I had a circulating pump that failed and I contact American Home Shield for it's repair/replacement.
They sent James from Premium One...I see why they call it ""premium"". James is the owner, and he came out to replace it...The first one was bad from the factory, the second one had a control box with a broken housing...the third one installed today...and so far it works. James has been here FOUR times to get this thing working, and I couldn't have asked for anyone nice or more professional than him. These problems were not at all caused by him but rather faulty units sent by the manufacturer.
James is amazing. Always welcomed in my home.
Thanks James! You're the best!

Alan from Premium One Plumbing was terrific! He was professional & knowledgeable. Alan went above & beyond to fix my plumbing problems. I highly recommend this plumber!

Big fan of James and Premium One Plumbing. I first found him via American Home Shield warranty -- we had a pinhole leak in Dec 2016 and they assigned us James/POP. He came out to our house on a holiday, and while he required a surcharge for the holiday timing, he reduced the amount of that surcharge by the end of the appointment (for no reason other than goodwill). When my pipes developed another pinhole leak in Aug 2017, I no longer had my AHS warranty, so I called James again (this time on a Saturday). I had no idea how much the fix truly costs -- AHS had covered my costs before beyond the $75 copay (and modest holiday surcharge) -- so I was fearing the worst. James quoted me a very reasonable number and came out and fixed the pipe within a few hours. He also gave me some helpful tips for what to do next so as to avoid this recurring problem.

I put a request through my home warranty and James showed up in the hour. Gas leaking
from the gas fireplace and he gave me two options: fix it or cap it. He did a professional fast
courteous job and the price was reasonable. I will use him in the future from now on. I like
when a business takes pride in its work and James certainly does.

Greedy. Lazy. Worst experience ever. My home insurance (American Home Shield) sent them. I think it was Harry. And for the last 10 years I owned my house every plumber they sent fixed the problem, which was cleaning out the pipe from the roof. Harry refused because ""it wasn't covered"" unless I paid him an extra $75 on top of the service fee I paid him, but every plumber before him said it takes 5 minutes and they had no problem doing it. So I had no choice to pay Harry/Premium One Plumbing an extra $75 dollars to fix it and guess what? It took him less than 5 minutes to do it. So greedy. Avoid at all costs. I wish American Home Shield would get rid of Premium One Plumbing as they're always so horrible and give everyone a bad name.

We used Premium One Plumbing through American Home Shield, and I was impressed with every aspect of their business. James came out to our house and diagnosed the problem quickly, more than willing to show me where the problem was and how he planned to remedy it. We ended up needing a new sink head, and he didn't try to up-sell us anything, and gave us a product which has now been working great for the past three months. He also did the install in less than 40 minutes. Everything about this outfit is fantastic, I would definitely recommend them!

Not surprisingly, plumbing emergencies always seem to happen on weekends or holidays. Unfortunately, we had one this past holiday weekend, and were assigned to ""Premium One Plumbing "" by AHS Home Warranty for our water main leak (which had forced us to shut off the main water).
I would never recommend or use ""Premium One Plumbing"" again....they are about as far from ""premium"" as you can get! Also, it's basically just one guy (""James"") who has a plumbing license, a generic plain white van and a PO Box at his local UPS Store in Montrose.
Starting with my initial phone call with ""James"", he was incredibly rude, condescending and clearly annoyed at being bothered on a holiday weekend...he certainly was not interested in actually working on a holiday (despite his website's multiple claims that he offers ""24/7 Emergency Service""). He simply said ""It's a holiday - I don't work on holidays"". Rather than agreeing to a time to come to our house, he told me to call AHS to make sure that our water main leak was covered under the warranty or not, and to then call him back to schedule a time to come out. So I did just that, and AHS told me the leak was covered...so I called him right back. But he didn't bother answering the phone, and he didn't call me back until the next day (more than 18 hours later). I guess not working on holidays also means not returning phone calls -- despite specifically telling me to call him right back.
When he finally came to our house, he spent a total of about 5 minutes looking at the water pouring up out of the concrete just beside our house, and looking at the aboveground pipes. He then proclaimed that ""this can't be repaired - you have galvanized pipe, and that cannot be repaired like copper -- so you're going to have to dig it all up and replace everything...repair isn't an option""."" He was referring to a stretch of concrete three feet wide and 50 long! Based on nothing more than simply at the water coming up, and visually tracing some of our above ground pipes (which were not themselves leaking).
Not believing him, I asked ""James"" if he had a leak detector or something else he could use to know where exactly the actual leak was, since the water was coming out of several places, including right next to the house. He said that would be a waste of time and money -- but he told me I could hire one (on my own) if I wanted to.
""James"" then called AHS, and told them (without ever having used a leak detector, never finding the actual source of the leak, not knowing anything about what pipes we may have under the concrete...and after having seen water pouring out of the ground in multiple places just 1 inch from our outer walls!....that he concluded that our water leak was ""outside the boundary of the house's foundation"" -- and based on that, AHS told him that none of it would not be covered under the warranty!
But before I could talk to the AHS rep myself, he quickly hung up the phone. Incredulous, I asked him why he didn't let me talk to AHS -- and he claimed that they would be calling me right now to explain. But because he already had our $75 service fee (like a deductible for warranty) he refused to wait for AHS to call (and after a few heated words, he drove away with our check). That was $75 for 5-10 minutes of ""work"" and making one stupid phone call!
Fortunately, I've now found a REPUTABLE plumber and leak detection company, and I will have our water leak repaired correctly. I wish I had not wasted my time and money with ""Premium One Plumbing"" (although with that horrible AHS warranty service, you don't get any say in who they assign).

We put in a request through our home warranty and Harry from Premium came out and did a great job getting our hot water heater up and running. Great service and friendly. I would recommend them.
Thanks

After various inept, unreliable or overpriced plumbers we were referred to James, and he has been consistently skilled, responsive, reliable, clean, efficient, and professional. Also Premium One does not lowball price quotes and then try to up-sell. Their pricing is fair and consistent. Highly recommended. We have called on James six or more times and he never let us down.

This company is great if you want to be talked to unprofessionally by the plumber (who is the owner, by the way). One of us had a slight mix-up on the appointment time; I worked from home and was there all day but didn't answer my phone right away because I wasn't expecting his call already. I called back 5-10 minutes later, he was already gone and he proceeded to berate me very unprofessionally. I can't believe anyone would talk to a customer that way. If you decide to use this company and ever have a dispute, I hope you have a really thick skin and high tolerance for arrogance.
PS. AHS refused to send another company out so I paid out of pocket for another fellow who fixed the problem with no issues.
