NEGATIVE 10 in Horrible, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service. I do NOT recommend this business at All.
I have been trying to work with them for over a year to try and get at least the consistency of a timeframe (morning or afternoon) their drivers will be at my house once a month.
I can't even get that after well over a year.
The manager Phil would rather lose 3 houses of service that's over $200 a month in revenue for them then actually try to coordinate some kind of morning or afternoon schedule with myself. I'm not asking for an exact time, just a CONSTANT 3-4 hour window once a month to change out soft water tanks.
DO NOT USE RAYNE!!!!!! I'd love to give this company -5 stars but that is not an option. These people do not know how to bill properly and we have been paying for a water softener service for the past five months and the unit has been broken THE ENTIRE TIME!! the first month I noticed spots on our glass so we called Rayne for a service tech he came and checked my sink faucet water wrote a few notes down and said everything was fine!! I trusted him! everything was NOT fine!! we have been paying for a service that hasn't even been running!!!!! This company sucks!! do not use them!! USE ANYONE ELSE BUT RAYNE!!!!!!!
Chris S.I bought a full system over 2 years ago. What a mistake from the service manager the sales manager have been horrible. Talk about a bunch of incompetence. To start they installed the system in backwards. They sent people out over 9 time to fix until I asked why they flow of water was backward. As part of the service I paid to have the service agreement thaT provided salt and filter services second biggest mistake. To say they are shady and not ethical. I called as to ask why I had no salt delivery. I was told they are busy and they would deliver that day ASAP. Never showed up I called again was told they are busy and they will try tO deliver. Meanwhile I have been over charged for poor inadequate service. I have called multiple times to get my refund with no call backs and the people are at lunch every time I call. NeveR do business with this company as they are the most unethical people
Justus R.Since the new shift in management my daily delivery driver has been on time and hasn't cause any trouble. The service I receive over the phone has been great and the ladies I talk to to ask questions are super knowledgeable.
Great job guys and keep up the good work.
Sid M.I am dissatisfied with the installation of the drain hose. It has flooded my house. Rayne came over to fix it with a zip cord. Damage to the house caused my wife and me to move out of house for three months while it was being repaired. Now that I back in my house, had the drain hose coming out of the drain again. This time I was able to stop it from completely draining. Still, had to call the Fire department to help me clean up. Called Ryne Water to help solve the problem. They wanted a service charge and if a problem found, charging me more. I find this most unsatisfactory. Now, that I have looked into the matter. I find there should be an air gap adaptor connected between the drain hose and washing machine drain. A $12.00 part, would save this nightmare, in the first installation. Rayne Water can you make it good?
We've been with Rayne for about a year and we have really hard water. Beau set us up with a system and our water is super soft! Whenever I call the office the girls are always friendly and happy to help. The technicians who come out are friendly and very knowledgeable. I do want to say, please BEWARE of any salespeople from Culligan. We were comparing prices and a gentleman named Gabriel came out and tried to sell us a system. He fabricated a story explaining Culligan had bought out Rayne water. This is false information he is spreading around and I have confirmed with other local residents he has been telling the same story. He told us Rayne would be charging an installation fee for any further equipment, which again is false. We are very happy with our service from Rayne and their customer service is on point. Thank you guys!
I contacted Rayne Water of Ventura when considering soft water service. It was suggested to me that I take a 2 month trial on their newer Spartan System, a whole house water conditioner, which I agreed to do. During the trial period I asked for more information about the product itself, and pricing as well, because I would have been more interested in purchasing than renting if I were to keep it after the trial. Unfortunately I never was able to get that information, despite multiple requests. Besides asking the sales person I called the company and requested their email address but was never provided with one. I also used their contact webform on their website requesting information but again did not receive a reply. I wondered where these messages went, and why they even had a 'contact' form if whomever received the messages did nothing with them. It only frustrates a customer to write and not receive a reply, it would be better to not have such a webform at all.
As the end of the trial neared I wasn't really sure whether there was any significant change in my water as compared to having my previous hard water. I had hoped by that time I would have seen some obvious benefit. I realize that this was not a water softener but I was told it would reduce water scale. Perhaps it does or perhaps not, unfortunately I was just not able to see any difference during that time. So I contacted the company, again in writing, via their contact form on their website just before the end of my trial to cancel the service. Again I never received a reply. Then shortly thereafter an invoice came for a month of service. I called and informed them I had sent in my cancellation, so they arranged to pick up the equipment, and I was told they would look into crediting the invoice balance. This time I was given an email address and was asked to send in a copy of the cancellation that I had sent in earlier to assist them with this, which I did. The equipment was picked up but again the next month I received another invoice, this time with late fees. Again I wrote to the same email address which I was told was going to the customer service manager, and asked for a status update on the invoice charges. And again I never received a reply. So a few days later I tried calling and asked for the same customer service person and was told she was unavailable and to call back. So instead I asked for the manager, Phil, but again I was told he was out and to call back.
Really? If I cannot reach your people because they are so often unavailable you want ME to keep trying? WHY NOT OFFER TO HAVE THEM CALL ME? So that's exactly what I insisted they do, have the company manager call me, and they told me he would do so. That call never came either.
In summary... I do not feel I am in a position to fairly judge the product, I just feel it didn't seem to work well for me. As far as customer service the company could certainly use some significant improvement. It's annoying as can be for any company to continue to bill a customer for service after the service was discontinued. They are not directly telling me I owe them anything, and I know I don't, since I canceled prior to the end of my trial, and fortunately I did so in writing to have proof. But they seem unwilling or unable to fix the billing situation, something that should take just a moment to fix, and I suspect I'll again get another invoice next month before this is resolved.
Marc C.We investigated several solutions to address the extremely hard water in Montalvo area of Ventura, and after meeting Beau, Rayne was the answer. Beau was very knowledgeable and tested our water & gave us several options, but, rent or finance a system. They installed the soft water system, under the sink RO and performed the plumbing work for free for us, and the tech really took his time to get it done.
It has been a world of difference with soft water! Wow! It is night and day, our skin and hair are healthier feeling, and looking and we finally don't have worry about the hard water destroying another faucet or our new refrigerator ice maker. I can't believe we lived with hard water for so long!
If you considering soft water, it is worth your time to speak with Rayne. It is an amazing difference and Rayne and Beau made it easy.
David D.We had Rayne install 2 water softeners & 2 RO systems. Robert Earley was the installer and was top notch! The office staff also delivered great customer service. We couldn't be more happy.
Thank you Beau and team for great service and treating us with kindness and concern for our satisfaction. We love our soft water!!!
