Ralph did an outstanding job in replacing our broken and leaking water heater. He was on time (actually early), friendly and professional in explaining the total installation process as well as to how to take care of the water heater so that it would last longer. Ralph had us up and running in a very short period of time considering he had to pick up the new heater and then install it etc.

We had a pipe burst and woke up to a potential disaster. Jonathan Dickerson, Pure Plumbing owner was at our house in less than an hour and assessed the situation and went into action for us. After American Response completed their report Jonathan dispatched Justin Fallon on his team and he not only replaced the faulty pipe but gave us some very valuable tips on how to avoid this from happening again and precautions we can put into place. We will be using Pure Plumbing from now on!

Jan. 24, 2025 - Ralph Hermosillo came out to drain my water heater. It's working fine but it is 15 years old. He decided not to drain it or the sediment inside would break away from the walls - then it would leak and there would be a real problem. Some day it will stop working and I will call again at that time to get a new one. He was very honest and didn't try to sell me a new one now. It wasn't leaking and was OK. Their honesty is very refreshing. No charge for the visit.

We had a backed up kitchen sink that my husband couldn't get unclogged. We called Pure Plumbing and they said they would be out between 1-3 same day. Kastan their tech called and said he had availability sooner if I would like and if I course I said yes. He showed up about 20 minutes later and gave me some options on the unclogging. I went ahead with the jetting and I'm glad I did. It was horrible years of slug that he got out. Anyway I would highly recommend Pure plumbing and their tech. Kastan was very professional, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeably. He worked quickly and cleaned up perfectly. I will definitely be using them again if the need arises!

I used Pure Plumbing in October 2024 to replace a tankless Water Heater (that I supplied) They did a great job and I would have given them a 5 start review but in January 2025 there was a leak on one of the fittings they did. I called and they sent someone out in 1 hour to fix it. Leaks happen and the most important thing was the fast, polite no hassle response I got. Companies need to not only perform the job they are paid to do, but to back their work when something goes sideways. Thank you and would recommend them!

I would have left 5 stars if it weren't that Kastan didn't tighten the gas line to the water heater enough which caused a gas leak. Kastan came on Thursday to replace our water heater. The next day I noticed a strong gas smell in our garage. I shut off the gas valve at the water heater and called Pure Plumbing. It went to an answering service. The agent was not helpful at all. They just said to call the fire department or the gas company, and then to call them back after that. I called SDGE and a technician showed up within 2 hours. He sprayed some soapy solution at the gas line and you could see a lot of bubbles coming out. He tightened the connectors on the gas line and the leak stopped.

This is overall very poor service from Pure Plumbing:
1. Kastan should have checked his work and made sure all his connections were tight. The SDGE technician said that the gas build up in the garage could have caused an explosion if we had not been in the garage for a few days.
2. Pure Plumbing management never reached out to me to follow up or apologize, although the agent from the answering service said they would let them know about the leak.
