The company name says it all - they are RAPID! I had a septic tank cleaned and the provider detected roots in the leech line. He recommended Rapid Rooter and I phoned before he left. Raymond was at my home in about 2 hours!! He provided a quote for the services before he began the job. He worked his magic with the rooter and replaced a toilet valve within in hour.

Total rip off. Be careful with these guys. They use to charge a flat rate to clear a drain, but are now $175 per hour. Now there is nothing wrong with charging by the hour, but you have to be honest about it. The plumber they send out to me was not very experienced and in my opinion was a crook, because he probably gets some cut of commission. So there is a conflict of interest and no incentive to be honest.

I recently called these guys out to clear a drain for my business and the plumber that came out wrote down his arrival time a whole 12 minutes before the actual time. And when he left he took another 11 extra minutes to write up the invoice for a single drain which should have already been pretty much done in the proposal. Doesn't seem like much right? But in the end I was billed 1.5 hours. After the 1 hour minimum they bill in increments of 15 minutes for a total of $262.50 (43.75 per 15 minutes). I didn't have a problem with $175 and I probably would have been okay with 1.25 hours at the most. But 1.5 hours was a total rip off and you can just tell when someone is being dishonest when we asked about how did he came up with 1.5 hours he couldn't really explain why his time on the proposal was different from the time he arrived on our parking lot on our security footage. When we called the company the next day, we were able to confirm that their own GPS tracking on their van has a time stamp that supported our security footage. They had no explanation, but we were told to leave a message for the Service Manager, which we did but didn't receive a response.

So I figured since I paid 87.50 more than what I know was right, it's probably not worth the hassle to pursue this and if I can just prevent 1 or 2 potential customers from being ripped off then I've done my part for my fellow yelpers. I will not be and will advise others not to use Rapid Rooter ever again.

I called at 9pm to get emergency service and instead I got someone who was rude and all she was focused on was that I knew it was overtime hours and that they would be paid tonight. Very terrible customer service do not recommend.

Called around 930 am and Charles was here by 1130. He was fabulous! Knowledgeable, efficient, and quick to solve my problem. The back up and overflow of the main pipe turned out to be a clog near the septic tank. Yes we are rural.
I would not hesitate to call again and the Yelp coupon 10 $for 20$ was really a nice perk.

Our toilet backed up and flooded the back of the house about a month after fly by night plumbing guaranteed all was well. It was well after hours and a nice thunderstorm was drenching the property. Rapid rooter was the only only company that would send someone out that night. We were lucky enough to have Charles Mitchell sent out to us. From the moment he arrived he made sure we understood that wherever the problem was he would fix it. He was correct. He was courteous and considerate throughout his entire visit. It took over and hour to find and fix the problem and at nine o'clock at night those are admirable traits. If we ever have any plumbing issues again we are going to give Charles a call.

A huge thank you to Rapid Rooter and Steven for fixing my laundry room issue this morning. When I called this morning I didn't expect to get an appointment within 1 hour of my call. Steven was punctual, professional, and explained in detail the problem and the fix. The total bill came in much lower than his estimate. As a new home buyer, I'm not savvy with plumbing and will definitely be contacting Rapid Rooter the next time I need plumbing help.

Purchased a new gas range just to find that because of the previous gas line placement, the new stove stuck out 6"" from the wall.

I called Rapid Rooter to get an estimate, and an employee, Dustin, was there within the hour. After seeing what the job entailed, he said he could do it immediately and that it would take under an hour. By shortening and repositioning the existing line, he was able to get my new stove to fit nicely and to my liking. It was especially great not to have to wait for a future time slot, and I may have just been lucky with timing, but it was very nice to have such prompt service. I also feel very confident with any of the safety issues that may be involved with gas line repairs.

Thanks again for the courteous, speedy and thorough service. We will definitely contact Rapid Rooter for our future plumbing needs.

Lee provided outstanding customer service. Handling all the logistics and permits for a major sewer line upgrade. He made a costly and not so glamorous repair pleasant.
Also, Steve Y provides excellent ongoing maintenance of our in home plumbing.

Cory took excellent care of me today. He got here very quickly and has great customer service. He didn't leave until he made sure that I was satisfied and I really appreciated that! Very charismatic and does his job very efficiently.

I heeded a hot water line replaced in the bath. His work was slow as molasses, he cut up some pipe but couldn;t repair the problem. making the problem worse. He wanted to use flex pipe to a bathtub facuet that required some structual support. After he spent an hour doing about 20 minutes worth of work he claimed he needed to tear out my kitchen wall to do the finish the job,. At this point it told him to go away, I finished the job on my own with out needing to tear out any kitchen wall.
Needless to say this plumber is more then a little incompetent. I ended up paying $175 to make he problem worse then it was and ended doing the repair my self.
Also he pointed out a problem that would have been a 15 min repair but made no offer to do the repair

I will avoid using the company in the future and would never recommend then
