I don't know how they got five star here, but my personal experience is very bad. The guy arrived a little late, but that's ok. It took him about 10 minutes to look at the clogged toilet, and he told me the reason is the pipe is damaged by the tree roots, though he doesn't know where or how severe is that, he did suggest they need to jam the floor tiles and replace the pipes which will cost 6K or more, and makes a lot of noise. I explained to him that we have a new born baby at home, is there any other way we could fix the problem or should we bring some equipments to identify the problem future. He refused and said he is pretty sure we need to do new pipes, he even said if we hire other plumbing company to examine the problem, the solution will be the same. But we felt uncomfortable just going ahead, so we hire other company to examine again, and things turn out that the pipe is perfectly fine, the roots growing from under the bathroom tiles, and doesn't damage the pipe. So we don't need to do anything about the pipes, just cuts the roots and prevent them from growing back from the tiles under.

Roto charged me $250 for spending 10 minutes to examine and giving me the wrong solution, and it takes them about 3 weeks to send me the further action proposal and invoice which the guy said he could do it within 1 business day. Totally a waste of money and time!!! Never use them!!!

Best plumber on peninsula. Had a loose fitting on a sump pump they installed last year. Called and they showed up in less than an hour since it was raining. Corrected the issue, tested and honored their guarantee. They genuinely care about their customers!

My tenant originally hired Pro Roto due to a leaking toilet. They came and decided that a snake was the solution. They charged an astonishing $850 to remove the toilet and snake it. Within two months the toilet once again began to leak. However, this time they claimed the toilet was broken and needed a snake. They then charged my tenant an additional $950. My tenant was later told by the worker that they had broken his toilet in the process which is why it needed replacement. They claimed the toilet was old when in actuality it was purchased brand new a little over a year ago. Within one month the new toilet began to leak (third time in 4 months). This time my tenant contacted me in desperation asking about what we should do. I was fairly confident what the exact problem was because this same issue had happened to me around 10 years prior. The toilet needed a double wax seal since the ground plumbing pipe was at an offset angle. I advised the plumber that this was most likely the issue but he decided to become extremely defensive claiming he knew exactly what he was doing. They wanted to once again charge a fee to remove the toilet and investigate what was wrong. After a verbal back and fourth regarding how this shouldn't be happening in such a small time frame. I advised them to leave my property. I had the toilet pulled and verified that the issue was indeed the wax seal. I documented my case with images and receipts and plan on proceeding to small claims court over the issue. My tenant is out almost $2000 for something that in reality should have only cost around $300. This company will take advantage of you if you are not familiar with pricing and plumbing procedures.

Issac came by to review the work for an estimate. After assessing the issue I had he recommended that a simple change out of the faucet was all that was needed. He explained to me what I needed to do and we both agreed that I was handy enough to do the work myself. No pressure to sell the job, offered his advice and services If I ran into problems, very professional. I will definitely use him again if I need other plumbing work around the house. Thanks.

The service was phenomenal! Our water heater went out last night, I called Pro Roto the next morning (on the Saturday after Thanksgiving), and Isaac (business owner) came out that very afternoon. It turned out that our water heater needed to be replaced rather than repaired, and Isaac was able to secure a new water heater within a few hours. Everything was finished within 2 hours. My family had some major backyard renovations done this summer which I believe caused a leak in the main outside irrigation line to take place. Additionally, the renovations somehow caused 2 of my inside sinks to become clogged with low or no water pressure.

I called Pro-Roto and spoke with Issac who promised to come by in 45 min for a same-day onsite fix on the sinks. Not only did he come on time, he brought along a helper, who happened to be his father, in case it was a bigger job.

He diagnosed the issues with the sinks in 5 minutes, removed the filters from all the faucets, and used a toothpick to clean them all, which completely fixed the problem. He was all done inside 15 min.

I asked him how much I owed him and he told nothing since it was just a quick easy fix. I actually didn't know what to say because I'd never had a professional tradesman show up, fix an issue, and didn't charge. I ended up (out of personal guilt) insisted on paying him all the cash I had in my wallet at that time which unfortunately was only $30. It was well worth it.

As for the outside leak, he gave me some great (free) advice about how and who to contact at Redwood City to see if there really is a leak. And if I find out there really is a leak, I'll know to call Pro-Roto back to fix that too.

Great, professional, courteous, I cannot say enough good things about Pro Roto. Leo was great, he arrived on time, checked everything and gave us his honest opinion. We appreciated that he didn't make us go through unnecessary things. We will definitely use them again if we get any other leak.

I contacted Pro Roto via Yelp last night (Sunday), and Isahak responded quickly and said he'd be busy until about 2pm on Monday (Vetran's Day). I called him Monday morning and he was at my house in less than 5 minutes. He checked out my water heater and told me he would go back to the shop to check his inventory and call me within 30 minutes. About 20 minutes later he called me with an price, I agreed and he was onsite with is crew (3 guys) in less than a hour. The removal of my old water heater was quite difficult due to clearance issues, but he and his crew persevered and finally got it out. The installation was very clean and professional and I was glad to have hot water in the house again. I highly recommend Pro Roto!

It's always a stressful situation when you have a water leak issue, but especially late Friday night.
I am so grateful to Isaac who responded immediately to my call and kindly guided me through the necessary steps to turn the water off.
I was stuck without running water but he and his crew came to work on the weekend, quickly dug a trench and replaced the pipes from the street in one day so that I had running water by the end of the day. Thank you!
I highly recommend their services and give 5 stars for their timely response, great customer service and work quality. Will be calling them again for any future plumbing issues.
