Do not use this company! They overcharged, cut through electrical wires while fixing my pipe leak and now that my insurance company has questions about why they charged so much they won't call either my insurance or me back. I regret using this company!

SHADY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $2000 FOR A LEAKING PIPE, BUT I GOT A SECOND OPINON AND THERE WAS NO LEAKING PIPE. I CALLED TO SPEAK ABOUT THIS FALSE CLAIM AND TO GET MY MONEY BACK. THE MANAGER DID NOT GET BACK TO ME FOR 5 DAYS. I CALLED MONDAY, LEFT A MESSAGE. I WAITED UNTIL WEDNESDAY, STILL COULD NOT REACH HIM WEDNESDAY. CALLED BACK THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. IT TOOK 5 DAYS TO SPEAK WITH ENRIQUE - WHO NOT ONLY TALKED OVER ME, BUT WOULD NOT HEAR MY SIDE OF THE STORY.
They are a franchise business, so each rapid plumbing is independently owned. They have absolutely no customer service. I CALLED THE 800-997-2743 PHONE NUMBER. I LIVE IN FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA. DO NOT CALL RAPID PLUMBING IF YOU LIVE IN THE SURROUNDING AREA. THEY ARE OUT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE AND SCAM FOLKS. WHEN YOU CALL FOR SERVICE, THEY COME RIGHT AWAY. WHEN YOU CALL BECAUSE YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT, IT IS NEAR IMPOSSSIBLE TO REACH THEM.
The details -
I had a leak from my downstairs ceiling and believed the leak was coming from my bathroom, which is directly above this ceiling. I called RAPID PLUMBING because I received their advertisement in the mail. They came out within an hour. They told me that they had to make a hole into the ceiling to figure out the problem. They said the problem was a leaking pipe and it would cost $2000 to fix. I told them I needed a second opinion and called another plumber. The second plumber said there is nothing wrong with the pipe.
I called rapid plumbing to receive the $189 they charged me to make a hole the size of 1/2 a bathtub. I also asked to be reimbursed to patch up this hole, which is $200. They refused to do that, but refund me $51. Which I refused and will file small claims. Enrique, the manager, said that he charges $189 automatically to do the work of making this hole into my ceiling in order to find the problem.
If you found the problem, and we got it fixed, whether by you or someone else, we would be happy to pay the cost because you did your job. But you and your company found the wrong problem, a problem that was not there and on top of that was trying to charge me another $2000 to fix a problem that was not there that you said was. For your mistaken claim, it is your responsibility as a business and only fair to patch up this hole because there was no problem with the plumbing.

Wish I had read the reviews before hand, deeply regret using Rapid Plumbing. We needed someone out here quick so we called them, having never used them before. The men that came out were very nice, but they didn't completely fix the issue - if anything, they added to the problem -and the company refuses to fix it! Talked to the manager and he was horribly rude! Talked down to us and acted like it wasn't his problem.

I would leave a negative 5 stars if I could. My elderly aunt (78) had an emergency leak, her water main broke. They came out the same day and fixed the problem for $3,890.00. I just found out that they came back after the weekend and talked her into getting the following done:
*Upon completion of cctv diagnostic determined existing pipe downstream from cast iron is broken with root intrusion. Customer viewed video. Will need to excavate section of underground sewer in order to repair faulty section. Also recommend to install cipp downstream into clay pipe.* Which cost my widowed aunt (on a extremely fixed income) $12,321.00!!! They did however offer a discount of ($1,190) for being a preferred customer.....great guys huh? In total, my aunt spent a total of $15,600.00!!! I don't know about you but I wouldn't be able to lay my head down at night knowing that I completely screwed over an elderly woman, or anyone else in that manner. Karma IS a thing, can't wait until your golden years......

they really seem to be into the bait and switch. i was told i would get a free estimate and if i didn't it like they would leave pleasantly. didn't do the job and still wanted $50 for nothing. the office said they would get back to me and never did. went elsewhere and got it done.and tried to switch me to buying a new disposal for $500. they only cost about a $100.

Back at in September tony and Jose of rapid plumming did an outstanding job of replacing a broken drain. They worked their asses off digging out the broken drain, and repairing it. They did what they said they would do in the timeframe the said it would be done, for the price they quoted! Oustanding customer service!!!
Since then, I had them replace a drain at my mothers house in San Pedro. Same clean quality work, same outstanding customer service.
I plan on using them for my future plumbing needs!

Well, the main screw in the handle of my shower nozzle was stripped and I couldn't turn off the water. I called Rapid Rooter (because I had used them in the past). Technician arrived, shut off the water supply and made a trip to Lowes for parts. It took him almost 3 hours to fix. He writes the invoice and tells me it's $700.00 but wrote the invoice for $710.00. Of course I'm stunned and asked why it was so expensive. He says ""that's the standard fee"". I reluctantly paid but was confused. I called my husband at work and of course he went off. He's been corresponding with the owner of the company who is ""looking in to it"". Price gouging during emergencies! In my opinion, my bill should have been $300 or less. I might as well used a name brand plumber if I wanted to just give away some money. Beware!

A Rapid Plumbing plumber told my Aunt she needed a new faucet. He said this was an estimate. He then took my Aunt into her dark living room to sign as the kitchen was very bright. She then looked at what she signed after the plumber left. It said 360 dollars. She tried to cancel but Discover had already paid. She was 84 years old at the time and sorry she didn't know about Yelp. These people are heartless scammers. Discover returned 100 of the 360. She never got the faucet from them.

I hired rapid plumbing for sewer and plumbing inspection for buying a house. when I scheduled I provided them details that why i am doing inspection and asked two times the cost of inspection. They told me that inspection is free and they will provide no obligation quote. When person arrived for inspection he asks $379 for inspection. this was horrible as I had no other time slot left when I can cancel him and hired another one and forcefully I have to go for inspection and requested to reduce the costs which they did however later they did not provided me video recording and told that for that you need to pay $100 more.
This was not at all professional.

I needed a plumber for my office and they had a tech out in less than an hour. Clean, professional and walked me through every step. Resolved the issue and found a problem that the landlord needed to take care of. Provided me with a photo of the problem. I would highly recommend their service to everyone. Thank you for handling a nasty problem in a professional manner.
