Great experience with ProMax and Daniel in the installation of a new tankless water heater, to replace a standard water heater!

I collected 4 bids and Daniel was the most competitive on a Navien tankless system. Because of my work schedule he did the install on a Saturday. He showed up right on schedule and got the job done professionally with no issues or surprises.

Because I was transitioning from a standard water heater to a tankless, I had a lot of questions, especially on how to incorporate my smart plug recirculating pump. Daniel was very patient with my questions and even contacted the manufacturer to research some of my questions.

Great service and competitive price! Our water heater was broken on Saturday, I thought no one could replace it for me during the weekend. I called Daniel, he did really understand the situation and sent technician out on Sunday. After a few hours of work, we had a brand new water heater and everything was cleaned up. If you need a home water filter system or basic plumbing work, he can do it all. He also helped us with a home closing inspection request in a timely manner. I got a few quotes to replace my old direct water heater that was already on ""borrowed time"". Daniel from Pro Max was prompt to respond over the Yelp app and eventually came and provided a quotes that were very reasonable compared to what I had other vendors quoted me at. After meeting him, I was confident that he could perform the job. He provided me various options I had to choose from including attempting to find another direct vent water heater to replace the current one with along with a non-condensing tankless water heater and a condensing tankless water heater. After going over the pros and cons of each, I chose the condensing Navien NPE-210S water heater based on Daniel's recommendation of my current gas line setup and durability of the unit. He was able to perform the work the same week after the quote was provided and the job took about 6 hours. During the straightforward install we realized that my pressure regulator for the entire condo was not functioning correctly and he was also able to install a new one in the midst of the tankless water heater job. Daniel made sure to cover all indoor walking paths with plastic covering to ensure my wood floors would not get dirty/damaged. He also vacuumed and cleaned up all the areas he perform work under. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the work that Daniel provided and would use him for any sort of plumbing needs in the future. The water heater so far is working out perfectly and the labor/parts warranty that came with the install has instilled additional confidence that any issues that may occur the future would be taken care of.

Work is excellent. I am an architect and have worked with many contractors over 25 years, and Daniel's work is top notch! Plus, he is reasonably priced, and very neat. You won't have to clean up the jobsite afterwards which is atypical of contractors unless you insist. I found Daniel to be very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and creative with problem solving. I just recently had a water softener installed, and was concerned about anchoring it to the wall which required drilling and potentially cracking the existing siding which is a thin fiber cement board that is no longer available on the market. He came up with a solution to bury the tanks which is nice and stable without touching the wall and will not corrode underground. All copper piping is straight and joints well connected so I am very pleased with the installation. Before the softener installation, he also performed the maintenance on my tankless water heater. Again, he was very efficient and work well done. I have complete confidence in Daniel and highly highly highly recommend him! He will be my ""go to"" for all my future plumbing needs.

Daniel saved me $2700. I have a 15-year old Takagi tankless water heater that had not been serviced until this year. It was beginning to cut out during showers, and making a loud kaboom sound when it started up each time (yes, scary). I used Yelp and called someone (not ProMax) with hundreds of 5-star ratings. They came out and worked on the unit, along with Takagi service people on the phone. They did not fix either problem, but did send me an estimate on replacing the unit. I called another Yelp listing with hundreds of 5-star ratings, and they said it would be a waste of time to repair it with a ""band-aid solution"", and gave me another $3000 estimate on replacement.

So, as a last effort, I called ProMax and Daniel came out and fairly quickly fixed the kaboom problem. He said that doing a descaling might be in order. So, after giving a few weeks to see if the kaboom ignitions were really solved, I called Daniel and set up the descaling appt. It was difficult, since my unit had not been plumbed with descaling in mind. But, $300 later, my unit works like new. It has been a week, and I no longer have to turn on the hot water at the sink to make sure my hot water continues to stay on in the showers. And, he didn't need to have Takagi on the phone to walk him through either of these procedures. This guy knows what he is doing!

Daniel was awesome! I had gotten 5 separate bids and Daniel's rates were very reasonable compared to others. He is licensed so there were no worries there. He communicated with me clearly from the start - from responding to multiple emails answering my questions prior to his arrival to great customer service while he was here. He was honest, efficient, no-nonsence, kind and delivered a great product with ease. I would highly recommend him.
