Recommended Customer Reviews

I called this company because they did the plumbing for our new house by the builder. My husband is a Disabled Vet and They gave me the 8-12,12-4 time blocks. Due to my husbands schedule for his care, I asked if I could have the last appointment in the first block or first or second appointment in the second block. Basically between 10-2. They said they could not give specific appointments. Poor customer service. They are about their company, not their customers. Not too difficult a request for the disabled veterans. I called another company and I got next day service.

Stay away!!!this company is a scam! Over charging you for services and will not come back if there are any problem. Avoid using this company. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you hire these guys and something goes wrong they will take no responsibility. Zero star!!!!!

I used Randal Lowe to move a pipe that supplies water to my refrigerator. The plumber showed up on time, was very courteous, and did a great job. I will use Randal Lowe again the next time I need a plumber.

This company does shoddy work and then fails to stand behind it. If I could give Randall Lowe 0 stars I would, so beware, especially if you build a house and they are the chosen plumber for your builder. Here's why: In our multi-story home with an unfinished basement, this company failed to spend a minuscule amount of money to put small pieces of foam between the PVC water pipes and the wood studs in our home. The result of this lack of buffer/insulation is that during winter, whenever hot water runs through the PVC and it rapidly expands and contracts due to the temperature differences, we hear the equivalent of a knocking sound inside our walls. This occurred in two different locations in our home, one inside drywall and the other (fortunately) in the ceiling of our unfinished basement. When Randall Lowe sent their warranty plumber our to service our complaint, even he noticed that had just a 2 cent piece of foam (and a couple of extra seconds of work) been used between the PVC and the stud, the problem could have been avoided. Luckily, that work was easy. The pipe inside the wall required the drywall to be cut and repaired afterwards. Randall Lowe only serviced this complaint because our home was still under warranty, but the complete laziness and lack of attention to detail when the work was first completed is unacceptable. My second experience with this company happened today when the drain line between our dishwasher and garbage disposal failed, causing gallons of water to cover our kitchen floor, ruining the hardwood surface. I called a plumber to inspect and diagnose the problem, and he immediately noticed the incorrect installation of the rubber gasket that connects the drain hose to the disposal. In our case, someone cut the hose too short, so rather than just cutting a new hose to the proper length, they stretched the rubber gasket at a 90 degree angle to make up for the inadequate hose length. After 4 years, this rubber piece wore out prematurely and cracked, which caused our water damage. To make matters worse, because this was a garbage disposal line (as well as dishwasher), the water going through it is likely to be contaminated with bacteria, food particles, etc., so now we have to undergo water damage mitigation that includes microbe treatment. When I called Randall Lowe about this and explained the problem, they informed me that their warranty was only 2 years, and that the work was done properly the first time, signed off by our builder and us. When I asked their supervisor if he expected this installation to fail after only 4 years, he deflected by saying he'd have to research the part itself and """"google it"""". I hardly expect an experienced plumber to need to look up a routine plumbing installation procedure on Google, not to mention the fact that they almost became indignant with me when I asked them to stand behind their work and at least inspect what they had originally done. They refused. This is one of the worst companies with which I have ever had the displeasure of interacting. They seem to rest comfortably on their large residential contracts given to them by builders such as Sharp, and will only take service requests under warranty, even if their lazy, shoddy installation causes a premature failure out of warranty. Like another reviewer has said, if you had this company install your plumbing, it might be wise to have a reputable firm take a look at the accuracy and correctness of Randall Lowe's work.

Wow, The only thing I can say is if you want good service go somewhere else. I mistakenly ordered a tub spout without a water diver-tor to turn shower on. They knew it and said nothing, installed it with the shower head and completed a little more simple install work and was billed $1,119. The lady on the phone, Amanda, was extremely rude every time I talked to her. I'm very disappointed in the service. Martha

I was a previous customer of Randal Lowe, (Nov2014). Our GC called them again this year (2016) for additional jetting services. The lady that call me (Jessica) to set the appt. was beyond rude. I call back after Jessica hang up the phone saying: """"we don't do service calls"""" just to be treated even worst by """"Macie"""". They website says one thing and their CS says another. I was informed by a supervisor that they have so much new construction work that they are don't take service calls anymore. In another words, we are making so much money that we don't need your business here. I am ok with the fact they can pick and choose their customers. Good for them.. But I should bot be mistreated and talk to in a condescending way just because they have so much work right now.

Randal Lowe was the contractor hired by our builder to install the plumbing throughout my community. For years my community has experienced numerous plumbing breaks which the community is now forced to repair. The community has lost thousands of dollars in repairs and increased water bills. If you are purchasing a new home and this company is involved, I would caution you to have your own inspector review the work to ensure all products are appropriate for the job and to code. Even better, if your builder chooses to use this company...you may want to find a different builder.

Had a leaky pipe in a new construction house that Randall Lowe put in all the plumbing. House is 1 and a half months outside of warranty. Called to see if they could fix it, spoke with a technician named Jeff who was pretty rude and even had the audacity to sarcastically say """"Merry Christmas"""" after telling me we are out of warranty and they won't fix it. It's one thing to deliver bad news with grace, but the way he handled that is just completely uncalled for. I also wonder why there is a sticker on my garbage disposal that says to call them after the warranty is up for discounted service repairs if they aren't willing to do out of warranty repairs because he was trying to recommend a different plumber.

Terrible company that provides half assed work. Had to go through them for warranty work on our new construction home. A simple leaky kitchen faucet was apparently to much of an issue. My home was visited twice by a plumber and he did nothing more then tighten the a screw in the faucet. A temporary fix/band aid. Conveniently, the company has no record of their first visit which was during my warranty period, so now the builder will not replace damaged flooring. I am not very happy, but after the 2nd visit, I decided to watch a simple youtube video and ended up replacing the damaged seal on my own for nothing more than the small cost of $19.99 for parts from Home Depot. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

We were also forced to use this company due to our builder's warranty for a new home. Unfortunately I had to use them twice. The first time, they missed our appointment time and I called back to figure out why they missed the appointment. After being on hold for 20 minutes, I was told it was because of an """"emergency"""" and decided not to inform us until I called. The second time, I called to make sure that they were actually going to be coming on their way to the appointment. Turns out this time, they were also a day off in the scheduling. I was so fed up with these scheduling problems that I asked to speak to the supervisor. Instead, the supervisor told the girl talking to me on the phone that """"someone would be out there"""" after I explained what terrible service this place has. I still didn't get a chance to speak to the supervisor when I asked to specifically speak to her so I could let her know about my experience.
