We were turned off by a pushy technician Joseph M, therefore we didn't go forward with the service. He came to our house at 10PM on Friday night regarding a leak in one of the bathroom. After giving us an estimate, he was asking if he could stay and do the job for 4-5 hours into the night, even though the problem was not critical and that it could wait until next week. At first we thought he was kidding, but he kept on insisting and asked if our neighbor would be OK with the noise. When we realized he was serious. We were shocked because that sounded so strange. What kind of business is this? Is it a normal practice for this company to have technicians stay at the customer's house to do the non emergency work overnight? To have 2 perfect strangers in our house late at night for hours. How would that be OK with anyone? Not only it was unethical and unprofessional but it was also not normal.

But that was not all. Before he left, he asked us to give him a review. We told him that we'll give him a review after the job is done, in which we scheduled him to come back next week, due to the fact that he hasn't work on anything yet for us to write a review about.

When that failed, he then asked for video review, he wanted to video tape us on his phone. He showed us some samples and stressed that his company had a contest and today was the last day. He kept on pressuring us in front of our kid, in our own living room late at night, over a review, for the job that hasn't been done. Are you serious? He made us feel so uncomfortable.

That made us wonder if any of this is true and this is how you conduct your business. You need to be more professional and show more respect to your customers. Very disappointed!!!

WOW! What a quick and professional response! Fernando determined what we needed and gave us an estimate. We thought the price was competitive and fair so we immediately agreed to all the work proposed. He was efficient, clean and a pleasure to have in our house. I have used Pristine Plumbing before. This last weekend we feared we had a water leak. They sent a super friendly and knowledgeable plumber named Cameron. He told us right away it probably wasn't a leak and was a pipe expansion problem. After some discussion we opened up the wall and confirmed and a day later everything was fixed up. Cameron was extremely professional and friendly and somebody we'd call for again.

We decided to replace our 18 year old water heater with a new one before the old one broke and caused damage. Since we were not in a hurry, we investigated the different water heaters and contractors serving Irvine. We decided to buy the same type (tank type) and brand (Bradford-White) of water heater. We received three estimates. Pristine's price was in the middle of the three estimates. We decided to use Pristine Plumbing because their cost was reasonable and they were going to do a more complete job than the others (new overflow tank, earthquake straps, and overflow plan, to mention just a few of the parts others did not include in their estimates). Additionally, they were the only company that knew Irvine requires a permit to replace a water heater. When I asked the others about the permit, they said they can get one for an additional $300 when the permit costs only about $42. The inspection went very well and no errors or concerns were found by the inspector.

The installation went smoothly due to the professionalism of the team doing the work. Alex, Jonathan, and Ryan were great as was Johnny, our main point of contact at Pristine. Pristine Plumbing will be my first call if I have a plumbing issues in the future.

Outstanding service! We have used them for a few years and they are always timely and very professional. Most recently, Jim went above and beyond to assist us in dealing with our HOA to get an issue rectified. The process took about 10 months to see it through and he was right there with us all the way. Our Bosch dishwasher showed an error code of E 24 which meant there were drainage issue. I called Pristine plumbing and they were able to send someone out the same day. Our technician Ben T. was amazing. At first, after troubleshooting for a while, the error code still kept coming back. He would not give up and eventually found the culprit. He was extremely professional and I could not be more pleased with the services provided by Pristine. I usually don't leave reviews for businesses but felt the need to with this one. Plus the $50 off was a nice perk.

I called Pristine Plumbing for a quote on replacing a shower drain flange. They came out quickly but their quote of $4800 was ridiculous, even a 10% discount they were overpriced. Maybe they thought a woman wouldn't know any better. I had another plumber give me a $1200 quote which was probably reasonable but ended up fixing it with the assistance of a neighbor who is a general contractor for less then $100 in parts.
