The problem with Ray Duncan is that they charge $59 for coming out . That's not so bad because they apply the fee to the price of the job...if you take the job. That's OK but they charge a job fee rather than an hourly fee. For a dope like me that has no idea of how long a job should take, well, I think I got hosed. $100 to fix a particular faucet--took him about 10 minutes...this after the plumber told me how much work it would be, and showed me in his """"book"""" that the job should be $176...but he """"only"""" charged $100. An inside job took him about 30 minutes--charged $202. Tried to sell me a new kitchen faucet for only $500. And pushed until I was firm that I didn't have the money. The work was just fine. But these guys are more skilled at separating you from your money than the best Las Vegas casino. As the other review said, """"Keep Shopping"""".

I had a plugged toilet sewer line on a Sunday morning. After calling several Yelp plumbers, I reached the one I wanted to use, but he was not available. He recommended Ray Duncan Plumbing. 30 minutes later they were here. Their plumber, Matt, was extremely knowledgable and professional. He had my drain unclogged in no time flat and gave me some tips to keep drains clear. The price was extremely fair for a Sunday call, $200, and I was happy to write the check! I have now found my plumber!! Thank you Ray Duncan Plumbing! I would highly recommend this company and would give them 20 stars if I could.

Save a call to above. They sent a boy who was totally incompetent. Charged $400+ to not find out the problem.

Keep looking. I made an appointment to replace a faucet. It was the week before that the appointment was made for the next Wednesday - first thing in the morning. Wednesday the 21st came and by 11:15 am I called the office and the very pleasant lady told me my name was not even in the system. Some guy answered and took down all my info, but either dropped the ball or something. I called these guys because I saw their truck in my condo lot and have seen them several times before. I will find a Good company and refer them to the other 150 owners where I live.

Ray Duncan has sold his business and the new owners have a new business model...rip off the customer by paying their technicians a commission! I used Ray Duncan for 20 years but I will never call this company again! I needed a 5 year old water heater under warranty to be replace. When the technician came out he quoted me $400 more on his estimate than I wound up paying another company to do the same job! Really? Then he tried to talk me into replumbing the entire house for $6000 just because """"it is 40 years old and pipes might start leaking""""! Ridiculous! If you have """"fool"""" written on your face and like being ripped off call them or do your research and find another company to get the job done!

Needed a new garbage disposer installed and called to get a quote. They do not give quotes over the phone so a technician came over and, after looking at his fancy ipad, quoted me 350.00 to install a garbage disposer and 550.00 if garbage disposer purchased. If this is not highway robbery, don't know what it is. Called Dunedin Plumbing and got the job done for 261.00 (including purchase of new unit). Still think that 261.00 is a lot of money but not as bad as 500.00???????? Moral of the story, Ray Duncan lost a returning customer for good.

I have two sinks in my master bath, with each having a hot water handle and cold water handle. One sink developed a drip from the center faucet, and the other developed a leak at the base of the cold water handle. I attempted to fix them myself and was not successful. I called Ray Duncan Plumbing based completely on their recent television ads, which commit to complete satisfaction. A plumber came to my house, about 45 minutes past the two-hour window I was given. I had some parts, but apparently not all he needed. He came with no parts, although I told the scheduler I did not know if I had all of the parts - he came totally unprepared to repair my sinks. I had to make a trip to Home Depot to buy a part, only to get home and be told it wasn't needed. After completing repairs, my bill came to $362.64. The next day a new leak had developed at the base of cold water handle that had not leaked before. And, a leak developed at the base of the hot water handle of the other sink - that had never leaked before. When I called Ray Duncan Plumbing about one of the new leaks and to schedule another appointment, I told them I did not want to have to pay another penny and wanted the repairs made. A note was made of this demand, but when I got a second call I was told I could not be guaranteed there would be no additional charges. $362.64 should be more than enough to pay for minor repairs on two sinks. I cancelled the return service call. I will never use Ray Duncan Plumbing again. I will either fix them with a friend's help or call a better plumber.

I recently contracted with Ray Duncan Plumbing to replace the stopper in my bathroom sink. The first plumber they sent out did not complete the job (although he said he did) and they were paid. They sent 2 other plumbers the next day to complete the job. The first plumber quit the day after he was at my home. A few days later when I realized that $900 had been stolen from the closet across from the sink I called Ray Duncan. The """"investigator"""" who called told me that he was experienced and would pursue it. After a week of me having to call him for updates he told me that Ray Duncan had implicit trust in the two plumbers who showed up on the second day. The first worker (who had quit) was not answering the telephone or returning the investigator's calls. As a result of this investigation, it was suggested that I report it to the police because their investigation was complete. Unbelievable! If you hire these people either lock up any valuables or keep your eye on them at all times. I thought I hired an honest legitimate company and although I was in the apartment the whole time I did not sit in the room to watch him. There are too many plumbers available for me to ever consider using these people again. Rich N.

Great team and fast service! Proud to have plumber who is fast and polite and professional.

Konstantin Palamar replace two supply valves under our kitchen sink on 7/11/2017. Although only one had shown leak evidence he stated he would replace both for the price of one. I was billed for two valves $324 instead of the promised $162. Billing department stated they would contact the plumber for correction and refund. That never happened although we have proof that he stated he only would bill for one.
