We had a sewer clogged in a small townhouse complex in Palo Alto. We called Rayne, being their clients for over 10 years. First came a technician not so skilled who didn't solve the problem. Then, after another call they sent Jorje with his brother Ralf, a perfect team. Jorje took probably 15-20 minutes the check around different clean-outs and diagnose where in these over 200 Ft. of sewer drain the clogging problem was. First he used the hydro-flush without success, but then he switched to the good old machine-sneak and went on the pipes until he found the clogging and removed it.bThen he flushed again and the sewer was clear and working again fine.
I want to than Jorje and his exemplary professional performance that day: he unclogged the sewer drain, then he went the extra mile to clean the debris and the water around the clean-outs, leaving everything perfectly clean and in good working order.
I would highly recommend Jorje and his brother as a team, also their company Rayne Plumbing for taking care of their customers in an exemplary manner, not overcharging us for overtime that day. Great service for a great value!

We had a first floor ceiling leak. We called Rayne. Jorge came and he systematically eliminated several common possibilities, then opened a small hole in the ceiling and found a pin-hole leak in a hot water pipe. He replaced a complex ""T"" connection with perfect results.
On the same visit he noticed another leak from a 2nd floor toilet and systematically diagnosed that it was the wax seal.
We also has a gas pipe on-off valve that had previously been installed incorrectly by an electrician for a standby home power generator. Jorge also fixed that with a well designed new valve and adding a union to make servicing that piping more logical.
Net-Net: Diagnosed 3 problems and installed 3 elegant solutions. I highly recommend Rayne.

UPDATE 6/2023:

Our company had a clogged sink, a slow flowing toilet, possible issue with the main line, and a broken Sloan toilet valve. Upon calling Rayne, Jackie was super helpful in scheduling, and their text service was next level in continuing the communications.

Nick was called to our location, and he was very professional and knowledgeable. Nick first cleared out our clogged bathroom sink. He used a heavy duty power snake to clear the clog. The sink was flowing freely quickly after his efforts.

While troubleshooting a slow flowing toilet, he cleared out the main line and went above and beyond to figure out the root cause. His advice was very much appreciated.

I was very happy with Nick's work. He was efficient and helpful in getting the job done right. He did a great job and ensured the area was clean after completing service. I would highly recommend Rayne Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing services.

Robert is the man and I'm very thankful for his services. My apartment maintenance team could not unclog my bathtub after many attempts. On their final attempt they end up getting the tool used to unclog the tub stuck. Robert showed up the next day and took care of it. Robert just fixed our upstairs sinks - he was fantastic . He fixed both sinks quickly, explained what the problem was and how to clean the traps moving forward, and was also very funny and personable. I see a lot of glowing reviews and I probably would've given one too. After all, they were the only one willing to come out on a weekend and on short notice.

We hired Rayne because one of our tenants had liquid coming out of their dishwasher and food coming out of their bathroom sink, and one of the tenants below had liquid dripping from their ceiling. Oscar came out and worked on the problem on a Saturday, but the exact issue resurfaced again the next day with liquid coming out of the dishwasher and food particles also coming out of the bathroom sink. So I called their hotline and asked the lady on the phone to have the plumber come back and look into the issue again. She said Oscar will call me, which he did. I had difficulty understanding Oscar but I can tell he was trying to tell me that he fixed the issue and that he'd charge me $320 to come out which was more than his initial visit ($240). He kept insisting that he finished the job, but I told him I believe that he believed he fixed the problem, but the problem is still there. Finally he just said he'd talk to his supervisor.

A few minutes later, Robert called. Robert said Oscar finished his job, and they are not coming because I wasn't going to pay them. I never said I was not going to pay them. I just refused to acknowledge that they fixed a problem which clearly is still present. I know people need to make a living. I was not even going to hold them to their initial bid as every bid is just an estimate. If it turns out to be a more complex job which it's turning out to be, it goes without saying that I will have to pay them more. But Robert kept insisting that Oscar fixed it, and that this is a new job. I said Oscar did *a job* but he did not fix the problem. Then Robert said, there are several units there suggesting someone must've done something. That is definitely a possibility but what is the likelihood that a new problem with the exact same symptoms shows up the day after the initial problem was supposedly fixed? Isn't it much more likely that it's still the same problem? Then I asked him ""aren't you even going to entertain the possibility that the problem was not fixed?"" To which he just hanged up.

I got 2 calls afterwards from the lady I first talked to. I know she's trying to find a solution. She kept asking me if it's a leak or a blockage, and I really don't know why that matters, and she herself said it's a blockage. She proposed that if it's determined that the problem was caused by Oscar's work, that they will fix it; otherwise, it's a new job. Of course it was not caused by Oscar's work. The issue is that Oscar's work did not fix the problem he was supposed to fix, not that his work caused what they claim is a new problem. In her 2nd call, she said something about billable hours but I had already lost confidence in them at that point so I politely told her I didn't want to do business with them.

I love Oscar's job. He is friendly and patient. He came at Saturday night at p.m, which helps me a lot! My dish washer is leaking, and the water is coming from the sink. But he helps me solve that problem and explained the reason cause the problem. He fixed them fast and after that he cleaned that for me! Which is so sweet. If I have any issue with plumbing in the future, I will definitely call them.

I called Rayne Plumbing and Robert got to my house by 8:00.
He snaked out the problem. He was professional and cleaned up after completing the job. I will be recommending this company. I will not hesitate to call them for any future plumbing needs.
