I just moved in to a new place in Oceanside and needed expert garbage disposal repair after my efforts to reset the unit did not get it going again. I spoke with Travis and since he was booked up for the entire day, he gave me some advice of how to fix the unit. What a guy! I was really blown away with his willingness to help me without being paid. You can bet that he will be the first person I call in the future for plumbing repairs. Wow, an honest and helpful professional like him is hard to find.

We found out we needed a re-route due to a slab leak and did our due diligence by arranging for several in-person estimates. Travis from Prescription Plumbing was by far the stand out candidate to do the job in terms of his prognosis, knowledge and friendly, professional demeanor. He's passionate about plumbing and it shows - he clearly takes pride in his work. We were concerned that our house would have holes all over the place but his solution was minimally invasive and the work was carried out faster than we expected.

Going through life it pays to know a reliable mechanic, electrician and a plumber. And we're confident we found our go-to plumber. Excellent.

We have hot water again!! Our water heater stopped working (of course on a Friday). I found Prescription Plumbing on here and called. Within an hour, Travis was at my house inspecting the water heater at no charge. After a few short minutes he discovered the problem and found the part needed to fix it......all the way in San Diego.

He drove down to San Diego (from Oceanside - on a Friday afternoon), picked up the part, came back (after 3 hour delay in traffic) and replaced that needed part within 45 minutes.

Reasonably priced, great work, efficient and fast!! Highly recommend Prescription Plumbing!! Will use again..... now to the showers.... finally.

Water heater went out. Looked on Yelp for a plumber, and based on ratings I called Prescription Plumbing. Answering Machine came up and said I could text so I texted Travis and got a response a few hours later. He was very helpful in discussing the water heater problem. I was able to text him photos to help diagnose the problem ahead of time. He showed up the next day 5 minutes early and completed the job. I also paid 15 dollars less than what was quoted. Great service, very professional and informative!

Water around the hot water heater last night. I had nightmares of $1000 replacement heaters. Checked with Yelp this morning and called Travis at Prescription Plumbing. He told me he'd be done with another job between 3 and 4. He was at my house at 4:30, only because I didn't hear my voicemail!

The only tools we're good with in our house are the pen and the checkbook, so he could have told me he needed to replace the water heater. Instead, he looked at the source of the leak, tightened something, and told me it was done.

Since he was there, I had him look at two run-on toilets. He had the parts to fix them, got the work done, and I felt like I'd just saved $900!

Highly recommend Travis for his quality of work and honesty. And he's much younger than us, so I know we have a plumber for life, unless he changes careers!

Travis was professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job at a fair price. He diagnosed the problem with our water heater over the phone, and was able to give an estimate at that time. He happened to have an opening that afternoon, and within about four hours of my initial call, the new water heater was installed. He also embraces technology, processing payment on the spot. He's running a solid, modern plumbing business and is going to be our ""go to"" plumber.
