Recommended Customer Reviews

Our expansion tank attached to Rheem water heater cracked with a hole on it. The water sprung out like a bullet. It damaged our garage ceiling. It was installed in Fall 2016. Only 5 years old. Unbelievable!!! I highly recommend you to give a second check on their work. They chose a real garbage product. My plumber with decades of experience told me that he never saw this kind of failure before. I totally agreed with other reviews that their service staffs were really rude. I was furious with this kind failure, and they said I was yelling at them. They hung up my phone several times. They showed no passion to solve your problem. They only said their service only went for one year with the builder. After that, well, good luck. Here, mine went bad luck with their company's name on the water heater. I wish I could give them -5 if there is a rating of that available. Stay away from them.

I would highly recommend that you stay away from this company. The admin staff, especially Nancy and Tabitha in the Home Service department are rude, condescending, confrontational, and argumentative. I needed to have a toilet replaced under warranty. Because of work schedules and the fact that they can't come after hours or on weekends, I can only make time available once every four weeks. Once a particular toilet was identified as needing replacing, they were suppose to bring it out on the next visit along with parts for another toilet (1 Month later), but did not. The next few months then went from being sick (another month), an emergency on the part of the guy coming out (I was notified 2 hours before they were supposed to get here) (yet another month), and they gave my predestined toilet to another user (still another month). After four months, I can't get my toilet, including one that was slated for me previously. When trying to discuss the issue with Nancy (Department Head), she was nothing but rude and condescending. When asked why did they give my toilet to another job, she exclaimed that it wasn't HER (personal) warehouse that made the mistake (it was her company's... she was just being pedantic). Both refuse to engage in any conversation about the toilet is now 4-5 months before it gets replaced, and I am expected to wait some indiscriminate amount of time in the future before they """"may"""" get any. Instead of being respectful to me in attempting to ask why is this taking so long, Nancy hung up and refused to even schedule appointments. She also wants to heavily deflect blame on the warehouse (that isn't hers) as the culprits in this scenario. When asked if she would be upset or frustrated if the roles were reversed, she admitted that she would be, but I am not allowed to voice any concerns about the lack of action when it comes to dealing with replacing my toilet. At this point, I would pay twice as much to go elsewhere to not have to deal with this company.

Randal Lowe Plumbing is without a doubt the BEST company we've ever used for plumbing issues. Whether we've had an emergency, or just regular service, each technician has been prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. A special shout out to Alex Bolton who handled our emergency call with the utmost professionalism. He worked quickly and thoroughly, explaining the problems along the way in terms we could understand. His attitude couldn't have been better, which made an emergency issue not nearly as bad! But, this isn't an isolated situation, each technician has been fabulous, including the call center folks. Thank you for being our go-to plumber!!

Prompt, through, knowledgeable folks who know their business and do it well. They show up on time. Immediately address issues to resolve issues in the most expeditious manner. Pleasant to deal with at the office and in the field. All of this on top of the fact that they are amazingly quick. Prices are fair. I would not hesitate to recommend Randall Lowe to anyone including my 90 year old mother and be confident they would handle the job to everyone's satisfaction.

This company deserves negative stars, but considering that is not an option, I'm rating it a one star. In June 2017, I bought a newly constructed home from SR Homes. Randal Lowe Plumbing was hired as contractors to install the plumbing. I mentioned """"install"""" since recently it was communicated this company only does construction plumbing and not service plumbing, which in my opinion they are not plumbers. I've had many issues with this plumbing company since moving into the home and these issues were stated to SR Homes especially during the warranty period and after; however, a major issue occurred a few months ago as a result of a defective part installed by Randal Lowe Plumbing. The issue shouldn't have occurred at that point. The pressure reducing valve went bad resulting in the expansion tank bursting. This caused water damage to my garage floor and drywall. I contacted Randal Lowe Plumbing and they instructed me contact another plumber since the item wasn't warrantable. I commented the service of this issue had nothing to do with the it being warrantable; I would just pay them directly. They insisted I contact another plumber. This admission in itself was a red flag that this company isn't knowledgeable about plumbing. The pressure reducing valve should not have gone bad after 2 years. According to the plumber that replaced it, they observed the part was defective. The builder, SR Homes, advised the hot water heater should have been maintained; however, this issue had nothing to do with the hot water tank. The value controls the water pressure from getting too high and no maintenance is required. Because of this defective part and Randal Lowe Plumbing lack of plumbing knowledge, this caused me over $2k to replace the pressure reducing value and expansion tanks and to repair the drywall. I would not recommend this plumbing company to anyone. Stay far away.

Worst plumber service ever. They did the plumbing for my new townhouse in Sandy Springs and took over 3 weeks to have a simple part ordered and installed. Extremely incompetent back office staff. Go elsewhere for a quality plumber

Randal Lowe Plumbing did the plumbing for my neighborhood. I am the third house (at least) to have main waterline to the house issues. The connection from my house line to the main water line was poorly installed and defective connector. Rooter Plus plumbing had to come out to fix it as Randal Lowe would not as they say the warranty expired. Rooter Plus stated that the type of connector used is of very poor quality and is not even being used any more on new houses due to poor quality. The house is only 8yrs old and I would not expect the main water supply to the home to fail in such a short period of time. Randall Lowe provided no assistance. The cost of repair was $1100! I also have the PVC knocking experienced by other review writers. Randal Lowe just said """"that is normal"""". I did not want my walls cut open so that issue remains. After reading all the reviews I am now afraid of what other plumbing issues I will encounter. Randall Lowe Plumbing needs to take accountability for their shabby work!!

I am a new construction home owner with providence group and by profession a new construction home salesperson with pulte group! So this review that I am about to write is with experience and utmost honesty. You can contact me for further reference. Randal Lowe is a shitty plumbing company. Cheap work and poor customer service. Almost with all new homes that they build there is some sort of plumbing issues. Either there is a leak or a over flow and it turns out to be something very simple like not enough plumbers putty put in shower drain which is a $25 fix but when the home is complete and u have water seeping through drywall and causing water marks - that's a $500 repair work! I hope builders stop using them bcz they quote cheap and get bulk orders. Their warranty sucks and they are non responsive. Overall I wouldn't recommend them at all - not that they care! I have had some good experience with using Aaron plumbing services after there was a huge leak from my master shower drain which originally Randal Lowe had installed. I would recommend Aaron services any day!

This company installed the plumbing in this, at the time new house, 5 years ago. They probably did the whole development. There were name tags left on the pipes. When I viewed the house to buy, there was a loud noise in the garage. It turned out to be the hot water circulator. I called to get it fixed, and the lady on the other end, said that they would have to get back to me. Well, 3 weeks later, I'm still waiting. Doesn't look like they back up their work if it isn't a big job.

This review is with total honesty as to my experience, what i was told by the entities involved, and the quotes are to the best of my recollection. This is in no way emotionally driven. As I know companies often use this as a defense to negative reviews. The problem was ultimately fixed. Story time We purchased a home in a spec home community and we were originally told by our realtor that we no longer had a builders warranty because they dont transfer , we were second owners in a home that previous owner had for one year due to work relocation. (lesson 1...always speak to your building association for warranty information, do not listen to your realtor) Flushed the downstairs toilet and heard a loud thud under the floor and then toilet backed up and plunging caused a backup in the tub. Fast forward passed my auger/plunging attempts. Under the assumption I didnt have a BUILDERS warranty, again, for stupidly listening to a realtor and also knowing this was not covered under my 1 year HOME warranty purchased with the home, I contacted a plumber (not Randal lowe) , they came out, ran a camera, bent a couple auger blades, and then realized it was a large chunk of concrete blocking 95% of the pipe. That plumber was able to get some smaller rocks and debris moved so water could now flow, but no solids. (Obviously this was a construction issue, there is no other REASONABLE explanation). This plumber said only option is to bring up the floor , break the slab, cut the pipe. Here is a quote for about $3,500. Well no freaking way am I going to pay for negligent building issues. I knew Randal lowe was the plumbing service for my neighborhood. So I called them and spoke with an on call tech Kyle. Kyle was very polite the entire time, not confrontational in the slightest. I said hey there is a large chunk of concrete in the pipe which obviously is from during the construction of the home. His initial reaction after he called his supervisor was """"we will get a crew out there right away"""" and do an overnight project and fix it. """" I said """"to confirm you know I'm not hiring you right?"""" """"No man you're good, you re covered under warranty"""" """"okay, I'm the second owner of the house"""" """"ohhhhhh... """" calls supervisor again and then says """"yeah supervisor said your warranty is expired so call XYZ plumbing service that's who we refer all of our out of warranty work to."""" """"Wait a minute, this is due to YOUR negligence when you built the house. This is a construction issue"""" """"yeah man i am just the messenger and my supervisor just said 'tell him I looked up his warranty, its expired, call XYZ plumbing"""" I asked a few more questions and got the same """"blah blah I'm just the messenger,....my supervisor said"""" """"can I talk to your supervisor then? I'm not looking to get you in trouble but I have questions that you dont know the answer to about the warranty"""" """"ummm...I can see if my supervisor is okay with me giving you his number """" """"well I dont care, give him my number, no offense but I absolutely hate talking through a middle man"""" """"no I understand, I will tell my supervisor your concerns and if he feels inclined to talk to you, he will call"""" (no call....shocking... a juvenile lack of accountability and professionalism. Minus 1 star) One thing I do not tolerate is people dodging their responsibilities as supervisors and hiding behind their subordinates. This """"screw him I'm not talking to him"""" attitude is pathetic at best. The next day I finally get to speak with my builder who right away says """"this is 100% a construction issue and you are covered under your builders warranty. Yes it transfers ownership. Plumbing is covered under the second year of the warranty, especially when it is construction related."""". EVENTUALLY, after a couple days and attempts they sent out the correct personnel. The day of demolition project, the problem was solved in 10 minutes by a supervisor who put a hook on the end of the camera and dragged it out.....no demo needed Positive: problem was solved by creative problem solving supervisor. Negative: 1) misinformed about builders warranty details. Had this been an emergency and they refused to come out and had I, in desperation, contacted the plumber they referred me to, would have cost me thousands. And because it wouldn't have been pre approved by builder, I wouldn't have been reimbursed. 2) zero accountability by on call technician and supervisor on the first night. Both hiding behind one another 3) Appears to be terrible internal communication. Everyone who I spoke with didnt know what was actually going on and """"just does what they are told"""" .
