We pay each month for the water softener rental. We don't see any real difference in our water. At the time of signing up, we were never advised there would be a monthly exchange every month, and since our unit is in our garage, we need to be home to let them in. Last month they exchanged the unit, but never turned it on. I noticed the water spots on our dishes and shower, it's been like that for a while, so I don't know if this unit helps with the water spots. We asked for a credit for the month the unit was never turned on, and they only agreed to 50% credit. Customer service is not so good. The techs are friendly, that's about all I can say about this company.
I would not recommend Rayne water.

So disappointed in the lack of customer service from this branch. I'd definitely look for alternatives before going with this company. Now that it's installed it might be more annoying to have it removed.
The one star is for good water quality.
The sales person who gave us the consultation was nice and friendly too. From there it all went downhill.
Then the technician didn't install everything properly and I had to call 3 times over the course of the next ten days to finally get someone out to finish the install. When the second guy came to finish the job, we asked about having the knob face the opposite direction and he said he'd come back because he didn't have the tools for it at that time - there was no followup on this and he did not come back.
Our contract included the first 2 months of service free and random months over the next year also free.
After the first month of service I got a bill and was being charged for the first month of service that I was told would be free.
After the second month of service I got a bill and was still being charged for the second month that I was told would be free.
I called customer service again and they said they would look into it. The next time I spoke with them they said that the burden of proof would be in me and that I would have to show them my contract that indicated that the first 2 months would be free. So I did.
They told me to ignore the charges for the first two months and just pay the installation fee. So I asked if there was a way to set up automatic billing which is probably not a good idea looking at their service track record. They confirmed my email and said they would send ma a link to setup recurring online payments.
Do you think they ever sent that link?

Richard is my service guy not only is he super polite but always very professional and quick. 10/10 would recommend

The water softener doesn't last for more than 2 weeks, they charge almost $50/month for only 2 people. we have to keep tuning off the soft water every day because it does not last and turn it on again if want to take showers etc..
However, the worst part is the customer service on Irvine, this woman Phoenix knows nothing but scream at customers when asked or a concern.
I would stay away from this company. Not professional.

We rent our system from Rayne and today we had an emergency service issue where an inept plumber turned off our water and blamed the Rayne equipment. Jessica in the office calmly helped me turn off the Rayne equipment and had Andre Grant technician at our house in hours. So so thankful for their follow up and care! Can't recommend this company and their people enough!

I was with them for 5 years, They raised their price over and over again. I had them on auto-pay through my bank but they would lose payments. Then I had to deal with their office staff that was rude and would talk over me. That was the last straw. Switched to Culligan dropped my monthly bill from $72 to $52. Do NOT do business with this company!

My rain water softening system was installed today by John K from Rayne's Irvine office. He was on time, worked diligently all day to get our system installed, overcame obstacles based on our existing piping, and left the work site completely clean when he was done. In addition he gave me great instructions on how to maintain the system as well as a thorough understanding of how it works. I was very impressed with the installation process and service. Now I'll keep my fingers crossed that the system works as advertised
