If I could give zero stars I would. I wish I read these reviews prior, they all sound familiar. I too was connected with them from American home shield and it took over a day to respond. They came out and did nothing. I asked if they could check crawl space and they wouldn't, which if they had they would have seen leaking sewage under our home. Week later filed again, got set up with them, and they never called. It was an emergency situation and AHS reps nor I could get a hold of them.. and they claim to be """"24-7"""". Mk. Do not trust them

We also were engage with Prime Plumbing via American Home Shield for leaking Shower valves. The tech came out and spent less than 10 mins. total in the house. He fiddled with the shower knobs for a few mins., saw that they were leaking, I stated that the bathroom had been re-done two years ago. The tech stated that they would need to order new valves and as soon as they arrived they would come back out and install them. That's the last I heard from them until I finally called them more than a week later to ask the status of the repair. At that time they said that the 3 valve set up I had was not to code and that code required a single valve with scald protection. I was understandably upset about being blindsided with this news that apparently I would not have known until I called them. When I was surprised that that was the case and that it was not what the tech had told me when he was at the house they said """"Sir, you will not have to pay for it and I need to talk to the tech and then I'll call you back"""". They never called back and I called them again a day later - got a voice mail that said to leave my name and number and they would call back. I never heard back and called again 2 days later on a Thursday. They said at that time they needed to get a estimate from the tech and would email it to me. I never received an email and called them the following Tuesday (4 days later). At that time they said that they were still getting the estimate from the tech. I said, fine - but I'm not paying anything right because it's covered and that's what you said when we talked before. At that time they said that no - you will have to pay as it is not covered under American Home Shield because the valves are not to code. When I asked why they hadn't told me that before they replied that it was not their job to inform the customer using the home warranty - that it was the responsibility of American Home Shield and if I hadn't heard from them - I needed to take it up with them. When I spoke with American Home Shield (a whole different story/issue) they said that Prime Plumbing had said that the reason for the leak was """"Improper installation not to code"""" and that was the reason for denial of claim. Because it was not due to normal wear and tear - but improper installation. That was """"BS"""" as the tech never even looked at the valves - they just turned the water on and off and confirmed they were leaking. The valves weren't improperly installed by the plumber 2 years ago - they just started leaking a few months ago from wear and tear. But somehow the tech could state they were """"improperly installed"""" by simply turning the knobs on and off. And why didn't the Tech tell me when he was there that 3 knob shower valves were no longer under code and would have to be replaced by a single valve!? In addition, when I mentioned on the first call what they would do about the holes in my shower from the 3 valve when they replaced it with a single valve - their response was """"we wouldn't be able to do anything about the holes - just replace the valve"""". Which didn't sound right to me - as there are plenty of 3 valve shower set ups out there and the only thing they would do when called to a job is replace the valve and leave the holes in the shower surround!?

The guys at Prime Plumbing are the best! They serviced and replaced my sump pump! I've had at least 9 different plumbers try and get it fixed they were the only set of plumbers that were able to get it done! The guys know what they are doing and handle with care! Don't leave until the job is done!

We have never had a problem with AHS warranty, until Prime Plumbing came out to look into our pump in the basement, because our toilet would not flush and waste filling up in the bath tub. They came in and determined baby wipes caused the blockage (which is not covered under the plan), this seems to be the excuse this Company uses quite often. This was untrue and no way possible, because this basement bathroom is never used by anyone, other than my husband and myself. We work from home and have 3 additional bathrooms upstairs. They said the pump would need to be replaced and they could do it for a cost $1,000. So no, they would not get a recommendation, be careful.

We used them through American Home Warranty (they need to get better companies) at the end of October. Both of our hot water heaters stopped working. They came out and told us that one could be fixed with new parts but the other needed to be replaced and we had to pay for it. They would not install the new water heater until the parts for the other water heater came in so we were without hot water for 1.5 weeks. My mother who is 83 years old lives with us - it was terrible but they did not care. So 56 days later both the water heaters go out again - I call them directly and they say since it is over 60 days (it is NOT over 60 days!) we need to go through American Home Warranty, pay another $125 and wait a week before they can send someone out. This is terrible service - they are the worst and so rude (my husband called back and the receptionist now claims she did not say it was over 60 days but that we still need to go through the Home Warranty Company - makes no sense)!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using the EVER!!! DO NOT use PRIME PLUMBING SERVICES! Read all the other recent reviews...

Terrible service! Rude office staff... possible fraudulent charges. Will ensure that your home warranty company will not cover your claim so they can charge you.

I had an issue with my water heater, and AHS sent out prime plumbing. I got charged $100 just for the plumber to look at it and say he couldn't touch it because it's installed improperly (covered under the plan I have). Then he write its up and tells AHS wear and tear (not covered) so I can come out of pocket. Would not recommend it.

STAY AWAY!!! There is a total lack of regard for integrity, honesty, and good quality work. I've been forced to use Prime Plumbing through AHS Warranty, since I've cancelled the home warranty and found my own service providers my quality of life had grown exponentially. Prime was called out to my home for a variety of plumbing issues from running/leaking toilet to clogs and repairs. Each dispatch costs me $75 and the guys do nothing but jiggle the handle then leave stating work order closed. I go through this song and dance at least 4-5 times before the problem is actually corrected. By this time I could've paid out of pocket for an HONEST plumber to fix my small time issues. Then April 2020 MAJOR plumbing issues, so I call warranty, they dispatch these clowns. I have sewerage spilling out onto my lawn, they state they will replace main, dig up my yard and all will be replaced with 10 year warranty at the tune of $4,200 they indicated it would take all day to complete. Days prior they delivered a bobcat and it sat in my yard for several days unused as they rescheduled numerous times, on the day they finally decided to show up I left the house (prior engagement I couldn't cancel as I planned my life on their original date) and came back 2 hours later, everyone was gone. I assumed job was completed...early??? ODD RIGHT! Well 6 months after this was done I had another major clog in my system, the plumber came out couldn't understand why I was having so many problems with my lines, but eventually cleared it, then 9 months later another catastrophic clog...same plumber unclogs but scratching his head about why my lines don't have clear line to the street. One week ago sewage backs up into my basement...they determine it's the MAIN lines. The ones Prime installed, turns out there's no fall line. They didn't do it correctly. I call Prime, leave a message....4 days no returned call. I call back and I get to speak with Hailey Brown (don't think that's her actual last name) she laughed at me stating they had a warranty but since I used another plumber to unclog my sink then it would void my warranty. Now mind you nobody dug anything up or did anything that would negate their craftsmanship.. I asked to speak to the owner, she stated she is the owner. According to Business Profile that's a LIE! I ask for the written warranty as they've claimed to issue, however they have NO WRITTEN WARRANTY POLICY. Paid $4,200 FOR SHODDY WORK. Hailey finally agreed to send a tech out to determine the problem, so today 12/22 I wait around for 4 hours, no tech. I call they tell me they will come tomorrow. SO TODAY I WRITE MY REVIEW, I'LL CONTINUE TO REVIEW AND LEAVE MY EXPERIENCE ON EVERY PLATFORM SO NOBODY HAS TO DEAL WITH THE HEADACHES IVE HAD TO. i'll remove the reviews once they operate with some integrity.

Horrible! They said my front desk asked for insurance which isn't true, so they just left. Now I have a clogged sink and full dishwasher with no resolution. I called prime plumbing and they were rude and would not help me at all.

I was referred to them thru are home warranty company and what the other reviews say. The person who answered the phone was rude and very unprofessional. I never let them come out after the 3 minutes I spent with her on the phone.
