Needed a replacement water heater after a leak. We decided to go from tank to tankless, which was a big change. PWH gave us the lowest quote, explained why the bells and whistles the competitors wanted to charge were unnecessary for our situation, and how they could do the install with minimal modifications. They then did the install quickly (which was key - we had no hot water). We have had one customer service question since then - which was handled same-day. 5 stars.

Outstanding provider.

We had a water heater failure at a very awkward moment. We called Providence, as well as two other companies. Anthony came over the same day, and gave us the most thorough and analytical advice of all the suppliers we saw (one of them we knew and trusted already).

Because of Anthony's high quality analysis of our problem, we actually changed the specs of what we wanted to do. We ended up going with a significantly cheaper solution than we had originally planned for, on his recommendation, for reliability and longevity reasons.

Anthony came back the next day for installation. He completed it quickly and efficiently. The location of the install is awkward and tight, certainly not ideal. Yet his setup was much cleaner and better laid out than the previous setup had been---as an engineer, I particularly appreciate that. Anthony also gave us additional tips, about sealing the location and monitoring it, that had not been mentioned by anyone.

As for cost, while Providence was not the lowest bid, it was definitely not a very high one (comparatively), and I feel it provided the best value. I trust their advice and their services.

In conclusion, I am impressed by Providence (and by its owner Anthony). They appear technically superior, and their advice made a big difference to us. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Our experience with Providence Water Heaters has been excellent. Anthony devised an excellent solution to dramatically reduce our hot water usage, and installed a new recirculation pump two years ago. When there was a minor equipment issue recently, Anthony was immediately responsive, and worked with the manufacturer to replace the faulty equipment (under warranty, at no cost!). Anthony is highly professional, efficient and very personable -- great to work with.

After years going for the lowest costs, i have grown to appreciate companies like Providence who provide value.

Changing from gas to electical water heating can be complicated. However, they walked us though the electrical improvements and, most importantly, the rebates: He did all the paper work.

Yes, it was more up front but you will find out that with the rebates, the cost was the same as gas.
Now, zero gas bill!

You will be pleased with the service during, before and after the work.

Fantastic service! My water heater kind of exploded yesterday, and my neighbor recommended providence. I called them, and they were at my house within 30 minutes with an estimate, and had someone there to install the replacement heater within another 30 minutes. He was done within an hour or so. The whole problem was fixed within 3 hours of the water heater dying. They were professional, efficient and reasonably priced, and the tank and parts have 6 year warranty; labor a 1 year warranty. Definitely recommend them!

Best repair experience I've ever had. When my ten year old tankless water heater stopped working late at night, I called four companies early in the morning. Anthony was the most responsive and only company that offered to fit us in the same day, which was late at the end of his day . He was so knowledgeable, direct and helpful. He quickly identified the issue and worked late to get us a replacement part and restore our hot water that evening.

Anthony discussed a couple different options and made the process simple with great customer service, professionalism, industry knowledge, and superior pricing. I replaced our 30 year old tanked water heater with a new instant water heater. Unfortunately the unit was functioning intermittently. As it was within 1 year manufacturer's warranty, I reached out to the plumber who installed it. The original plumber who installed my instant water heater got bought out by another outfit and they said they wouldn't work on the unit. Bummer.

I reached out to Providence Water Heaters as they were listed as one of the manufacturer's certified installer in our area. Anthony communicated with me promptly and stated that they can send out a tech to review the condition to see whether a warranty would cover it. I sent him some installed pictures and serial numbers. Based on this, he thought that it was a known issue which will most likely get covered. He did also point out a couple of issues by the previous installer and provided a quote. I declined and he was very professional in accepting the decision and allowing the warranty repair to proceed without any added work.

Additionally the tech discovered another issue that was generating excessive noise. They followed up with another warranty call and returned to replace the defective part once it was available.

I really appreciate the honesty, and the professionalism. Thank you.

We had Providence install a Navien tankless heater last April and have been very happy with it.
Anthony and his team were quick to remove the old 50 gallon heater and get the new tankless heater installed, up and running.
We recently had some additional work for them and they were quick, responsive and a great price too.
When searching for contractors price is great but for me customer service is very important.
Providence was great on all accounts!
I can't recommend them more.

Anthony and his crew at Providence Water Heaters installed a tankless water heater for me about 6 months ago, to replace our old hot water tank that was inefficient and leaking. They showed up on time, worked through an issue that came up, and had the tankless unit up and running by the afternoon. They did an excellent A+ installation using high quality copper connectors designed to last and it looks very nice and tidy. The plumbing is setup for easy maintenance connections.

They returned a couple of times to add an accessory and adjust the drain connection. I had already paid for the job, and they still returned in a timely manner, arrived on-time, and completed the work in less than an hour, and it was good work. They also made minimal cuts into the drywall, which were easy to patch. This is EXCELLENT Customer Service.

The overall job was very well done and Anthony is great at communicating and customer service. I highly recommend them.
