Jason from Pride Plumbing is an outstanding and very knowledgeable worker all around. Works with efficiency in mind and practices safety first. Even though he worked all day and had to show to my place in the middle of the night, he showed up with a great attitude and very professional. I highly recommend this company because of him.

Pride's service was simply outstanding. Jessica at the office and Leo, the plumber who came out, were very courteous, helpful and professional. Our replacement water heater was installed within half a day, and Leo cleaned up every last bit of scrap and dirt. The price was as estimated and the same Chuck, the owner, had mentioned months ago, no unplanned surprise there.

We use Pride in our HOA with great satisfaction. Now experiencing their service up close and personal was very pleasant and solidified my positive opinion of them.

It saddens me that I will have to report pride plumbing to BBB. I am also contacting them directly this morning to make understand what went so wrong.

First, I have used them in the past to fix a leaking shower drain that was dampening the ceiling of the unit below me. The plumber was extremely helpful and professional. The job took approximately four hours and was about $100 in parts and $350 in labor for a total of $450. The price seemed a bit steep but I was satisfied with the service.

Last week, my shower began leading at the faucet through the shower valve and would not stop. We called out Pride to take a look. First, the plumber hit the faucet with his hand, breaking the plastic. Next, the plumber stated that the entire shower valve would be need to be replaced and the cost would be $650. They also warned me that there could be cutting around the shower, causing additional repairs that would not be included in the quoted price.

My mother-in-laws partner is a plumber, so I asked if he could take a second look. First, he found that the moen shower valve has a plate that can be removed to inspect the valve. He was able to use the cut-off valve - so the whole building's water did not need to be cut off. Second, he found that the valve includes adjustment screws, that can re-tighten the valve seat. He was able to do this, and stop the leading. He also replaced the faucet head for me, that the Pride plumber had broken. It took him 30 minutes, and $10 to fix.

I am concerned that Pride is completely incompetent at best, or fraudulent at worst. My new plumber will also contact Pride directly to explain the situation and provide advice that untrustworthy service will not bring repeat customers. You can understand he is upset because Pride's actions damage the whole profession.

I am going to check this posting to see if it has been removed by Yelp. If it has been removed, I will not recommend Yelp any longer as it has lost its integrity.

I called them on a Sunday after a valve blew off our water heater and hot water was flooding our garage. They were very responsive, shut off the water and gas (made sure we did it correctly) and then waited to make sure it was secure. Returned first thing the next day with a valve and repaired the heater. We were prepared to replace the existing heater but they wanted us to try this first. JR, our repairman was knowledgeable and friendly. I will call them for all of our plumbing needs. Reasonable and professional. Great company!

I can't say enough about these guys. It started on a Sunday when we were having a water drainage issue in our newly purchased home. I removed the toilet since I was replacing it to find roots growing up to the wax seal. Being so concerned, I called Pride to see if someone could come out and take a look. I spoke with Chuck, told him our problem and to my surprise, he gave me advice on how to remove them (which worked) and said we probably wouldn't need a plumber for that. I briefly thought that solved the problem.

So later that night the plumbing in our master bath still wasn't draining so the next morning we called Pride again. This time they send out a couple guys an hour later to see what was going on. According to them we had one of the worst root problems they've ever seen, not exactly what you want to hear about a house you just bought. Needless to say, 7 hours later, a lot of snaking, water jetting, and camera inspections, our lines were spotless and everything drains perfectly.

They cleaned up our bathroom and best of all, were incredibly affordable. My wife and I would recommend them to just about anyone looking for a plumber!

I am so impressed by how Chuck Newton, the owner of Pride Plumbing personally called me from his cell phone this past Friday night, around 8ish pm to follow up with my concerns about my elderly parents being without hot water. Because I was not able to return Pride Plumbing's call earlier that day until 5:30pm, Chuck recommended that I call SDGE and schedule them to check out the tankless water heater at my parents rental that night. Chuck said if SDGE wouldn't be able to help my parents then I should call him back. I called Chuck back on Saturday morning and he sent one of his guys to check out the water heat that day. I then called Chuck today to thank him from the bottom of my heart for helping my parents this weekend even though he wasn't able to get a hold of the property manager or his company over the weekend. After countless plumbers, over a span of 6 months, trying to diagnose why the tankless water heater would stop producing hot water, Chuck and his team were able to determine why the tankless water heater would randomly stop producing hot water. Chuck proved to me that good-hearted, knowledgeable, and caring business owners still exist in today's busy and impersonal world. Thank you so much Chuck for answering you cell phone the times I called, caring about my elderly parents, and helping them out. Also, thank you for the education on tankless water heater pros and how they should be installed.

Saturday AM I found that my kitchen sink faucet was broken. Thinking the worst I look at the faucet sets on the computer $150.00. I then called Pride Plumbing and spoke to the owner Chuck and ask about the installation of a new sink faucet. Check said before I buy any thing let him look at the faucet. A short time later Chuck arrived and in checking the faucet found that a $15.00 repair kit for the handle was all it needed. In this day and age this is highly unusual. Chuck installed the kit and all was good. Again this is highly unusual. Pride Plumbing is above and beyond in professionalism and honesty.

Wow this company is awesome. All if the workers I met at my home were very nice and explained the entire process every step. Not that I needed to know but was informative and the reason for what and why work needed to be done. Since meeting them, I have referred to several family and friends. I can't say enough about how awesome Pride Plumbing is. Chuck and his crew are top notch.

I had a bad problem with roots from a neighbor's tree infesting the city side of the sewer lateral which caused flooding in my downstairs bathroom. JR came out and cleared the line. It lasted a few days before we realized there was another problem spot further out and the backup happened again. This time Martin came and cleared the line again, and they hydra jetted are far as they could even though there were issues with my house being old and having two 90 degree turns in the line that were difficult to get past. When the problem came back a 3rd time, Chuck came out and had several more of his guys there making sure the problem was resolved.

They spent the whole day working on the problem and even demoed some bricks and dug down to a buried clean out at the property line which allowed them to hydra jet all the way out to the Sewer main, and verified everything with his camera. He and his crew were not satisfied and did not leave until they were sure my problem would not return, even though the problem was well out into the street.

Chuck and his crew did an outstanding job and saved the day. I would recommend them to any of my friends or family. If you want to do business with someone who stands by their work and makes sure the customer gets resolution, call Pride Plumbing.
