We were quoted 1300 to fix a leak in main water line. This company postponed the first appointment and was two hours late for the second appointment. We used another company that fixed the issue for half the price. All the reviews on yelp were true.I am thankful that i read the reviews and then cancelled the appointment. Please avoid this company. They will attempt to up sale you and they are not there to provide the best service.Again avoid this company.

American Home Shield contractor. Tech was at my house for 5 minutes, said he didn't have pressure valve to make repair. Left, then told AHS that my water pressure was too high (did NOT measure the pressure) and the valve was failing. They denied claim. Glad that you all got paid for doing nothing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT USE OR TRUST AMERICAN HOME SHEILD!

They said I needed to replace one of my water heaters. We had another plumbing company come out and look at it and they fixed it for $400. Instead of $1800 to replace the water heater. I don't know whether they just didn't know what they were doing or just wanted to run up the price.

DO NOT USE ....... We needed a water heater replaced on a home owners warranty. The short story is the first time they came out prior to the time indicated we asked for 30 minutes to cover the carpet. The guy got mad and left. We then spoke with Kathy, the office manager who promised to send out their lead tech and personally monitor the process. When he got there the next day he refused to wear a mask even though I told him my wife and I are elderly and she has surgery coming up next week and has to take precautions. The tech starting cussing me and I told him to leave the property or I would call the police. As he was about to drive away he screamed at me, Fuck you Faggot....... I will be filing a police report.

I have American Home Shield which I am very happy with. They assigned Prime Plumbing Services LLC. I live in Gainesville, Ga. They were going to charge AHS $350 for the replacement water pressure valve but then tacked on a """"modification"""" fee of $620 which they expected me to pay. when questioned about the fee they said the foot or two before and after the valve had to be replaced. Well """"duhhhh"""". quite a hefty fee for a couple of feet of pipe and fittings. Needless to say I found a reputable Plumber to do the same Job for $375. I used First Choice Plumbing in Gainesville Ga.

Like many other people here, I was referred to this company through AHS. After I scheduled, I reviewed all the reviews and then canceled. I then went back through AHS, hoping they would assign me a different company the next time. They didn't, so I canceled again. However, the issue with our downstairs toilet needed to be fixed as soon as possible, so I decided just to schedule and hope for the best. The technician came out as promised, stayed for a few minutes, and told me that once they got the approval from AHS, he would come out and install the new toilet. He quoted me the same price I was quoted from the company directly, so I felt pretty good that this would go well (The technician was very nice and polite). Things took a turn on the day of my appointment. The time I was given was between 11 am - 2 pm. I sent a message around 10:30 that morning to confirm I was still on the schedule. They assured me I would be called when the tech was on the way. At 1:55 pm, I hadn't heard from anyone so I called to see what the ETA was. It was then that I was told that the technician was running late and there were two people ahead of me. When I asked for an estimated time of arrival, I was told they couldn't tell me, but it would be before the end of the day. Which would be when? I was told they couldn't give me a definitive time. I am physically disabled, and the toilet that needs replacing is literally the only one in my home that I can use, so hearing """"we don't know when the technician will arrive"""" was not comforting. The woman on the phone was very apologetic and asked if I wanted to reschedule for another day. She acknowledged that they should've done a better job communicating that the technician would be late, which I appreciated. But absolutely not. I had already wasted one day and was not willing to waste another. I contacted another company, and they came on the same day. Unfortunately, I should've gone with my gut and the reviews I saw online.

The Prime Plumbing Service was assigned by American Home Shield to fix a leaky shower pipe on June 3rd and their diagnosis report was approved by AHS with a $425 out of pocket payment. I agreed to pay this amount and arranged to pay vía cheque on the day of service. When scheduling the appointment Prime Plumbing said that they needed to have two employees on-site for the job so takes a longer time to get an appointment. Finally the appointment date and time was set on June 30th from 1pm to 4pm. On June 30th only one employee showed up late at 5pm and with no idea of what the job details were. He redid the diagnosis and claimed that he needed AHS to approve. We told him the job was approved by AHS on June 3, and he said that he had no idea and did not know of any previous agreement. I then contacted Prime Plumbing and reached the after hours customer service agent, and she was confused too. The next day, on July 1st I called Prime Plumbing's office manager and was informed that Prime Plumbing mistakenly misdiagnosed the job on June 3rd so they redid the diagnosis on June 30th, and now they want $575 instead of $425. I contest this statement as a lie. After the original diagnosis was done on June 3rd and the approval by AHS, the final repair was set for the 30th. Over roughly one month between initial appointment and diagnosis to the date of service, no mention of a misdiagnosis nor the need for a re-diagnosis was ever mentioned. Because of the irresponsible and dishonorable practices of Prime Plumbing I was unable to use the main shower in in my house for more than a month. I have asked AHS to assign another contractor and refund the $100 serve fee back. I'll not pay for misdiagnosis. I'll give the Prime Plumbing Service LLC zero star if I could.

Water heater was replaced by Prime Plumbing in February and on the night of May 31 around 9pm, the water heater was making a loud sound. I emailed and called Prime Plumbing since they are 24 hours and my water heater was replaced by them. I called and left messages of the sounds it was making and pretty much begged for them to call me back since I've never experienced this type of issue before and also considering my water heater uses natural gas, it was concerning to me. I left a voice message asking them to call me no matter what time and maybe I could remedy the situation till they arrived. Didn't want to leave anything to chance, I also emailed them with the video of the water heater so they could see and hear what it sounded like. Despite the sounds, wife and I was able to fall asleep but then next morning around 7:15am, my neighbor is knocking on my door telling me I have water pouring from the side of my home. I assume this water has been leaking like this from 9:30pm the night before to 7:45am the following morning where I was able to shut the water off by turning it off from the mainline from the street. I again call Prime Plumbing (since they are 24 hours) and left another message notifying them of the water and how I turned it off from the main line. I never got a call from Prime Plumbing the night of nor in the morning. I had to call them at 9:30am after they were opened and they had no idea of my situation and told me to make a claim through AHS. To abridge the story, the problem was a bronze valve above the water that was not needed when Prime Plumbing installed the water heater along with this white propane tank looking apparatus above the water heater. My understanding is that the white propane tank functions as the bronze valve. The bronze valve malfunctioned before the white propane looking taking and therefore the white tank could not do it's job. Thus, if the bronze valve was removed since it was not needed, this problem may not have occurred. My belief is that they installed the tank and left the valve thinking that it would never malfunction but it did. I attached photos and the video I left them that night. You call the company and they even say they record all conversations and if you don't want to be recorded to hang up which means you have no choice to be recorded. I would really like Prime Plumbing to review the calls that night and the morning of and also pull my email as well with the video. I went as far as to send the video and text to the number as well hoping it would be a cellphone number. Is this false advertising? Is this negligence? or incompetency? I'm not sure what else to say. This was a scary situation as a homeowner especially with limited knowledge of a water heater and being that my water heater utilizes natural gas, I was definitely petrified of this. The sounds it was making was very loud at first and then subsided to what you hear in the video. If I was scared my wife was on """"10."""" I just really wish this company would have showed a little empathy and compassion for their customers. Often times, people take reviews and complaints so personally but in reality, the customers emotion is coming from the situation and not an attack on you. If they were professional, I just think they would be able to do that. Did you know through this whole process of Better Business Bureau, Yelp, and Google reviews, no one has every reached out to me from this company? In final thought, this company will do exactly what it is and what it is meant to do and don't expect anything more... plumbing.

We specifically requested a technician to do leak detection for a slab leak. After days of no response Prime Plumbing sent a plumber who told me he could do nothing and said he would have someone qualified to detect the source of the leak. We were NEVER contacted again by the company and I called to follow up. I got a very nasty response and a bill for $75. Avoid this company. In my opinion it is not reputable.

This company was assigned by American Home Sheild, I will not talk about the number of times they did not show up for a scheduled appointment. But what was ridiculous was they told me I had to pay $785.00 out of pocket for the parts that were not covered under the warranty company. This included the expansion tank, water line, PR valve. The hot water heater does not cost this much and if anyone is familiar with an expansion tank the cost is about $60, the pressure regulator runs $50-$80. No matter how this was explained to American Home Sheild they did not care and suggested a cash-out, which is $370.00 to purchase the hot water heater, which is not enough. Anyone reading this DO NOT USE PRIME PLUMBING
