My complaint is probably not with the workmanship...only time will tell on that...my complaint is as landlord living in a different state trying to make sure my tenants have hot water on a cold day, I feel like I got screwed on pricing. Their 'Set Fees' policy means I had to choose between $270 to perform a good diagnosis and fix the likely problem, but if the problem ended up needing the new water heater, I had to pay the $270 plus the $1,250 installation price (and they would not break up the invoice into labor and parts so I could tell how good a water heater I was getting). Seems like a scam to make me pay $1,250 for a $700 water heater (found on google afterwards) that took 2 hours to install. $550 labor for 2 hours. Basically, I had to make sure my tenants had hot water and paid these yahoos way too much for a new water heater.

I have been happy with their professional office support and technicians. They are quick to follow up on any issues that come up. I have taken advantage of their Maintenance Contract in previous years and will continue to do so.

Terrible experience. Called them to fix the A/C as an emergency service. The tech cane out and allegedly fixed it. They charged around $700 for the emergency service and left. After 15 min and realizing the air was still not cooling, I called them back but the tech told me I would have to wait until he finished with the next customer before he could return to our house. Extremely unprofessional and they lack the knowledge and skill to do their job.

First time using them. I had a great experience. Cole was very professional and explained the issue clearly so I could make an educated decision. I called around noon and by 2 pm they Cole had already arrived. He went the extra mile to fix the problem. Highly recommended. Will use them In the future.

I'm a Realtor and I often need to hire a variety of different service contractors for different things on behalf of a buyer or seller. In this case I needed to have the polybutylene plumbing system inspected on behalf of my buyer's insurance company. Rainaldi was recommended to me by another agent, so I called them yesterday and they set an appointment for this morning with the tech instructed to call me with 30 minutes advance notice. So, I'm on standby all morning and no call. No big deal, right. They're probably busy and running a bit behind schedule. Very common in the service industry. I wait until 1:30 and call the office to make sure everything is ok and that I'm still on the schedule for today. They verify that yes, I'm still on the schedule for this afternoon, but there's no way to give me a time. No worries. I understand that this is normal, so I sit by the phone all afternoon waiting for the tech to call. Well, 4:45pm comes rolling around and still no call. I call the office again and they say the tech called me at 4:30 and there was no answer, so they sent him to another call and I'll be next. What!!!! I've received calls all day with no problem whatsoever, but I somehow missed the one call I've been waiting on all day?!?!?! I checked my phone and there was no missed call. I repeat, no missed call. Anyway, still not a big deal since the tech is still coming, so I verified they had my number down correctly and continued to wait on standby. About 5:15 the tech calls and informs me that if he comes out now it will be considered an after hours service call and I will be charged overtime rates that's almost double what I was originally quoted. Seriously?!?!?! They are the ones who scheduled the call for this morning and after making me wait an entire day, they try to screw me over and charge me overtime rates because they couldn't make it before 5:00?!?!?! I am completely stunned that this company would behave in such a incompetent, unprofessional and unethical manner without even batting an eye, especially to a Realtor who has the potential to bring them thousands of dollars in future business and referrals. I suppose I should consider myself lucky because if this how they treat their customers, I'm scared to think what might have happened had they actually performed any service work at my clients house.

While to my knowledge they did OK with my replumb, trying to get them to correct any issues after you have paid them is an exercise in futility and frustration. Just one example of several is the fact that my main water shut off valve no longer has a handle. I consider that to be an important detail, but apparently Rainaldi does not. None of my phone calls to them have accomplished anything. If they were trying to wear me down to the point that I would just deal with the remaining issues myself, they were successful.

On July 25th 2018 I've called and set up an appointment with Rainaldi to come to my house and replace my Kitchen Sink Garbage Disposal. Pillar was very proactive and told me that they could send someone next morning and the visit costs $ 39.00 and it would be waived if I hired their services. Ok so about 11:00 AM July 26, a technician arrived at my place, he simply presented himself and walked into my kitchen and saw that the Garbage Disposer was broken and needed replacement and presented me with the following options. $460.00 to replace my garbage disposer with one of the same characteristics as mine. $650.00 to replace with one twice as powerful as mine. As I did my due diligence before he arrived I knew that the replacement to my unit cost $98.00 and the service at Lowes and Home depot cost from $120.00 to $140.00 witch would be around $240.00. At the end I've just bought the $98.00 replacement for mine and replaced it myself, not hard at all, check the videos on youtube, it took me about 30 minutes and saved me a lot. So, guys, don't be fooled by the vans and the uniforms, they will rip you off if you let them. I had to pay my $39.00 for the visit, he should have bought at least a cupcake for this money.

We run a home cottage bakery so we are very active in the kitchen baking cupcakes and brownies as well as frying empanadas. Our AC broke down so we contacted Rainaldi because our home was 95+ degrees. A mechanic was supposed to come the next day between 12 and 6. Nobody showed... Not even a phone call or text message to let us know they couldn't make it. The next day... Nothing again... not a word

Purchased a home that rainaldi did the new hvac and ac install in 2016. Two weeks after moving in the ac stops working. Rainaldi came out and determined it was a bad motor which was under warranty. Charged us $79 for the diagnostics but couldn't get the part until next day. They explained to us that labor would be around $860 to install the motor it had to get it next day from carrier. The next day the guy shows up with the part and has it installed and running in about an hour. What would have a been a very positive review is highly overshadowed by the $866.90 charge for labor on top of the already $79 charge to come out. When we agreed to the cost we had not idea the fix would take under an hour. That rate I was told was a flat rate and would have been the same whether he was there 1 hour or 6. What a rip off. Please be careful I feel scammed. I don't mind paying what is reasonable but I don't know many people in any profession who make $866.90 an hour.
