The guy Chilo came because we had asked to fix a sewage drain caused by roots and dirt stuck in the storm drain for years caused by the previous house owner. We agreed on a $300 since the pipe went straight, but at the end he asked for $400 even though spent a total of an hour cleaning the pipes. The worst part is after he left it was still clogged with a bunch of roots throughout the pipe that we had to get out ourselves.

Before he left, he also misinformed us about a misalignment in the pipes and asked us if we wanted to fix it for $900. We opened it up ourselves to find out that there was no misalignment but a bunch of roots clogged that was causing what he though was the misalignment.


That was a total scam. Would not recommend that guy.

This guy Hector scheduled two appointments with me, first time never show. Then Daisey on second time, she scheduled for him to come out again. Appointment was at 5...no show, then I called him at like 5:30, he said he was on the way as he was wrapping up in Castro Valley . No call again & Never show up! He then had the nerves to text me few days later and asked if he can come out to provide a quote. Why would I want to do business with someone who is so unprofessional and doesn't respect people's time? They over booked their appointments and plumbers have no decency to update customers when they can't make it. I would not do business with these guys.

These guys are fantastic. We had two other very high end and experienced plumbers come in to try to fix a blockage, both failed! Then we called Pro Rooter and within 20 minutes of arriving they had fixed the issue.

Ask for Chilo! He is an expert and succeeds where others fail.

We are very impressed with Pro Rooter. We worked with Hector and his crew for a large job. We needed our house main (lateral) completely replaced both outside the house to the street main and under the house in the crawlspace.

We received several bids but chose to go with Hector since he was able to solve our earlier sewer backup and is licensed. He has all his own equipment and didn't subcontract any part of the job.

We are very impressed with his attention to detail and quality of work, after cleanup the yard looks great as well as the street. Definitely recommend Hector and his crew for any job requiring some serious work.

We live in an Eichler in Castro Valley and had a major backup in the sewer line from the kitchen and laundry room. The first plumber that we called got his snake stuck in the drain and could not get it out. Hector from Pro Rooter came out on a Friday night to help solve the problem. He spent about an hour and a half working on the problem and discovered that there was a large break in the sewer line that runs under the concrete slab. The line had to be replaced. Instead of cutting through the slab we decided to reroute the line to the outside of the house and across the driveway to connect to the main line. Hector and his crew are very skilled and they did an excellent job. I would recommend Pro Rooter for large or small jobs.

I choose Richard among all other contractors to repipe my water main and got a very good experiences today! He used a part of underground piping instead of digging up whole path between water meter and water main, saved a time and effort for the repair work later on, as well as kept drive way untouched as much as possible.He finished the piping work in just about six hours almost exactly as he told me at beginning, no any surprise. In addition, the price and warranty are reasonable in terms of this high quality work. I am so satisfied with his work, and will use him again if there is similar issue later on.

I was call Richard last night and he comes to my house today on time, fixed my sink pipeline and charging me the same price as the quote from the free inspection. He is a professional and nice guy. We recently discovered a large 200 gallons/day leak at our residence. When the leak was discovered, we called Pro Rooter plumbing, a highly recommended plumbing company.
Hector and his crew arrived within a couple of hours, and fixed the leak in about an hour.
This leak went undetected for more than a year because we did not check our water bill carefully enough, so that we were very relieved that Hector's crew could fix it so quickly.
