the Ventura water is not safe to drink. When a company focuses so much on scaring their customers into buying things it flashes a huge red flag to me. I hope management restructures their sales pitches into a more positive experience for the customers.

We bought a home in a new development in Ventura. Their is no much choices at that time. The only company that is known is Rayne. So I went ahead and signed up. Ever since from the beginning. It's been horrible service from the sales rep to the office worker. The delivery guys are the only one that are nice.
We had couple of incidents happens throughout the service with Rayne from
1. Beads exploding in my garage water all over my belongings. Damaged on the wall of my garage .Remind you this is a brand new home. Rayne end up moving it outside.
2. Leaving my garage open after delivery.
3. Not changing the tank properly or on schedule. Have to call multiple times and speak to rude office staff in the Ventura office.
4. Tank leaking for weeks. Damaging my wall again. We didn't realized since we are on vacation. Found out it's been leaking for 2 weeks.
5. Still water is hard leaving mineral deposits. As if you don't have a water softer.
6. We went on for 3 years with Rayne. Would you think I will ask for anything. I didn't. I ask for them to call me back and speak with the manager. No call that was 2 years ago.

The last straw was I called the office and informed the office staff name Celeste and Mari. Both of this staff need to go to school for customer service. Both are very rude and unprofessional. I informed them that my tank wasn't replaced. They argued that I need a proof. I told them the tank was not replace at all and I know because I can feel how hard the water is. Plus it's well know fact on our street that they haven't replacing the tank on time. Reason that was given by the office staff. Oh it's CoVid we are short handed.
So they end up scheduling me for another week to replace my tank.

So the day finally arrives for them to replace our Tank. This is funny. Remember I been with Rayne for almost 3 and half years.
I got home check the tank. The old tank still there. I called again rude staff Mari and Celeste. They told me that I have a dog in my back yard and can't replace the tank. They knock on door nobody is home. Duh yeah nobody is home I'm at work. I don't have a dog. They end up going to my neighbors house.
So when I called and spoke to the staff. It's was my fault that I wasn't home for them to replace my tank.

I canceled my service. Both staff members Celeste and Mari. Nobody said sorry for what happen. They don't care that I canceled my service. But I'm sure the owner of the company cares about it.
I asked to speak with the manager. Nov 8 and 16 and 23. Now it's Dec 5. Guess what nobody called me back. For those time I asked to talk to their manager. The manager is not in the office.
Those two office member is running this company.
You don't want this kind of employee in your team. I was looking for an apology or the word sorry for your inconvenience. Nada.
