Water around the hot water heater last night. I had nightmares of $1000 replacement heaters. Checked with Yelp this morning and called Travis at Prescription Plumbing. He told me he'd be done with another job between 3 and 4. He was at my house at 4:30, only because I didn't hear my voicemail!

The only tools we're good with in our house are the pen and the checkbook, so he could have told me he needed to replace the water heater. Instead, he looked at the source of the leak, tightened something, and told me it was done.

Since he was there, I had him look at two run-on toilets. He had the parts to fix them, got the work done, and I felt like I'd just saved $900!

Highly recommend Travis for his quality of work and honesty. And he's much younger than us, so I know we have a plumber for life, unless he changes careers!

Travis was professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job at a fair price. He diagnosed the problem with our water heater over the phone, and was able to give an estimate at that time. He happened to have an opening that afternoon, and within about four hours of my initial call, the new water heater was installed. He also embraces technology, processing payment on the spot. He's running a solid, modern plumbing business and is going to be our ""go to"" plumber.

I have nothing but good to say about Travis and his company. He was on time for all appointments. We interviewed a lot of plumbers. He definitely came across as the most professional. He replaced a sink, some faucets, leaks, garbage disposal, etc. We checked around and his prices were very good. He did a beautiful job and even taught me how to do a few things. I highly recommend him. He was nice to have around, very thoughtful.

I had a bad plumber come out and horrifically botch an installation of a tank-less water heater (roto rooter). Travis came out and replaced the damaged plumbing, and insulated and pipes, restoring pressure and safe hot water to my house. He replaced damaged valves. He repaired the gas leaks roto rooter left and installed a safety vent pipe to protect us should the heater need to vent.
He put in a recirculation pump so we get hot water without wasting water (great money saver) and even replaced a toilet for us.
Travis is very professional. He does a great job at a fair price. He honors his estimates. He is on time.
Really, he is the model of what you want in a professional.

I signed up on Yelp just so I could write this review.

Travis was great. He arrived on-time with everything needed to do the job, re-seated a toilet and installed a new kitchen faucet, and gave me a quick tutorial on the ins and outs of my garbage disposer. His communication was spot-on before and during the visit and worked around another repairman while doing the job. I have him coming next week for some other work and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

I anticipate him becoming very busy due to the great service he provides and the happy clients here on Yelp.

Update: he came the next week as planned, on-time and ready to work. Finished up the other toilet quicker than I thought. Also found out that he does water and gas plumbing for BBQ islands and firepits. Dangit...now I have that stuck in my head!

Travis was friendly and professional and fixed the leak in our attic plumbing. Afterwards he checked the water pressure and spent time explaining how and why the pipe may have cracked. His price was very fair. We will definitely call him again if we have any plumbing needs

Travis is AWESOME!! I just signed a lease on a new place and found out the master tub was clogged as I was cleaning...
I had one day to fix the problem before moving in. I called Travis and described the problem. He said he was in the area and would come by in about an hour. He was SUPER friendly, very knowledgeable, and very fairly priced!! I found another leak while he was here, and he fixed it too!
It's hard to find honest, quick, reliable business contacts...Travis is all 3!
I highly recommend Travis and his work. I'll be using him for any plumbing issues in the future! :)
