We've been using Prodigy for a few years now with any plumbing issues we have. They have always been prompt, fair pricing and best of all always have fixed our issues.

Couldn't do business with them even if I wanted to. They sent a technician out to inspect the property, provided an unclear quote, and stopped responding when asked for clarity on the proposal. The technical did not answer calls nor return them. Called in and spoke with dispatch on two separate occasions and they never followed up after ""escalating"" the request to their service department. Complete radio silence, and I ended up getting the work done with another plumber at a fraction of the price. If they lack this level of communication even to try to win the business, I would be concerned about their ability to communicate during a paid job.

Showed up 1 hour earlier, worked whole day very hard, and completed the job in one day. He stopped the leak from the shower handle by replacing to a new one. Excellent job as usual!

Once again I am completely satisfied with the response and work done by Prodigy. They are our go-to for plumbing issues. We had a leaky sink drain. I was able to get an appointment quickly. The guys arrived on time and took care of the leak and snaked our bathtub drain while there. Prodigy had replaced the drain back in 2021. We use it a lot so I was perfectly ok having to pay for the replacement, but they did it at no cost. That kind of customer service is why we keep coming back.

My rating for Prodigy dropped when I was forced to Yelp to provide a review. That's something that should be voluntary based on the degree of service received whether its positive or negative. When you force the review to a social media platform, you get what you deserve I suppose.

After missing two days in a row causing me to juggle appointments and plans to accommodate Prodigy, the tech Mike finally came out and did do a fine job overall. This despite him having to leave for almost 1.5 hours, to get the Moen device that was to be installed. The job was handled well enough and the pricing for all work performed was very reasonable compared to other bids I rcv'd.

These folks seemed to want to do an efficient, cost-effective job for their clientele, but they perhaps need to review and revise some of their processes including job prep and communications skills.

If my regular plumber was able to handle the Auto Leak Detect Valve needed, I probably would not have made the call to Prodigy, but they were the one reasonably priced option and despite the hiccups and missteps, I am satisfied with the job and will keep Prodigy's number for future potential service.

My water heater went out on Friday prodigy came same day it needed to be replaced. They said they could install new one the next day took them 4 hrs to install new water heater. Steven Garcia was Very professional I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Needed a toilet replaced, Josh did an excellent job finding the right model and handling the installation.

I called at 7pm and they had no openings (closed) until the next day. I was put on the schedule in a block from 8am to 12pm. And was told that the technician would call with an eta in the morning. My husband took off work to be here. 10am rolls around and no call so he called and said that yes we were scheduled 8am to 12pm. She would contact the tech and get an ETA. No response. Called at 12pm. Asked what was wrong and the lady told him he was on the afternoon schedule.

Nope. Never again. Called Norwalk Plumbing and they were in by 3pm out of 330.
