I was referred to this company by someone I trusted...he agreed to do a simple job (snaking a kitchen sink) for one of my tenants. He was due between 9 - 10 am. At 9:38, he texted that he was stuck on a job before heading to me and wanted to let me know. Then he completed dropped off the radar. No response to calls, texts, nothing...late in the afternoon I was forced to call someone else to do the job. Very bad business. Nothing short of a near-fatal car crash should cause that kind of behavior!! Thank God it wasn't an emergency!

Bobby came in person to provide a quote. He clearly communicated his plan to address our drainage issues. His team arrived on time and always left the job site clean and neat. Multiple neighbors commented on the neat appearance even when there was a giant hole in the yard to access the drain line. After work was complete, the crew put the sod in the front yard back together very carefully. They took great care to preserve as much of the grass as possible.

This job included interface with a code inspector. Freddy and Leo were highly professional and took care of these issues. This experience made me glad that I found Purua Plumbing. I will look for the opportunity to do business with them again.

We had toilets backing up on a Saturday forcing us to close shop. Robert responded quickly and was able to clear our drains same day! He took the time to run the camera and show me likely causes. He's now my go to plumber in Long Beach!!

This review is solely based on communication. Recieved a quote right away. I believe I was speaking to the owner. We exchanged text than radio silence for awhile. The next day I reached out again got I response via text. When I tried to call because I was tired of texting and needed answers I went to voicemail. I recieved a text 1 minute later stating I would get a call back in a bit. This was Monday. Monday came and went and so did Tuesday never heard back.

If you need a trustworthy plumber use them! I was personally helped by Robert and he was amazing! He came within an hour on short notice as I urgently needed it and was able to come the very next day with 3 other workers to get the job done. The prices are reasonable and they're willing to work with you. Thanks to you and your team.

I submitted a request for a quote last night at 10 pm and I had a response in less than 15 minutes. I described the nature of our leak and he gave me a ballpark amount. They came out today for a free estimate, on time I should add, estimate was as expected and reasonable and the work was done in 30 minutes. Will definitely use this company again in the future if the need arises!

Update 12/2019:
Our water heater was over 15 years old and I'm pretty sure I heard funky noises coming from it over the past year. We were also starting to run out of hot water towards the end of showering. When it started to leak from the outlet valve (I doubt that's the right term, sorry) at the bottom of the tank, I knew the end was near. I called Purua plumbing again and got a call back within 20 minutes. And it was Sunday night too! After a quick check on the tank (and may I repeat, on Sunday night!) Robert helped us decide on a replacement and by the next day the job was done! I Wasn't planning on such a large expense during the Christmas season, but it was reasonably priced. We're very happy with Purua plumbing and definitely recommend them!

Had to change my review- We paid a 3K deposit for a ""broken pipe"" to be repaired and then he gave us the run around for a month, with the insurance etc. He wouldn't answer phone calls- or return texts.
It wasn't until I had the credit card company do a charge back of the money that he was returning my calls to get it scheduled.
Meanwhile had 2 other companies come out and camera..... NO BROKEN PIPE after all.

The reason its 2 stars is because prior to this- he was good, responsive and professional.
