We called Pride on a Saturday to assess our shower/bath spigot. The entire unit was so tight we couldn't turn it off.

Upon arrival, David assessed the issue and provided us with various solutions. He started with the most cost effective but warned us he could discover something else which would drive the price up. He did discover more issues that resulted in us needing a return visit, three hours of additional work, and the installation of an access panel. David was great, courteous, and professional. Our shower works like a dream now!

Pride was great and up front with prices. On top of that, they fit us in last minute on a Saturday and sent our tech back on a Sunday to complete the job. We will use them again.

These folks get my highest recommendation. Super professional and accommodating. We've been using them for 6 years. Had them replace a water heater, faucets and garbage disposals. Great communication. They are dependable and always happy to answer questions. They were even able to recommend an electrician for us that we really like as well. (Nichols Electrical) Give these guys a call.

They need to rename their company for what they really are... SHAMEFUL. I called them for a leaking kitchen sink at a rental property and they ended up charging me over 1k. It started as a service call of 89 dollars because it was Friday afternoon...from there it was you need to redo the piping under the sink for another 300 hundred...then you need a sink trap for over 200 dollars ..then came the call that it wasn't draining because piping in the basement needed to be redone.. another 300 dollars and oh yeah another 200 hundred dollars to have the drain snaked! They are probably the most deceptive company I have ever come across. Think twice about calling them!!!

We had an issue with our kitchen sink nothing was going down and it got backed up. We called Pride plumbing after doing a quick google search. They quickly set us up with Ken who was fantastic. He tried different techniques to fix our problem. Eventually our kitchen sink issue was resolved.

Called Pride for same day/emergency service. Josh and Colby arrived quickly and worked swiftly and carefully to determine the source of the problem. They were great about covering the work areas and keeping things as clean as possible. We got a fair quote and they did great work and restored everything to working condition as soon as possible. We would definitely use Pride Plumbing services again and we'd ask for Josh and/or Colby!

I had several small jobs that I had saved up. No problem with the technician, but the prices quoted were exorbitant - hundreds of dollars each for several nuisance jobs that would take only a few minutes to do, like repair a leaky faucet or install a new kitchen faucet. I've done my own work and know how long these jobs take. His explanation was that they had overhead and a big truck of supplies. I didn't buy it; I felt they were taking advantage of people who didn't know how simple the work was and how quickly it could be done, so I didn't hire him.

Just a heads up. There is zero mercy when it comes to the service fee just to come out. They will fully charge you even if it's something that takes 6 seconds to fix.

For example I made a mega mistake on my part with our water spigot. I was trying to turn it off but in reality I was just trying it the wrong way and mistakenly thought the spigot was broken. Silly I know! And I've used it successfully all last summer! I was so mad at myself afterwards, serious brain fart moment!

The plumber who came was incredibly nice and even laughed along with me at my silly mistake. He TRIED to get his boss to drop the service fee for me or at least negotiate it lower because all he had to do was turn the handle and the water shut right off. Literally 3 seconds worth of effort. But he came back to me bummed because there was zero mercy when it came to the fee.

I was a bit surprised because I'd used them before and was very pleased. I was proud to be a repeat customer, but I guess trying to be loyal doesn't count for anything :-/

Absolute crooks. Stay away. Hired them for a simple cartridge and handle replacement for shower, 45 minute job, cost over $700.00. They are more expensive than a downtown lawyer. Also tracked mud and dirt threw my house. Never again

I had Pride Plumbing come and replace a single handle Tub/Shower valve and fixture just yesterday. Scheduling was a breeze and Jamie was very responsive via email and very helpful in fitting me in fairly quickly. The plumber that came out, Steve, was very nice, did a great job, and was professional (cleaned up after, etc.).

However, they were very very expensive. They do not give you a quote before hand, even when you are very specific about what you want done. They charge you a $30 service fee for coming out, they then give you a price when they are in your home, and can do the work right then. This is a way of getting you not to comparison shop, and once they are in - how do you say ""No"" then go look for another, less expensive plumber? I am sure that is by design. They don't even waive the $30 service fee, but add it to the price! One plumber came out with a helper (trainee, apprentice) who didn't do any of the work, they were here for 2 hours and it cost me $500 AND I even supplied the fixture, so that is all labor! $500 for 1 plumber and a helper for 2 hours labor? That's ridiculous.

Bottom line: I think they did a good job, and the people I dealt with were very helpful, and professional but I felt gouged. Because of the above I will try out other plumbers in the future before turning to Pride. Good work, and professional courteous staff, but extremely high prices = 3 stars.

They charged me $600 for a snake that should've cost around $200. I called and asked around for quotes to several plumbers after the fact. Unfortunately I didn't do this right away. I didn't realize I had been ripped off at the time. For two weeks I have been calling and trying to find out why I was charged so much. I leave messages with the receptionist every time and have been told they are reviewing it and will call me back. I've never received a call back. The snake was a month ago and this still has not been resolved so I have no other choice but to take this to yelp to notify other potential customers to not do business with this company. Thoroughly disappointed and will never use them again. I was very nice on the phone and questioned the high price and still received the same response that they are reviewing and will call me back. They know they overcharged me when I had an emergency situation but won't admit it. I only wanted a partial refund. Just really bad service and customer support. I'll be taking this up with the Better Business Bureau next. For a company to take advantage of a single middle class home owner in an emergency type plumbing issue is pretty disgusting. They fixed the issue but charge me around $400 over the normal price for the same service. Do yourself a favor and call a better company!
