I have had to contact this company on two occasions regarding my septic tank needing pumping. The first time dealing with them I was not impressed with the office. I called them at 11:30am on a Friday to have my septic tank pumped out because it was obvious that it needed it. A tech finally made it to my house after 6pm on a van. When he pulled up I asked him how was he going to pump out my tank with a van? After the tech looked at the area he stated that he did not know why they would send him out here if they knew I needed a pumping. In addition the tech told me that they would not be able to pump it out because it was too late in the day and the area where they took the waste was closed. The first tech could not locate the lid to the tank and had to call another tech to assist him. That took another hour for the second tech to arrive. Once they located the tank lid I was told that I would be second on the list for pumping the next day. I gave the tech my cell number because I had to stay in a hotel since they could not pump the tank out on Friday. Saturday rolled around and it was nearing checkout at the hotel no word from the tech. I had to book another night because I was not sure if they were going to come. About 1pm he called stating that the truck would be there by 4pm. Once again around 6pm the tank shows. The driver was Sheldon McPherson and he was super nice. He and I discussed what all had happened and he made sure he did everything he could to make things right. The second time I had to call them back out Sheldon was the driver again. Once again he was prompt, courteous and his customer service was second to none. If you need a pumping i would certainly recommend you request him. He will explain everything to you and give you the pros and cons regarding everything. He does not pressure you at all, but gives you the tools you need to make the best decision.

i am so impressed and grateful for the service their technical """"Ace"""" provided. I had drainage issues with water not going down quickly. Ace did a thorough job and also cleaned up after himself which was very welcomed. I would certainly use them again.

Had leak under house and made a call for service. They sent """"Rob"""" out that afternoon and he located the problem quite quickly and wrote us up a quote. Rob was professional, knowledgeable, and explained things well. We hired them to start fixing the problem that day. He fixed our problem and we are very satisfied with the results.

I had Roto Rooter come out on Friday 8/10 because when the showers were used upstairs the kitchen sink filled up. My handyman could not break the clog up and my regular plumber was not available. Roto Rooter said they could fix it and they guaranteed the work for 6 months. They spent about 30 minutes and they said they had to snake about 55 feet out but we were good to go. I had to ask them to clean up the side of the house where they had accessed the main drain off the kitchen. We were not good to go because the next morning it was backed up again. When my housekeepers were preparing the house for new tenants and were washing the tubs . . . just one week later . . . you guessed it . . . The kitchen sink backed up. I called Roto Rooter at 10 pm after being on a plane for 7 hours and was told that they would not be able to address this problem for 12 hours. This coming from a company who has the slogan 24/7 service. This is a big problem given that I have tenants who are coming in the morning. I spoke to a supervisor who said they would be at the property before 1 am -- at 1:15 I call and I am informed I have been rescheduled for the next day. I was told that someone called me but I did not answer. I have waiting for the phone call -- of course I am going to answer. This is very bad service -- Still have the problem -- they don't stand behind their work -- and they don't show up. This company blows! I recently purchased a house and needed two very simple tasks completed...hook-up the copper water line (already there) to the new refrigerator, and install a new disposal I bought. I called on Monday morning, and was told they could have someone over at noon. Great! That's fast! However, they could not give even a ballpark estimate and said I would get a quote when the plumber takes a look at everything. But, a plumber didn't show up until 8 pm...after numerous calls and being told one was on his way over shortly. The quote was twice what I expected. He tried to pressure me to accept the quote. Nope....better to get a more professional plumbing service. ______________________________________________________ Update: I was contacted by telephone a few days ago by the owner of Rapid Rooter Plumbers. As a business owner, he was concerned about the review I had written. He apologized for the extreme delay in a plumber arriving...and I do understand that sometimes there may be extraordinary circumstances. However, their customer service/dispatch could have done a better job that day - a least done a better job at keeping me informed as to what was going on. His second concern was about my comment on their estimate. He explained why he had to charge what they were quoting. Yes, they may be valid reasons why they charge what they do, but I don't have to pay for it if I can find someone less expensive...which I was able to do. Sure, I could give them another chance, but I've found a great reliable, and less expensive plumber, so why should I?

My outside pipe sprung a link on a Sunday morning. After a few calls I got Rapid-Rooter. After the water company shutoff the water they were there within the hour. John was professional and did a good job. The price quoted was $450 for 1.5 of work. I figured the fact it was Sunday raised the price. In the end it took about 3 hours. The issue was resolved for which I'm thankful but not sure the price was fair. I didn't have much choice.
