They refunded the balance due to the tech error. It took a month of calling and waiting for the refund but it was more of a logistical delay. Thank You

I had a small leak under my toilet. I called Rainaldi but I meant to call Rinaldi. No wonder I've been charged double for a wax ring and a flange. They charge me $1100 when I've done the job myself and it cost me 20 bucks. I have been calling them since they double charged me for a pull and reset and I've owed a credit of a $450 only to get the runaround for three days that they need to contact their technician. I don't know any business that can't contact one of their technicians the same day to find out why such a horrible mistake was made. This is outrageous and I can't believe that I called the wrong company it won't happen again. Of course I question the technician when he was there asking why I was being charged so much and he said it was because I needed a wax ring and the flange. Of course I need a new wax ring you remove the flange and the wax ring is gone it's not a double pull and reset. He was rude and now I still have to have them come back out because the toilet is rocking it wasn't even reset properly. Customer service is poor and they try to sell you a package for service when they're there the whole thing was just a joke

I have been using Rainaldi Home Services for at least five years. We own two homes and the employees are always pleasant, personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and neat. I have used them for everything from a leaky faucet to a complete re-pipe. I've used the HVAC services and found the same level of professionalism. And the best part...they are reasonably priced and stand behind their work!

Bottom line is that the technicians need better management support structures to provide proper customer service AND if you need a tank-less water heater repaired, Rainalds will NOT provide you with a fast or economical solution. I called Rainaldis back since they helped with a malfunction on my tank-less water heater a few months ago. I was a little bit surprised that I paid over $250 for a relief valve, but the unit stopped overflowing water again and John was very professional. This most recent time, our tankless water heater failed on 1/31/18. The first 2/1 appointment was cancelled without notification. The second 2/2 appointment was moved to the third day on 2/3. When John arrived, he acted very professional again, unfortunately he didn't do anything as I had already troubleshot the unit. Furthermore, he clarified that he wasn't the best tech to be helping with a tankless unit. Why after 3 days wasn't a tankless technician dispatched? Finally, 6 days later Nick arrived to take a look at installing the Takagi TK4 unit we had finally purchased on our own to avoid a high markup. Nick provided a few options, none of which included a same or next day repair. Again, Nick acted politely, but only provided excuses for why he could not meet our request...why wasn't a plan or options conducted before they showed up? Nick went on to share a labor rate for install of over $1700...as he agreed, for about a 4 hour job, which equates to over $400/hr! As a result, my family waited 3 more days until I came home from traveling from work to repair myself. After purchasing a few materials, I finished the job by myself in about 4 hours.

Do not give them your credit card! I was charged for a service I did not receive. I had used them in the past, and I guess they had my card on file.

The whole process with my experience from diagnosis to installation was great! Barry, Victor and Jeff were the guys that installed my unit and they were professional, nice and made the install seem like a piece of cake. I would definitely recommended them to anyone needing AC work

I called Rainaldi Home Services to have my A/C checked and repaired. I mentioned that I was military and I was told to just mention that to the service repair person when he comes out and he/she will apply a discount. The person who came out to perform the repair was prompt. He identified the reason the A/C was not working and had the replacement part on hand (capacitor) to finish the job. Overall, a decent experience except for the price I thought was a little bit steep and the fact the service repair person said they did not do military discount; I felt a little deceived. Also, I noticed after the repair person left, did not put in the outdoor compressor panel screws back in, and left the outdoor fuse box panel door wide open. A good thing I make it a habit to check behind people that perform work for me, or else the next major rain storm could have caused electrical shortages.

My complaint is probably not with the workmanship...only time will tell on that...my complaint is as landlord living in a different state trying to make sure my tenants have hot water on a cold day, I feel like I got screwed on pricing. Their 'Set Fees' policy means I had to choose between $270 to perform a good diagnosis and fix the likely problem, but if the problem ended up needing the new water heater, I had to pay the $270 plus the $1,250 installation price (and they would not break up the invoice into labor and parts so I could tell how good a water heater I was getting). Seems like a scam to make me pay $1,250 for a $700 water heater (found on google afterwards) that took 2 hours to install. $550 labor for 2 hours. Basically, I had to make sure my tenants had hot water and paid these yahoos way too much for a new water heater.

They came and redid both bathrooms and replaced my rotted cast iron pipes for half the quote I received with ACE. Then, we used a contractor that Hunter referred us that redid both bathrooms for 12k. It was such an amazing experience under a stressful situation. They even gave me an outdoor hot water shower... they we use more of now. Lol

Rainaldi only cares about profit! I contacted Rainaldi for bathroom repair estimates. The quote I received for each repair was astronomical (shower leak $1,400, sink faucet leak $440, and toilet $344). The toilet is only 3 years old and I'd paid $400 brand new. When I questioned the technician about the pricing he said """"that's the cost of doing business."""" As a teacher, and widow, I don't have that kind of money. I ordered the part from Amazon for $34 and fixed my own toilet within 15 minutes. This company was going to charge me over $300 for 15 minutes of labor. They are truly an unethical company!
