Update: 05/2018, Just had Richard come this weekend to fix our kitchen sick again. Ten thousand stars for these guys, they are always efficient, professional, and so nice!

First review: I highly recommend Richard and his plumbing company. Our bathroom sink got blocked the Monday before Thanksgiving. I let my landlord know that afternoon, but because it was a short week, I didn't expect to hear from anyone until the following Monday. Richard got in touch Tuesday and was willing to come out that night (I couldn't due to my schedule) and even the Wednesday before Thanksgiving! I did not want to make him come out on a day my own work had given me off, but today, the Friday after Thanksgiving, he was here with prompt, courteous service. He fixed our sink in no time, left no mess behind, put things back afterwards. Great customer service and skill level.

My parents highly recommended Pro Rooter (and Richard in particular) when Richard fixed their kitchen sink faucet a couple of years ago. So, on a recent Friday night, when I discovered that I had no hot water in one of my bathrooms, I called Pro Rooter and was pleasantly surprised to discover that Richard could come over on Saturday morning. Richard was very professional, honest, and trustworthy. He arrived on time and was able to diagnose and explain the problem. At first, he thought he might have to replace a few parts which would have been costly, but then he was able to fix the problem without needing to do so. I highly recommend Richard without hesitation and would call him again if I need a plumber.

We had a serious plumbing problem that required a lot of work, we needed to do a total re-pipe job. I got quotes from a few companies,but Hector at Pro-Rooter was the best price. In addition to having the best price, he included more work than the other bids I received.He included a new water heater and changed the pipes from the city line to the property.His workers came on time and worked through the night to get the job done to make sure the tenants had water in the morning. He was available through the whole process for any questions we had along the way. Hector and his crew were very professional and I would definitely call on him if I needed a plumber in the future.

We had a hot water plumbing leak under the concrete floors. Got quie a lot of job quotations and Hector of Pro Rooter provided the best price. Hector and his team suggested to repipe my entire plumbing system with copper instead of just fixing the leak which costs more to fix. When they opened the shower tub and faucet wall, they saw dryrots on the wall and underneath the tub. They suggested to replace the entire shower and tub for again a fraction of the cost and they indeed did a wonderful job. They are good, quick, and neat.

I've used Pro Rooter 3 times. I met Hector 2 years ago and was struck by his personable and professional manner. My fixer needed a sewer line repaired and under the house pipe work that was done poorly by another general contractor.
I found Pro Rooter's bid to be very in line with and actually below other Handymen's quotes. Both jobs were tough and dirty, but the guys were quick, thorough and tidy. Finally, my house no longer 'leaks':)
As I worked with Hector and his guys in diagnosing and pricing my plumbing issues, I never told them of my 25 yrs experience as a business unit manager, negotiating contracts with maintenance vendors for Fortune 50 companies. To most, I appear as woman who lives alone with only a cat. And not once did Pro Rooter disappoint me in the bids quoted and the work they performed.
I will highly recommend them to all my friends in the bay area.

The owner who picked up the phone, Jin, was very reliable. I needed help because I had sewer problems and he stayed true to his word. He was honest and told me that they have a short supply of workers so there would have to be wait. But they were still able to make it to my house on time.
If you have plumbing problems this is the place to call! Definitely going to call them again when I need help.

I called Hector, it was heavy traffic during a Friday. He said he'd come over and showed up and solved my problem in probably five minutes. He was great and very fair. I will call him again with any plumbing issues.

Richard at Pro Rooter did an excellent job! He arrived on time, just 2 hours after I had called for service. He installed a new toilet, removed the old toilet, and fixed a leaky valve. He charged exactly what had been quoted. His demeanor was pleasant and professional. He completed the job quickly with attention to detail. He took the time to clean up after himself too. The toilet and valve have been working very well now. He gave us his card and encouraged us to call if we had any questions. We called him within an hour of his leaving our house regarding the water fill line in our toilet tank. True to form, he answered our question courteously with unwavering professionalism. The next day we called the toilet manufacturer and they verified his response. Couldn't be happier! Will definitely call Pro Rooter for plumbing help again!
